Re: The Celebration Thread :D
I just made an announcement over Twitter and Facebook that I'm starting to work on the new podcast that will be replacing FOG FM. I'm celebrating this because I'm absolutely stoked and have never been more motivated to carry out something for my God than ever before! I'm so motivated, in fact, that I'm actually messing up my sleep schedule and doing laundry at 0100hrs in the morning because the work I'm putting into this show!
I'll be doubly excited whenever Gunneh get's his internet back so we can actually carry on with the voice recordings! xD

Oh my goodness, Agenda! That sounds super exciting! I'm looking forward to it!
I came here just to celebrate the cuteness that is my rattie, Sky. <3 I just had him out of the cage a little bit, and it's so cute watching him run around. He was the rat I had always hoped from growing up -- sweet, affection, unafraid, and a blue Dumbo Rex in one!

That's amazing, Ryona! I'm so happy for you! Best of luck with all the packing and moving!
I celebrate that my other roommate passed her oral exams today. There's three of us girls living together, and now both of my roommates have passed. It's up to me tomorrow to keep the winning streak going!

You'll do great! The wait is worse than anything else.
Thanks. We're trying to open a daycare, so on top of all of the moving I need to be working on the daycare facility application as well It's going to be a mad dash!

Oh, wow! Congrats, Ryona!!! That is so awesome! You're so lucky to be able to get a house at your age. As a house-warming gift, this is for you:
I am feeling good. I am working out and eating right, and hopefully soon enough I'll have the flat stomach I've always wanted. That'd be perfect for boating this summer.

*cough* Ahem...I have an important announcement to make...
I PASSED MY ORAL EXAMS AND AM OFFICIALLY A MASTER'S CANDIDATE!!!!!! WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Ah, life is good right now... I'm gonna celebrate by doing a little shopping, catching a movie with one of my best friends from high school who literally just called me two seconds ago, and seeing my man tonight. YAY!
I'm glad your day is going well, Fate! It's amazing how much diet and exercise can boost a person's mood!

Silvan!!! I'm so glad you did it! I knew you would be fine. Congrats, hon! I know how worried you were and how much you had to study. It definitely paid off! Wow, sounds like a great day!
Oh, and definitely. I know what you mean!

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
I'm just in a very celebratory mood this weekend! Let's see...
1. One of my friends from swing is getting married today and I'm super excited to attend the wedding!
2. Another good friend is celebrating her birthday tonight
3. After swing dancing, I'm spending the rest of the weekend with my boyfriend until jazz practice Sunday evening. Nothing like a nice, lazy Sunday after all this madness with oral exams and big crowds of people at social events
Oh, and I celebrate that this new layout for FoG is AWESOME!!!

From : I lent my sergeant my nook so he could read "The Dream Giver". He blew thru that entire book in 2 1/2 hours and loved every word of that Wilkinson had to say. I was shocked and amazed! But mostly grateful that God spoke to him thru that book. He's now ready to pursue his own dream and mend a broken relationship with the one woman he loves. He also charged my nook's battery... hallelujah!

I celebrate the fact that the new banner-thingy at the top of the website, the big tree, reminds me of the story I wrote for FOG's Ghost Story contest, with the character Little Rock.
This tree looks just like I imagined the tree, and the tall grass is similar to the strange stalks that I had growing around it.
Just kind of cool, to me anyway

Kind of an odd thing to celebrate, but I celebrate having strep throat as opposed to mono. I can knock strep in a few days with antibiotics and steroids. Mono would probably have me out of commission for half of my summer sampling season. Le sigh...maybe I can finally catch up on my role-plays and accounting stuff for swing and grad school...

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
Silvone, I've only heard one bad review about that movie, but it was from my step-dad who can't stand watching anything that makes him think. As long as there's lots of exploding throughout the entire movie, he's satisfied. He said there was plenty of that, but there were scenes he felt were boring, but he's not intellectually inclined at all, so I really would put much stock into his words.
I hope you enjoy it!

