Hey! Go honesty!
We're going to grab the Healing Potion, the meals, and the gold.
That's pretty awesome. AND we have the secret password to get across the bridge. Nice!
It's... a bridge. Just like he told us. Would we like to try and cross it?

Let's take the bridge. The Knight was a nice enough guy, why turn down his hospitality?

We DO know the super secret password,!
They don't reallly seem too happy to let us go, but, ah well.
Hey, we're almost there!
Do we want to go to the harbor or city hall?

Did move to not-Rome when I wasn't looking?
On the other hand, pseudo-Latin has a nice, long pedigree of being the fantasy language of choice for everyone but Tolkien.
Anyway, go to the Watchtowerand hang out with the Justice League or go to the Red Gate and... yeah, I've got nothing witty?

Well, I may be witty, but there's not much I can do with two sentences. A brick maker needs clay to make bricks, and I need words to make snark.
Anyway, Go through the Red Door, the White Door, or the prior door?

PAPERS. WE DON'T NEED NO STINKING PAPERS! WE'RE LONE WOLF!
*ahem*
So, should we risk showing the Seal, or should we leave and try and find some papers?

Re: [Let's Play] Lone Wolf: the Gamebook!
Well, going through the red door got us a red pass. Whodathunk?
We do, in fact, have a red pass, Mr. Guard.
Hey, we have our own armed escort. That's kinda cool, but I have a feeling we're going to end up escorting them
The healing would be nice, if we weren't already a master of healing. But, hey, it's the thought that counts, right?
We got a 3, and we got jumped by the people who don't care that we're representatives of the king.
Three guesses who they're after.
Anyway, Spider Sense, Ride to Battle, or run like a little girl?

It's not like there will be anybody alive to tell of our girlish screams aside from the Helghast, whom everybody thinks are assholes anyways (thus destroying any credibility to their tales).

Re: [Let's Play] Lone Wolf: the Gamebook!
Ok, I know I was ripping on the similarity earlier, but really?
"Strength and steel will not avail us here." That's almost straight plagiarism. Oh, and all the nameless guards died. Big surprise.
Um. Magic Spear? Something that we could have used to fight them?
Way to go, guys. Missing us some sweet loot .
It's a ratfolk!
Do we want to use Animal Kinship, follow him, or ignore him?

Indeed we would. Been a while since we've been able to bust out animal kinship.

Since we just said that we want to use Animal Kinship, I'm pretty sure that we want to use animal kinship.
Hey,they're pretty nice.
They let us use the shortcut to avoid the not-Ringwraiths, gave us food, stole all our money, gave us some nice company. Wait, what?
GAH! Why is everyone stealing our stuff! We're the hero in this RPG! We're supposed to get all the loot!
Should Lone Wolf take out his frustration upon these soldiers?
Because there's been a large amount of frustration happening to Lone Wolf and very few beat-downs occurring.

Considering that there are 10 of them, plus a knight. Let's raise our hands and hope they don't decide to execute us on the spot...

Re: [Let's Play] Lone Wolf: the Gamebook!
Well, if the elite band of soldiers got their asses kicked, I guess I feel a little better about running away.
Huh, so the whole place is called the LastLands. I guess it's better than not-Middle Earth.
Oh, and that's another ruler met:
One thing I've seen in the errata is if it asks you "If you have such and such power" you are supposed to turn there if you have it.
... Ok, you know what. This makes up for the whole damn quest.
Aragorn and Andurial can go suck it. +10 CS. Yeah, you read that right. +10 CS. Double damage to undead (Including those damn Heldegast that we spent half the book running from. Total immunity to magic.
Ok, Book? I know we've had our fights, but stuff like this is why I stick around.
We're leading an armada to go break the back of the siege of our homeland. Which is now possible solely because of us.
Also, we get an awesome +5 END healing potion, which we promptly ditch a meal for by giving it to charity or something.
Alas, poor Rhygar, we knew him well...
Actually, not really, but I thought it was witty. In plot related news, the Sommerswerd is making us an even better psychic...
Oh, and:
We got a 2.
It's cool, let's get the bad rolls out during the filler...
Remember, be careful what you wish for. You just may get it...
... in the form of a giant zombie fleet bearing down upon you.
Well, that's another ship that bit the dust...
Now, with all of that out of the way...
Do we want to jump onto the enemy flagship, or abandon ship and swim to a friendly ship?
Huh, so the whole place is called the LastLands. I guess it's better than not-Middle Earth.
Oh, and that's another ruler met:

Nuh uh, not this time. I remember what happened last time we went in the drink and I refuse to get all this nifty new gear just to lose it.
To the enemy ship! We gonna kill us some damn zambies. (Yes, I intentionally replaced the "o" with an "a". It flows better that way. Plus, they get to rename LotR stuff, I get to rename Lone Wolf stuff. It's only fair.)

Re: [Let's Play] Lone Wolf: the Gamebook!
It's a zomibie crew. We roll a 5, and take 1 damage.
The zombies, however, take 28 and get swerded.
That's right. Who's the badass? We are.
Well, a zomibe smells. A zomibe ship should smell. Makes sense, right?
We lose one END, but gain one END, so moot.
Spider Sense Tingle!
Also, using spider sense let's us get back to full END.
Spider sense warns us about the Heldghast, so we get the drop on him.
Oh hai, there. Guess who's got a new kickass magic swerd? (Hint: not you.)
We roll a 4, so we take 2. Our esteemed guest takes 9x2. Leaving him with 2 END
We roll a 5, so we take 2. Mr. Helghast takes overkill almost to his entire health.
See, that's what we probably would have looked like if we had jumped.
So, what do you think we should do next?
Storm the tower? Or abandon the zombie ship?

Do we want to go after him, or jump overboard?

Welll, we get zapped.
... Not buying it?
We totally lightsaber that magic blast.
The little wizard, seeing his magical might being rendered all to naught by a man with a shiny hunk of metal, makes a run for it.
Do we want to give chase, or head back to a friendly ship?
Edit: I just noticed I'm a shadow. Neat!
