Congratulations, Spacewheeler! It's always wonderful to hear about people getting healthier, and I definitely know how exciting it can be to discover you can wear a size or two smaller than you once wore.

Celebration:
WOOOOP. I made a 98 on my composition in my ...composing class .. WOOOOT. Which apparently is "really hard to do"
This is what I did:
Banged my head on the keys and wrote down what notes came out. Im not sure how any one can fail that ^_^
It sounded really.. Minor.. Chinese...like..ish

House is awesome!
I celebrate finding the most perfect sweater...Taeo doesn't like costumes, so I was going to use felt and make him a shark using a grey sweater. Well, I found a sweater that IS A SHARK SWEATER! and he LOVES IT! YAY!
Now all I have to do is make a rib cage with a surf board enclosed on his red shirt, and he's set. He's going to look so cute for Halloween and its going to be super comfy too.

I celebrate getting to watch a Finnish film on The Movie Channel this morning! xD
Yes, I know I'm ridiculously obsessed...
Ooh, it was also raining this morning when I got up! Granted I'd rather not be awake at 6:17 but still. RAIN! Actually it was and still is only sprinkling... but still... water descending from the heavens!

I celebrate getting more hours at work. While I hate spending so much time there, the extra money is certainly nice. And it is one step closer to getting a better position and another raise.

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
I have many things to celebrate. =)
I celebrate...
- turning 20 on 10/10/10!
- getting a signed copy of Lady Knight, by Tamora Pierce! <3
- succeeding in crutching across campus...and getting to class on time. It took me an hour, but I got there!
- finally getting to tell my Little that she's my Little! (fyi, Littles are like mentees that you help one on one and usually grow very close to, like family)
- I WALKED TODAY! =D I was still on crutches, and it was baby steps the whole way, but I've been legit walking for the past few hours! I'm so stoked.
- having absolutely amazing friends for helping me with everything this past week

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
I have many things to celebrate! First, fall break was awesome! I had a blast hanging out with my classmates and swing dancing for most of Saturday evening. I also don't have to teach this week, so I have time to get caught up on grading and to study for my next test.
And...things are going really well with me and my crush. He called me on Saturday and last night, and we talked for over an hour both times. I have so much fun talking with him, and the conversations never have awkward silences or anything. Also, we're both going home over Halloween weekend to volunteer at our old summer workplace, so we'll be spending most of the weekend together. This will be the first time I've seen him in two and a half months. He also wants to come visit me the weekend after to watch my jazz showcase. Squeee...so excited!!!!! The next 16 days can't pass quickly enough! Halloween needs to get here now!!!

That's great, Silvan! [:
Also, I celebrate returning to FOG! And getting almost straight A's on midterms. And making progress writing. And connecting with old friends as well as making new ones. And getting my priorities straight.
Life is swell. =D

That is good to hear xraineyesx, I hope your academic pursuits continue to be as successful.
Me I am celebrating a 23rd birthday and the tenth anniversary of getting into racing. I think I'll indulge in some really unhealthy food and drinks to celebrate even if I will loath working off all those calories later.
Now if only I could convince the hot waitress at the sushi bar I visit to show up for the party.

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
Happy Birthday, Hisoka! Hope you have tons of fun celebrating. And don't feel guilty; we all need a little indulgence every now and then. I usually run to the chocolate when I'm studying for days on end for a grad school exam...
I celebrate 9 days until I see my crush again. SINGLE DIGITS FINALLY!!!! I'm hitting the road next Thursday night after my evening class and making a six-hour haul back to my hometown (and probably rolling in after midnight, but that's okay). We're both volunteering at the place where we interned over the summer to help out with their Halloween programs, not to mention hanging out a lot in between the work ^_^. I have to bust my butt from now until then to make sure I get all my work done beforehand so my weekend is free, but it'll be totally worth it to see him after two and a half months.

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
So, I celebrate another lovely night out with my hubby, Abram. We had the giggles at Dobb's Diner tonight. The placemats had something to do with "Bee caps" and I edited mine so the word caps was crossed out all over it. Then we had fun reading back over so the phrases were funny. Abram struggled for 5-10 minutes through laughter to utter the phrase "Bees are food." It's the most beautiful thing in the world watching him laugh.
And then he says to me, "Now you can't be afraid of bees anymore because they're food. Unless there's a food that you're afraid of?"
I said, "Yes."
And he asks, "what?"
And I say, "Bees."

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
I know this might sound strange, but I celebrate having LESS work.
Taking the job with better pay and finally maybe having some free time that I can spend on here and with my wife.
Though this also means one of the days of work is on Sat morning...a 5 AM. -.-

Teeheehee...well, he said he needs to go light on the texting for now. He just activated the phone, so maybe he needs to wait until the new month starts for his unlimited texting to kick in? I don't really know how it all works. But yes, I will be checking my phone much more frequently now XP
