What's with all the words coming from the "big" man. I thought Jax was the one with the gift of the gab. Philisophical too. Who could ask for anything more. He must have quite the stick wedged up his butt not to see the humor in all of this. Almost tempted to give the silly face Ando gives baby Parkman as he spills his feelings

And yes, I would prefer the more sophistocated outcry of your persona to be "Darke no kick Jack ass." I find the concept far more appealing.
Besides you are outspoken enough. No need for you character to follow suit.

The guy is a shaman. He is not a stupid brute. His size is not a mark of his "brawn over brain" philosophy, but of his race. He is a vindy, a type of human(oid?) much larger than the average man, yet more connected with nature.

Vindy are originally a race of desert folk that the Riv'nar Kingdom tried to wipe out.. like a few decades ago. They have the innate ability to connect, communicate, and manipulate nature through their druidistic and shamanistic powers. The Vindy are actually divided into two separate communities. One is the more shamanistic society that have many rituals involving nature and the other is druidistic society that often encompass the complicated relationships between civilized societies and wilderness. All vindy have the ability to transform into a wolf-tiger hybrid creature that can rip people to sheds. In this transformed animal form the Vindy can't cast, channel, summon or other wise in any form use magic.

I do hope that sheds some light on the Vindy race.

EDIT: Posted. I think from now on I'm going to bold my dialogue. It's getting hard for me to read my own dialogue that I write up after it is posted. Plus, I think it's just easier to read if it's bolded. I feel stupid for not doing it sooner.

I found it amusing. Nothing like poking the bubble with a sharp stick. It was that very subject that started us down this path I found it poetic.

I can't wait to see how Amelia responds.

Are we planning to break camp soon? This little sabatical has been highly entertaining and all but isn't there a story in here somewhere? It seems we have been in camp for a month real time. For a short overnight stopover it now seems like we are setting up residence. It is like watching a Disney DVD and following through the countless previews.As an enthusiastic young acrobat I know would say.

"And NOW our feature presentaion."

Actually they only been in camp for like half the afternoon. There still is like a couple hours before the thunder storm passes over them and rumbles at them in darkness. I think it would be best for everyone to get their character to sleep.

Posting to say yes, I'm still here, and I've been a little slow because of the RP's pace too. As well as a conference.

Unless I have permission for a timeskip, all I can think of posting is Magus & the voices' commentary on party infighting. And even then I'd only be adding that he'd probably request first watch, at least partly because he and Zephyr were the only ones not to openly take sides for or against the new guys. If I'm reading the posts right, at least.
