Well, my post is short...but I can't really do much with where I went with it. Not without a response from Jax. I tried to keep Darke's reaction true to the character's nature. It seemed fitting at the time that I wrote it, but if anyone thinks he wouldn't act that way, please let me know. I haven't really had a chance to play any serious parts with Darke yet, as I came in after the goblin battle.

That's okay. I'm trying to debate whether I should let Jax's rightful owner post or not or even wait until Alpha posts. I'm guessing it's a good idea for me to post and what not.

Sorry that I didn't get that summary for you guys. I will at some point though for Chapter 2 and 3. For the rest of this chapter, everyone is probably going to just chit-chat, relax a little, and then continue their journey to Soryin's castle the next day, find a way into it, and then kill the son of a bitch. That's all I had planned for the rest of this chapter. So if you guys have any suggestions of what else there would be then by all means let me know.

What do you guys want to do with Raine now? I don't think Denyala has the free time to post right now. Should we keep the character open or what? Typically, I would simply remove her from the character and have it open to play, probably by one of you, and put ((Archer Available!!)) in the RP's title. She is a pretty good RPer so I don't want to really lose her, however, it happens and the show must go on.

What do you guys want to do about this? I say, leave her name on the character for a while longer and let Ryona continue to play the character while Denyala is dealing with real life issues.

I don't mind keeping up with it, but I really don't have a great feel for her character so I doubt I'll be making any mind-boggling posts with it.

Why don't we give Denyala a month (I messaged her on Sept 6th, and she hasn't been online since then. So, Oct. 6th?) and if she's still not back, we look for a new RPer to take her place.

I'm with you, I don't want to lose her, but if she's not online then we kind of already have lost her...

Alright, that sounds like a great idea. I didn't want to rush into just cutting her from the RP if she is taking care of the family. I respect people to much on family things to get mad at her for it. Family first, then RP.

I don't think everyone else will mind since you posted first about this. I know what you mean by not getting a good feel for Raine. I myself couldn't play that character. Eternity might be able to, but I have plans with that young lady in the RP and she already had asked me if it was possible. I won't ruin the surprise.

A month? I guess that could work. I'll give her until October 6th. I much rather not lose her though and I don't typically wait on people this long. I think all of you that were in the RP from the beginning remember Emo Endurance and how he pissed me off with slow posting. Even when he posted, they sucked harder than Andy Dick. So I don't want to lose someone that actually can write a pretty cool paragraph and not fluff it up with bullshit.

Yeah, I can wait until October 6th.

Not like Jax is going to win or anything foolish like that. Let's make this event more interesting by placing it ib a venue where he can use his balance and agility to his advantage. That and skip the unweildly sword. I assume it is a long sword. He would be more apt to use a short blade or dagger. ven a long stick. He can juggle but he will be as awkward as hell when it actually comes to swordplay.

I shall return Monday.

Silvone is right. I had instigated the skirmish and he only reacted to what I put in front of him. Like it or not he had the choice of betraying your order or to have been made a "fool" by a mere performer. One must assume pride got the better of him as he chose to fight for his honor.Now I am afraid poor Jax will pay the price of his actions against one who possesses little in the humor department. Am I able to respond or does Fredrick want to get in his two cents

If you like, I can wait until you both post. Kalon probably is watching closely at what is unfolding so I would expect a post from him in the next day or two.. maybe three. It almost would seem fitting if Kalus did break them up though instead of the prince.

Typically, a member of a royal family get rather annoyed or pissed if they are ignored by someone along the lines of a commoner or lesser noble than them. Fredric is no exception. One of his other.. bad qualities.. lol

That was the idea. Since Jax is acrobatic and can juggle, I knew he'd be able to pull off a stunt like that even if he couldn't actually wield the sword.

I like doing the unexpected. Very Happy

Once, in a role-play, I made a villain die unexpectedly fast, because it worked and because it was unexpected. Nobody guessed the ice-sword spell would actually work, going straight through his heart! xD They thought the battle would be a bit drawn out, a contest of spells, but no: I made the player's heroine stronger than she thought, and my villain, weaker. Fun fun fun.

Anyway, I hope I've handled your character well, Klikxx. Did you enjoy the rambly bits? Very Happy

I think Kalus is just watching, intrigued. Now that Klikxx is back, I'll see if I can post about it. Smile

No, I agree that it would be in-character for Fredric to get pissed at having not only his offer but his command refused and unacknowledged. Darke is being cocky and arrogant and Jax is trying to establish his own way in the group, a sort of battle of wills that leaves the two acknowledging the rest of the group. Fredric would have a right to be pissed.

Yes Kalon, I enjoyed the rants. You managed to offend just as many people as I would have in the process. I was glad you took up the challenge. I was also excited when you accepted the blade from Darke. It gave me a high note to return on.

I will try and time my post after Kalon. Don't wait for me though cause it will come in due time. The more you guys post.. the more I have an idea of how Fredric will react. He is one hell of a predictable character.. and very straight forward.

EDIT: I don't know where Alpha is.. but hopefully he will get around to reading the posts. He is pretty good at keeping uptodate in RPs and posting. So I don't think we have to much to worry about with him.
