Yay! It's Halloween! Unfortunately, I don't have any really good pictures of my costume. Night time shots are made of super fail, but I'll try to get them up at some point.

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
I celebrate having gotten an awesome second job!
You may have noticed I'm slightly less overly-active here the past couple weeks. That's why. ^_^
I'm a security guard!!
No, I'm not a policeman; no, I'm not armed. Our mission is to observe and report!
Actually the main reason we're there is to deter employee theft. Our company has a contract with FedEx, and missing packages was a big problem for those guys before they upped their security policies.
So anyway yeah!
The uniform's all black and cool. Maybe I'll post pictures one of these days.
I'm doing the graveyard shift on the weekends, so really the main challenge is not falling asleep. xD
And I do! Not, that is. Go me! (It's haaaard)
The supervisor lady likes to be neat and organized. And since I like to be neat and organized, we're getting along great. ^_^
Getting to be friends with the rest of 'em, too. It's a good crew. They're all Integrity and Friendliness and Making Sure We Look Good for the Bosses.
Good times. (sleepy, but good.)
Ceeeeeeluhbrate good tahmes, COME ON!
And I don't mind telling you I get 10$ an hour. Which isn't all that much, but hey, it's more than minimum, and it's looking pretty much good all around, so I'm the happy!
Yay!
I mean,
Yay. Can I see your I.D.?

Congratulations on your second job, Kalon!!!
All the smilies you used just made that EPIC.
Ten bucks and hour is what I used to make and wish I still did, so congrats! That all sounds like a pretty good situation to me. ^_^ Good luck with everything! And do post some pictures if you get the chance.

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
Congrats, Kalon! I agree with Fate, the smilies were epic! As nice as 10 bucks an hour sounds, I still probably won't be able to pay living expenses without either a second job or living with roommates after I graduate. That, and I would have to live on a really strict budget. Oh, and forget about ever owning a dog or any pet that requires some sort of heavy monetary investment. Ah well, such is life!

Eh? World Records?
That doesn't seem to fit.
What is this of which you speak? By Silvan's reaction, it seems awesome.

Yay for Guinness!
But mostly booya for my package arriving today! What was in it you ask? Oh, nothing important if you're not into it like me, but something awesome for a fan. I ordered Persona 4 online a few days ago, and got that baby express posted to my house! I've been playing it all day. Screw a resume, this is IMPORTANT dammit!
(For those that don't know, Persona 4 is a game for Playstation 2. It is one of a very large series called Shin Megami Tensei, AKA The MegaTen series.)

Kalon, it's a beer, and I believe Silvan is super psyched about the fact that Ghost is now home which consequentially means he's also available to be on FoG more rather than what he's drinking. It is rather awesome that he's home! Beer is gross, though...
Dreamless, what's the plot of the game?

Kathryn is totally correct on the reason behind my super-enthusiastic response ^_^
I celebrate that I'm feeling much better today after my flu shot. My arm is still a little sore, but other than that I'm fine. And it's just in time, because tonight kicks off a weekend of swing/blues dancing with people coming in from all around the region! Wooo!!!!

(Guinness is superior to all other beer. End of story. )
The plot of Persona 4? Well, let me tell you a tale. It's about a young man (roughly 16 - 17 from what I can gather) who has to move from the big city to the little town of Inaba for a year. His parents recently got new jobs, and so he will be living with his Uncle while they move all the belongings to the new house, and get settled down. Anyhow, after attending school for one or two days, he hears about a rumour going around. "Look into a T.V at midnight to see your soul mate.". The protagonist and his new friends decide to give it a shot, and all of them see the same person in the "Midnight Channel". The girl they all saw soon turns up dead, and they begin to realize that those that appear on the "Midnight Channel" are in fact going to be the next victims of some supernatural serial killer.
While trying to pursue this mystery, and find out more about the "Midnight Channel", the protagonist and his friends discover the power inside them known as Persona. The ability to fight using the mirror of ones true self. With these powers they are able to combat the Shadow's that keep those stuck in the "Midnight Channel" prisoner, and slowly try and unravel the mystery of Inaba.
> Silvan
Nice luck there Silvan! I remember the last time I got a flu shot, I ended up with bronchitis and a slight case of pneumonia. Never got a shot since then, haha.

(Dreamless Days, I am SO envious of you Aussies right now! And especially you, for living on a coastal town. That sounds like paradise. Enjoy your summer!!!)
So, back when I was still employed (and before I realized I'd be leaving my job!), I purchased a new and bigger cage for my beloved son/AKA my rat, Sky. <3 I also had to buy custom-made fleece liners for the cage (it's like bedding for him to walk on), and they have been recently completed by an amazing seamstress that I met on the awesome Goosemoose.com website and will be arriving today!!! That means Sky gets to enjoy his new home now. I'm so excited to organize all his hammocks in there and watch him explore his new environment. He's my little baby.
