Alright, now, after a lot of writer's block trying to figure out what the heckleblurp should happen next, I finally realized I had already inadvertently set in motion the arrival of some news about Sretin. So I went with that.
Now, I think I might have actually thrown a huge wrench in the works, so you all let me know if this is a good direction.
If we want, I can edit it so that the news comes after we leave.

Jean knows about this already. He knows, as a Senator and Priest, alot of info on the mission and state of affairs of the mission, up until he left. So he knows, of the massive reinforcements of, but doesn't know that Sretin got burnt to ash anyway. He will be surprised.

At this point Plague, it's however you want to do it. I don't mind putting off the big switch, or even you just keeping Tynir as they are and moving on with it. In fact, that seems easier than erasing a bunch of info and starting over...but that's just my two cents.

I apologize if this seems arbitrary, but I just finished reading the Sretin chapter thus far and wanted to offer up a convenience story mechanic if anyone wants/needs it.
Idona is just north of Sretin, and judging by the way things are going...there's going to be a LOT more violence before it's all over. If anyone wants to mention a hired group of Ayrens, I am completely fine with it. It would make sense for a group (or two or three) to be in the area. Considering that the Vatienne forces are currently undermanned, hiring a few mercenaries for help doesn't seem out of the question in my opinion.
Again, just an offer. It's stuff like this that makes my worldspace potentially useful.

It seems to me that if we hold true to the essence of the Sretin story, it matters not if they were hired, but if they were in the area or not during the outbreak. The essence of Sretin's dire circumstance is much like that of a zombie apocolypse; two or three groups of mercenaries are no more likely to get in or out than an entire battalion of vatienne.
That said, I still love the idea of including mercs in the story.

Vatienne, naturally, doesn't take too kindly to mercenaries, but Romeus, on the other hand, doesn't care what his superiors think. That, and he is cut off from his homeland. So, how it would pan out, Romeus would have hired as many merc groups as he could, without the army command knowing anything. Desperate times call for desperate measures, and the mercs will face some drama from the V soldiers, but nothing too intense. Just something to make things more interesting. It would most probably include Alphonse (that one was for Plague), or he can accept it, your choice, Plague. Doesn't really matter.
That settled, DeadEye, would you like to post in Sretin? Perhaps have them meet up with Romeus, Alphonse and others on the beach by chance? That would be perfect!

Kalon- My thoughts exactly. I want to see them get widespread use. It doesn't hurt my feelings if they get demolished by the caravan-load either...I made them up as a sort of token army group that is commonly used for just whatever.

As much as I'd love to just leave everything as is and just roll with it...the Tynir are woven far more into the I'nak than the I'nak were to them. The source of their existance, their hatred of gods, the reason why they're in the Marshes instead of the Jungle...Everything was tied to the Mother Species in some way. For now, the Marsh Tynir(I'm essentially planning to split the species into two 'sub-species, Marsh and Jungle) aren't going to change much, just minor tweaks with history, and all that jazz.
Jungle Tynir...need to be built. Entirely. From the ground, all the way to the tip-top. So, they're kinda what's gonna take the longest, but I need them to explain things about the Marsh, so built they must be.
As for the Mercs dealie...yeah, I'm cool with them being there. Just keep in mind the power of the swarm, and all's good. Alphonse...might have some problems with the mercs. We'll have to see when it happens(if it happens).

No worries there, I already discussed that bit with Dax. I have no problems with them being dashed to pieces against their numberless ranks. A coalition force just makes it more fun in my opinion.
As for your character's problems, bring it all out. Nobody says people have to like working with each other, even in situations as grim as this.

Okay, so here's what I'm thinking I'm going to do...
The marsh Tynir, for most intents and purposes, are done. Jungle, nowhere near. However...the jungle Tynir, as they stand, only have important interactions with me, and that will be down the road. Instead of constantly worrying about them, I'm just going to steadily work on them from now till then, and hopefully have a concise plan in mind. I've got a rough history in my mind, and I should be able to ad-lib anything I need till they're done.
Which, now that I think about it, makes my life easier, and Emoria easier. As such...I'm not going to make a war plan for the evil forces for the time being. There's no point, the war is still a good time away, and every little thing that occurs simply tosses a massive wrench into the works. Saving myself the headache.
So, for the interest of those who care...I'm going to make this little list of things I hope to work on, in the order I kinda plan to. Please remind me if I'm missing anything, I'm not perfect, and I'm forgetful.

1. Evil Forces Species Information
1a) Speak with Kalon about the Sirens and their role with the Thendari in the events of such. Also determine Siren home location, wherever it might be.
1b) Flesh out the Lich info and ghoul/undead info for easy use by Sretin players.
1c) Make everything that needs made, and make it work with everyone's expectations.
2. Tynir Reworkings
3. Get the forces of evil on track, Pester Buzzwulf and HD for a good old fashioned scheming session
4. Meyul; Totally awesome, how do I make her more involved than someone who sits in a tower all day?
5. Figure out eventual course and hopes of Worldspace, begin appropriate discussions with the proper players
