I think it would be best that Darke be one of them. I don't see him getting out of his emo transformation over night. I think him being second shift would make sense and possibly Raine or Zephyr being the last watch shift.

Those are just my suggestions. I don't think anyone will typically care but it would be nice for those individuals to speak up so they can collaborate with you on the post through OOC or PMs.

Yeah I noticed you posted after I made my OOC comment. I don't think it matters all that much who takes the third watch. I'm not really that nit-picking with those kind of details. Things are moving along and that's totally fine with me. The actual serious intense stuff will be inside Soryin's castle.

It won't be a stroll through the park type of thing. I actually wonder if any of you even remember what he did in the first place.

Also, are we waiting on Kalon to post? Is it Alpha we're waiting on? I'm a little confused here.

Aside from that, I can't necessarily move the RP along since double posting in the RP thread would look rather sloppy and make things appear to in the category of garbage.

So I'm not sure what we're waiting on but I don't mind hearing what you guys have to say. All I can think of right now is deciding whether or not to find a replacement for Denyala. She is clearly too busy with real life things to be involved in the RP right now. She is good at filling in the role of Raine, but I have felt that perhaps it is best to leave the character open for someone else to play.

Don't get me wrong guys, she is always welcome to slip back in with a different character or something, but things do need to move on.

Currently the role of Raine has been taken over by Ryona. So, Ryona, would you like to continue playing the archer with your alchemist or would you prefer I take command of her until someone more active than Denyala comes along? I don't like.. over whelming people with the burden of playing a character they don't really want to play. It isn't fun and I rather play the character through until someone takes it over than have one of you feel really uncomfortable with the task.

So.. what do you guys want to do? Nobody has posted yet to get things moving again so I figured it was a good chance to ask what you guys want to do in the next day of the RP. Riding on horseback seems to be rather, dull way to get things started but I suppose I could do another mini-time skip if everyone agrees on that idea. I'm sure some of you are itching to get your characters back into combat, into action, and kill some psycho insane caster blaster warlock!

Yeah... I know it took me so long to post after Alpha.. Lost track of how many days I was away from the RP.. Was wrapped up in other things as well. I hate doing that to you guys and I'm sorry for doing that. But, for now let's think of what we want to do during the next RP day and then execute it.

When you say, "I don't really want to keep Raine." you mean you don't want to play the character, right? My first impression was you wanted the character to die off or something, which is a possibility but I what the character to live a little longer than 2 days in the RP.

I think once we figure out what we wanna do during the horse back ride towards Castle Dovin, we will be able to actually post some worth while stuff. I'm pretty disappointed in myself for having killed the nice momentum we had built up with postings like a week ago. That was great. I wouldn't mind bringing that back once and a while.

I suppose they would converse with one another about whatever. I can see that going on for like three or four post rotations among all of us. I could see Darke and Fredric chit-chatting about strategy, Kalus and Jax talking about stories. Amelia and Raine.. uh.. not sure there.. lol.. Magus and Zephyr probably would keep to themselves. They don't appear to be the social types nor does burning the energy of chit-chatting seem fitting with Magus being third night watch.

That's what I see them doing, but that's not necessarily what they can do. The idea is to give us enough to post about for a few days without actually needing to think so deeply into the matter. it's because right after the light chit-chatting across the meadow area (which you can check on the map) they will reach a brief area of forest, cross a river, probably rest the horses for a brief moment or two, then continue to where Soryin is.

These are my more detailed plans of what I had thought up for the remaining portion of our time getting the characters to the castle. Then we conclude the chapter by getting inside the castle and killing the psycho warlock, who knows they are coming, doesn't even care that they are, but has still put some interesting obstacles in their path.

It would seem that Jax has burst ionto song, if one could call it that. Sounds more like a cat in heat calling out to any old thing that will listen. Sorry to traumatize your eardrums but something had to be done.

I noticed you referred to a 'Magnus' in the party a couple times. The party necromancer is Magus.

Well, OK, that's an alias. He just stopped going by Joshua after he sold his soul to the Old Ones and murdered his master. If you really want, it's very possible that Jax saw Magus within the last few years, perhaps even when he was still Joshua, leading to more drama as the backstory and any other questionable deeds and sacrifices come up.

EDIT: No, wait, that would be difficult - Magus took the alias at 15, and now he's 23. Still, he's meant to have become even more like an undead since that day, so maybe Jax saw him when it wasn't so obvious. If we wanna go that route at least.

Raine is officially a NPC right now. I was going to wait for Denyala upto the 8th but I don't think a couple extra days is going to matter much. She is always welcome back into the RP.

Ryona, after we break camp in the RP, I'll be taking control of Raine. I have this scenario that I would like to play out in the RP which I think everyone will go "oh damn! he didnt!!" at and should be good. It also benefits you as well Ryona and you will understand what I mean soon enough.

I'm not sure if I should wait until others have posted or post myself. I have other RPs to post in too that I've been slacking off with and should really get around to posting or some people might get angry or something.

So I suppose I'm off to do those things.. maybe even get a surprise post in Riv'nar from someone! That would be a treat!

A) Magus supposedly already shut down the magic barrier, or maybe this is coming before that.
B) Whoever is supposed to be watching must either be extremely lazy or have a horrible sense of humor. Unless it really is supposed to be Jax at the watch, which wouldn't make much sense given the previous reasons that few would trust him. Besides one would think he would have remembered being woke to go on watch.
C) I could just have Aron the gryphon wake Kalus up, or even have Kalus wake to the singing, but I don't know anything in Riv'nar that would have red eyes, so I would have to make something up, and I don't know if anybody would appreciate that. Besides, it might just be Jax's imagination.
D) Tkwiget seems to have a plan, and I don't know if it's supposed to involve the red eyes or not. I might unwittingly mess something up.

Don't worry about the glowing eyes thing. I already talked to Klilkxx about it and know what his idea on it is for. It isn't anything life threatening to the camp. Goblin eyes don't glow at night anyways. So it isn't goblins.

You can have him wake up to the annoying noises Jax is making. It's practically in the middle of the night so.. yeah.. it's up to you. Aron could at least wake up and check to see if it is worth waking Kalus up for or not. Animals, like gryphons, tend to have more energy than humans anyways.

I'm going to assume that since no one actually took it upon themselves to call dibs on second watch, I'm thinking Klilkxx did and made Jax do it but slept pretty much through his entire shift. At least that's what I'm understanding so far.

So yeah, you can post. Even if it is just Aron waking up to find out what is going on. I do have a plan for some things and you guys probably will like it. Should help promote more posting as a result. I just don't like moving characters through fights to quickly cause that isn't realistic at all. Have to have some kind of recovery time between fights. However, with what is coming up soon that I have planned, it might prove pretty taxing on all the character's stamina.

Personally I would like to see a new post from you Kalon and from everyone else. I try to give plenty of stuff to write about and maybe I failed in that area this time. I certainly will try to do better next time but I also don't want things moving so slowly that posting something boring is more tedious than it should be. Drives the quality of the writing piece down and I don't think any of us want that.

That's fine. I've been helping my mom get through a death in the family. It's been kind of rough on her and that's why I haven't been as engaged as I should be in my RPs. I suspect that others not realize what to post so I suppose I could state the obvious.

Wake up, figure out what's going on in the camp, and start getting the horses backed for travel. Also, their morning meal is to be prepared as well. I suppose I can leave Eternity to that with Zephyr doing the hunting, again. The rest of you could probably just do the things I've listed and see where we are at that point.

Btw, happy 22nd birthday Ryona!!! Mine will be next month!!
