~laughs~ That's awesome. I hope the adjustment goes off without a hitch. ^^
Re: The Celebration Thread :D
I spent about 4 hours today, Recording, editing, and creating a Myspace, getting the music onto Myspace for FOG's Theme song, a cover done by me. Theres a post on the forums too!

I celebrate finishing a course and doing a good job (actually I believe it was great) on a test I prepared nothing for.

I celebrate finally being able to fall asleep last night/this morning, and I doubly celebrate the complete lack of pain when I woke up~.

Thanks, Mel! I'm really excited about it! =D *dances in seat* I hate this waiting for my stuff to be published though, heh. But yeah, I figured I'd let FOG know since I am sure I'd get support from you guys.

Wow, that's awesome, Rain! One of my closest friends in college was worrying about finding a job as an English major after graduation, so I know they're pretty hard to find. Congrats on finding this job!

Silvan, thanks so much! I think I'm well on my way. *crosses fingers* I think I got this freelancing stuff figured out at least a little bit. I got another article published today and have several waiting approval. It'd be great if you guys on FOG checked 'em out. (I know several of you have already.)
So yeah, still celebrating! *dances in seat*

I celebrate that we all have so much to celebrate! I just noticed that this thread has 1000 posts now, while the complaints thread has just over 600. While venting is great for relieving stress, I'm encouraged to know that we all seem to be pretty optimistic people and enjoy sharing in each others' good fortunes.
Yeah...I'm feeling a bit sentimental today, in case you couldn't tell *sheepish grin*

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
I want to celebrate the fact that:
A.) I'm getting out of Tennessee for a week for some actual downtime, which is awesome.
and
B.) I've got two tickets to see Coheed and Cambria, Porcupine Tree and The Dear Hunter in Asheville, NC. I'm REALLY celebrating that one since Coheed and Cambria is definitely my all time favorite band.

Fate, all the above that you're celebrating is awesome! Seriously, I can't even begin to explain how excited I am for you.

Wow, I'm so happy for everyone here! There's much to celebrate!
I celebrate a super fun hiking trip this weekend with new friends and actually hanging out with people instead of staying home under post-surgery convalescence.

I'm celebrating getting the highest grade on my weekly oral assignments. This Japanese course is a 5 week online course, where I get weekly written and oral assignments. And those are important! ^^ So once again, I am so happy. And thanks everyone!

That's great, Gunneh! What kind of work are you doing now, if you don't mind me asking? And I celebrate slow days at my own job, since next week is Funfest, which means that we'll have tons more visitors than usual to the nature reserve where I work. And more visitors means more chaos... So yay for peace and quiet while we get it!

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
I have two things to celebrate. First, I got the highest grade on the written assignment too. And since there will be five oral and written assignments plus a test, these are really important for my overall grade. Although I'm guessing the later ones will be more important than those in the beginning of the course (the course is only 5 weeks so yeah).
The second is the awesome avatar I have! Thanks Kalon!! Wiiii!
(Oh and the weather is less hot, which is a plus.)

I celebrate that I had my next post-op doctor's appointment, and I have officially been pronounced HEALED and discharged. That means no more appointments, and I can work out, lift things heavier than my cat, and not fret all the time that I'm going to hurt myself. WHEEEEE!!!!!!

Congrats Silvan and Dagger!
I'd say congrats Gunneh, but I hate him.
I celebrate being Member of the Month! *dances in giddiness* It's crazy that I've been given that honor and I'm not even sure I've been around a month yet. I have a bad sense of time.

I celebrate the fact that The Lord of the Rings Online is going to be free pretty soon, and my lover said we could play it together because he thinks it's really fun! I'm really excited. It's supposed to be free in the fall, so I don't know exactly when it'll be free. I'll just be happy once it is. ^^_^^
