In other news, Sretin should be going through a pick me up soon. Deadeye is planning to join and Mojave Wanderer just read through the entire thread and has an idea for a Hyrn character. So if anyone wants to post there before they do, go ahead. I'm assuming lady is out, as she's had us waiting for months and doesn't even come online unless I post something here mentioning her. I also haven't heard from chainlinc, but I think he may be waiting for you guys (dax and plague) to post first.

Basically, the jist of what I am saying is I've found people to push Sretin forward, and I plan on doing so. Those of you who are inactive but still want to be a part of it...I sincerely hope you stick with it Wink

I'm determined to do everything I can to keep the threads I am in moving. Sretin is at a dead halt, for reasons I still am having trouble understanding for it is a great thread that needs to be pursued.

There seems to have been some confusion about what's going on with the fight and everything. We worked it out a while back, if I recall, but I think we need a review. Smile

Dax? You'll probably have the most accurate perspective.
All I know is it's somewhere around noonish, and there's a fight with ghouls and arpahov (?) on the beach.

If there was confusion, it was probably just people not knowing they had to post or simply not finding the time to do so.

If it had to do with what is going on, this is what is happening in Sretin with Romeus, Alhponse and a squad of Vatiennien soldiers: They are on the beach, responding to a boat that was going land there and to save them from the zombies around the beach. What is going to happen is that the Vatienniens are going to get to the beach, find the arpys, the arpys run will away into the forest at the sight of the zombies, they will then run into Deadeye's mercs (Ryona, he is next to post, so don't let anyone do so until he does!) and then the entire bunch will go merrily back to the city Zin.

Etc.

It's my aim to have deadeye go next, but if Lady gets on and decides to post or Mojave wants to put in his intro, I am not going to stop either of them.

I noticed crazy hobo was online...did you get ahold of him?

Pretty much. I could respond as just Alys, but it would be easier for me to wait for DeadEye and respond to both of you simultaneously. There is also the chance that Silvone may post...but I kind of doubt it. Poor guy has had too much on his plate lately.

Hey everyone,
I'm planning on posting in both Sretin and Valinyx by the end of the week. I'm planning on a simple intro in Sretin and some travel talk in Valinyx. Is it alright if I push the travel ahead by a few days? Not necessarily put us at the destination, but just move ahead by a bit. Dax and I have discussed Sretin, so there's no problem there. On a side note, I'm glad to see Emoria picking back up again. Smile

Hey everyone. Sorry for taking so long with my posts. I've been getting my butt kicked with redeployment but I will be caught up with everything before Sunday. ...Which leads me to this: we are going to Ohio for some certification class for 2 weeks. During that time I am very unlikely to have internet access (or running water for that matter) but will be back around at the end of the month.

After that I get some leave (12 days or so) and leave for Texas for another 6 weeks, during which time I will almost assuredly have internet. After all of that mess is over with, I will be back on a normal schedule. Big thanks to everyone for being patient with me!

Valinyx post is up, working on Sretin right now. I'm basically just doing an intro here, I'll leave the direction of action up to you for the next post, and collaborate with you about how to handle the situation as we go along. Again, sorry for taking so long to get this post up!

So, Sretin.

I just tossed you into a meat grinder. First proper sighting of a Lich, so feel free to react to that. Slaughter some ghouls, but we ain't in the best position, so I'm thinking one of our characters sees that the entire reason for this sortie has fled, and, possibly after managing to kill our first Lich, we haul ass back to the safety of Zin...

First and foremost, though, ACTION SCENES. KILL ME SOME GHOULS, BOYS. WE NEED TO GET SOME BLOOD PUMPING. HOLD THE LINE AS LONG AS YOU CAN.

Try not to die, yeah?

If you folks prefer something else, lemme know and I'll edit.

How do we kill a lich again? Do swords and arrows work? Do I need to bring in some priests from the city or what? i won't post in Sretin until I know what I am doing (I never do, but I want to know more than nothing for once... yah...).

Also, if no one objects, I am going to go ahead and post something else in MoN, selfishly. Razz

Liches only 'die'(they're already kinda dead in a way) when you break their soul container. It's usually inside their robes somewhere. Various things, like rocks and gems and yada yada yada. Just gotta break it. It's kinda a crap shot to long range them, so close range is your best bet.

As for how this particular lich bites it, I'm open to suggestions.
