Re: The Celebration Thread :D
Yeah, teaching biology labs is how I get paid my stipend to stay in grad school. Hopefully when I choose my advisor, they'll have funding to pay me so I don't have to teach on the side, but for now it's a great experience. It's also good practice for when I have to take oral exams at the end of the school year. But thankies! Love you too!

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
I have successfully submitted my first to articles to associatedconent.com! They aren't up yet, because they are being reviewed. But once they are up, I will post a link to my profile so anyone who is interested can see them. One of them is about the science of the space elevator, the other about the Melon Fruit Fly pests that may be invading the continental United States.
Anyway...just thought I would let everyone know I've attempted to stop putting off my life.

I celebrate feeling like I'm taking my life in the right direction instead of just a "random" direction. It feels good knowing I'll be going on to uni/college after I finish making up high school, or the Swedish variation.
The direction is a game education, programmer or graphic artist or designer or so. Haven't decided exactly.

I celebrate that after three months of being blind as a bat because my glasses broke I finally got contacts! I can see again! It's a miracle! [Cries happy tears at the sight of her suddenly vivid world] Now I can finally get around to learning how to drive since I'm about a year or two behind in that department.

I finally posted the intro post for the Exciled Savior: The Udapak Child role-play! I'm sorry to everyone who was forced to wait for so long, and thank you Blackrock, Quakernuts and Miss Dagger for having patience with me. It is finally going now, and we are only one warrior short

Holy cow, why did that happen?? It might make me play it. Free things are good. Unless there is a catch...

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
The only catch is that people who don't pay for it can't access every little thing about it. They have to make their living somehow, so some things require real money. Personally, I don't see it as a bad thing because there is still so much that can be accessed without paying real money for it. =3

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
Well, in that case, I may have to make a little check in there. I love trying out a bunch of different games. I tried Runescape (Oh my god that sucked), EVE (stopped because I only had a trial and I am already paying for WoW) and now Lotro. So thank you for opening yet another door to another (good?) MMORPG!
So I would like to celebrate you celebrating this in the first place! xD
Edit: Lol, Raptor. >.>

I celebrate that lady is no longer sick and was able to come over some this weekend.
Could one of you tell me if it is fun though? lol

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
Well, Raptor, I'm only at level eight or nine with my character, but I think it's fun. It's my first real MMORPG, though, and I've never been much of a gamer though I do have plenty of fun doing it.
I'm sure my opinion is a bit biased, though, considering the fact that I have my lover with whom to play. =3

I bet that is an incentive. lol
Since it has been recommended as good I might as well take a look see. One never knows when one will find something fun.

I celebrate the fact that my manager was told that he is worthless by his boss, and that he is likely facing a transfer. That most certainly made my day!

I celebrate my computer problems finally going away!
Some kind of bug ran through the dorms for the past few days. I couldn't do anything on Facebook, AOL, deviantart, forums... It was incredibly annoying.

Ok, this is a shout out to all FoG WoWers so it may sound nerdy to all non-players.
I was doing my Hyldnir daily today as I have for the past couple months, wishing that the reins of the elusive plar bear mount would drop... today however, when taking up the daily 'Maintaining Discipline', I had a strange feeling that things would be different this time around. Surely enough, upon completion, THE DAMN THING DROPPED! I am now the proud owner of a the reins of the White Polar Bear!
Huzzah!

I celebrate finally succeeding /perfectly/ in making my lemon oregano spread while making a simple panini this morning for breakfast. The panini was a french spiced fresh cut bread with Italian roast beef, provolone, and a lemon spread with a spicy pepper juice over the meat. I wish I had more things for it, especially tomato and spinach leaves, but I'm a little on the poorer side so I feel good for having accomplished what I did lol.

Wooohooo! Gratz Dax!
I still remember the day, (though not the date) when I first did those dailies with my hunter and the polar bear dropped, and I also felt that "This is a good day." So I did the dailies with my alt druid too and guess what, it dropped again.
Not to steal your thunder. Rather to add to it and to pick up the WoW spirit!

I celebrate busting a tire avoiding stupid drivers going the wrong way...
It could have potentially been much worse. Plus I learned how to change a tire lol

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
Ok, so this is over a week late, but I haven't really had much time to stop by lately.
Last Monday, the 13th, I began comfortably wearing Extra-large shirts for the first time in at least six years. I have lost weight, so I'm no longer wearing XXL shirts. It's kind of an issue, though, since all I own are XXL's. The most accomplishing feeling is coming from the fact that I'm losing weight simply by cutting what I eat. I'm not on a diet plan, I'm simply trying to change my habits so that once I lose weight I don't gain it back.
So, recap: In the past three months, I have made two achievements in the challenge of losing weight. 1) I got a new wheelchair that needed to be SMALLER than my last one. 2) I'm wearing XL shirts comfortably.
YAY ME! It's a huge self-esteem boost, not that I had any real hard feelings about my self-image anyways, but still!
