^ That's definitely something worth celebrating!!
I have a job interview tomorrow at Petsmart! I'm hoping it's for the dog trainer position I applied for. :]

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
I thought you were against Petsmart because they don't take good enough care of their animals?

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
It all depends on the store, but every Petsmart, no matter how great or knowledgable their employees, gets their animals from animal mills. I will never support that, but I honestly need a job, since I'm going to be completely supporting myself in less than a month, so I'll take what I can get, and if I'm working with just other people's dogs training them, then I would be happy.
Re: The Celebration Thread :D
Ah, okay. That makes sense. I hope you get the job you want.

Yeah. Aw, thanks. :]
Well, the first interview went well! The guy that interviewed me had to be around my age, and he was really laid back and friendly. It would only be part-time though, starting out, but they do have benefits for part-timers at least. It would also be nights and weekends, so I'd have to look for another part-time job to cover day shifts it seems. Well, it could be fun, it sounds like! I'll be getting a second interview sometime next week.

Dagger, I hope you have fun!
Fate, that's really great. I hope you definitely get the job, and I hope you're able to find a day job, too.

Fate, I hear your concern. If there was one around, I'd suggest trying a Petland, but when it's time to just get a job, ya take what ya can get.
I celebrate having two days off! Now, to do some postin! And make my OOC. >.>

Friends are always a great thing to celebrate!
I'm also celebrating that I got my new laptop today! w00t! However, there's a slight complaint at the same time because we're going out of town for the weekend, so I don't get to set it up until we're home Sunday. Still, though, I'm happy we're going out of town, for my parents' sake since they've been so busy with work lately. Then only Monday and Tuesday home before we leave again on Wednesday for a couple days.

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
(I totally posted this in the complaints thread and meant it for here. xD)
Last night, my boyfriend and I were downtown visiting a friend. We ended up staying way later than we meant to, and by the time we left, it was around 3 AM. It was neat, however, since we got to walk along the streets to a set for Transformers 3! At first, when we came up to it, it looked like some horrible type of road construction. There was concrete all lifted up out of the ground and debris everywhere. There were also cars all smashed and burned and mixed in with chaos. Then I saw a city bus and realized it had to be a set for a movie. They had a lot of night security patrolling the streets, keeping people moving along, and one guy told us which movie it was for. The guards were really cool and one girl let us get some pictures. Unfortunately, my phone had died just at this point, but my boyfriend was able to take some with his camera. I'll post them when they finish uploading.

Oh, awesome, Kathryn!! Congrats! That's exciting! Hope it's fun!
Hehe here are the pictures. The quality isn't great, since it was taken with an older phone, and it was dark.

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
Me, too, but I don't have a Wii, so I'll have to wait until my next visit with Misery to be able to play it. I heard it's the best of any of the games set in the A:tLA universe, so I'm excited for it. =3
Hm... I wonder if you'll be able to pinpoint what parts shown in the movie were displayed where you are. Are you going to go see it?

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
Ohh, that's too bad, but at least Misery has the Wii so you can still experience it. That's awesome that it's also supposed to be the best Avatar game!!
That would be really neat. I didn't see the second Transformers, since I heard it wasn't so good, but I'll probably see it now and the third one, since it's kind of cool that same of it was filmed right downtown.

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
Yeah. If Misery didn't have a Wii, I wouldn't have tried to win it, but he does. Last time I visited him, he bought an Avatar game for Wii, and we played it together. It went by in couple of hours. It was sad, and he was kind of irritated that something so short had cost so much money ((due to the extra controller he had to buy along with the game)). I hope that this one is a two player game, and I hope it lasts longer.
Yeah. Right before you see the movie, you could rent the first and second ones to watch then see the third. You should let us know if you recognize anything from it. ^^_^^

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
Sweet! So they're finally filming Transformers 3! I personally enjoyed both movies. The second one had some very anime-ish plot twists that looked a little out of place in a real-life movie, but other than that I really liked it.
I celebrate that I finally got around to seeing The Last Airbender today, and it was really good! My mom and I loved watching all the martial arts in the bending and fight scenes, since we're both black belts in Tae Kwon Do. And this is going to sound crazy, but I celebrate work tomorrow. My partner wasn't at work on Friday because he took the day off to go out of town, so I'm excited to see him tomorrow
