Fact: I have not had a single hiccup with my car in the four years I've had it, and then it broke down on Thursday while I was on my way to visit a friend. Such lovely timing...

Another fact: I have a severe distrust of most car repair places and dealerships.

Fact: I have been editing my novel I wrote for NaNoWriMo. I have been posting on this free writing site to hopefully get some feedback. Here is a link to it if your interested.

Another fact: Now that summer is here I will have a lot more time to work on it and might actually finish editing it. That would be sweet.

Fact: Even though summer is here, I have to do a lot of studying for oral exams on June 3. It's comprehensive over everything I've learned in undergrad biology and my core classes in grad school. Fun times...

Another fact: I haven't had a free summer since freshman year of college. I've done internships and research during my summers since then, but I prefer that because I would go stir crazy if I had nothing to do.

Fact: I have been watching the Red Wings in the Stanly Cup playoffs and am hoping that they make it to the next round. I also have been growing a playoff beard. Here is me showing off my beardatude! (although its a little longer now since the pic is 5 days old)

Fact: When I was younger I used to think that the Hubble Telescope took such awesome pictures because it was close up to those things: nebulae and other galaxies and such. I had no idea space was so big. I also did not know that they were false-color pictures. Space is essentially black and white, not neon green and purple and red and blue and orange. At least, not quite like the pictures show. How sad I was when I learned that Sad

Oh man... I stalled my brother's truck at the same light three lights in a row! I was so damn embarrassed. But then I managed to stop at a light on a hill and start going when it was green without stalling or rolling backward. Just instinct.... Don't know how it works. Good luck to you though!