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
I celebrate an amazing stroke of luck I had yesterday.
I preordered infAMOUS 2 at Game Stop, but I only preordered the regular game (there is also a Hero Edition, which costs $100), and when I was preordering it (weeks ago) the guy behind the counter asked me which version I'd like to preorder. Back then, I wasn't even aware there was another edition, and I told him I'd have to research some about it to decide whether I'd want to pay that much for it or not, and he said that was fine, that I could just preorder the regular version and change it to the Hero when I pick it up if I want.
Well, I went to pick up the game yesterday, and I found out that the Hero Edition is extremely limited and is only being released very sparingly throughout all PAL areas. Only people that preorder the version will be able to buy it as well -- it isn't part of Game Stop inventory unless it was on preorder. So, the Game Stop I preordered the game at didn't have it, obviously. So, the guy working was nice enough to call around different Game Stops nearby, just to see if for some reason someone would have an extra one on sale.
Incredibly, one Game Stop on the Iowa side of the Quad Cities got an extra Hero Edition when they came in. So, we drove out over there and picked it up! Apparently I wasn't even supposed to be allowed to get it, since you were only supposed to own it if you preordered that version specifically (which the guy I originally preordered inFAMOUS from wasn't aware of at the time), so I was very happy.

Fate, that's really cool! What extra features does the Hero Edition have? Jonathan only preordered the regular game. When you play it, I want to hear your thoughts on what you think of the Good play-through ((since that's the only one I saw. I'll be playing the Evil one myself in the future.))

Yeah, I was happy I was able to get one. I put a link to everything you get with the Hero Edition in that post, and it has pictures and everything. You get a lot of great stuff for just an extra $40. After seeing the figure of Cole (which is waaay bigger than I thought it was going to be) and the replica bag that you get, those alone are worth it to me. The bag is actually really heavy duty and well-made. I was legitimately surprised at the quality.
I'll let you know! I can post it in the inFAMOUS thread I started in the Entertainment section, actually. I can't wait to play it, but I have to wait until Tuesday (when I'm back at my condo where my PS3 is/not in the Quad Cities). I definitely plan on playing through the good version first. I hope you enjoy playing through as the evil side later on!

Well, statistically speaking, if we go by your average posts-per-day rate, I don't think any of us have a chance.

Hm... Maybe not... unless you spam the game threads. That's probably the easiest way to get posts up, right? It's probably why I kind of avoid them. =3
I celebrate the wonderful feeling of freshly shaved legs. Sooooo smooth. ^^_^^
Of course, tomorrow, my legs will be all razer-burned and itchy and crappy, but for now, they feel awesome...

I don't know what the Bruins are, but I'm assuming they're a sports team of some kind?
I celebrate the sprinkler system has been activated with the help of our really nice neighbors. Apparently, the man who used to live here, Gene, taught our neighbor how to use his own sprinkler system, so it's sort of like the teachings have come full circle. ^^_^^
Also, Gene must have been a crazy-generous person because as he got older, he knew he would probably have to go to a home ((I think he passed away before that ever happened)), so he had every valve of the sprinklers replaced to insure that whoever lived here next would have good valves. That is something that I would never do. Jonathan admits that he would never do it, either. Even our nice neighbor who helped figure out the sprinklers, John, admitted he would never do that.

Awesome! The finals are always over before I even realize they've started...I never can seem to pay attention.
I can't believe he would go out of his way to do that...he seems like a person that really cared about his property, not just because it was his but because it was something nice and he wanted to retain it. I don't know if I would ever do such a thing, but I've never really had money to spare so I can't know at this point.
What is rude, Tartra?

Tartra, what's rude? If you're referring to my post, I see nothing rude about it. I responded to what you had to say, after all.
Ryona, I bet that's a relief! Do you think you did well on your finals?
Also, I have a question based on mere curiosity. When I first met you on FoG, you were really into archeology. What changed with that?
I know, right? That man seems like a really generous person. One day, we got a package from Amazon, and the UPS delivery guy was like, "Do you know what happened to that nice old man who used to live here?" I mean, he even made an impact on people who probably didn't even see him very often!
On one hand, I'm really glad we got a house that belonged to someone like that because it gives better vibes that way. On the other hand, that's a lot to live up to in the neighborhood. XD
I'm serious about those good vibes, though. I loved this house the moment I stepped into it. Some houses in the past have given me bad vibes, but this house isn't one of them.
