I have one written. I am just waiting to post since I have made so many posts already. Most of which are nothing but me giving background or thinking to myself.

Well, by all means, post, I guess.
I believe that it would be acceptable to do so, yes? I wait anxiously for many of your posts.

Re: Emoria: OOC
Anyone can post at any time.
Something else you guys may want to consider is what subgroup you would like to create when the council is over. HD, Silv and I have been working together (OK, so Silv and HD have been working together and Silv fills me in) on some ideas for our subgroup thread. I am thinking that 3-5 per subgroup would probably be best but I'm sure the sizes will vary with time. Therefore, if seven people want to hike to location X together, by all means go ahead. Also, if only two people want to go to location Z, that is fine too. Obviously, two is the minimum, because role-playing on your own really isn't role-playing?

Re: Emoria: OOC
How are the subgroups going to be handled in game? Like, what will be the reasoning that the council splits?
I don't know as of yet what group I would be in.

Re: Emoria: OOC
The reasoning is what we are hoping will be fleshed out during the council, but ultimately it is up to the individual what he/she wants to do.
Some examples could be scouting the mountain's of night, investigating countries who did not come to the council, searching for the kidnapped parties, starting mini-battles between enemies at the council, defending Illuria in case of attack by Morgarath, abandoning the council to side with Morgarath, investigating why the Tynir are massing arms (HD and Silv's plan for our outing)...etc.
This allots for maximum freedom of expression while still trying to reach an ultimate goal: your character's perception of Peace/Justice/Power in Emoria.
I hope this makes sense. Also, each plot does not have to be unique to one group. Many groups may be ultimately doing the same thing.

Morgarath has some sinister plans brewing, I am terribly sorry it is taking me so long to post.
I am just having a very hard time making progress with it again.

That sounds good. I was just wondering if it was something I should plan in advance or not.

@Raptorman: It's ok. It is harder when you have so much to cover.
@Bird of Hermes: Mostly it's just a good idea to be thinking about possibilities. Especially if you have an idea that is dependent upon another character, whereas you would need to hash out the details via PM. While we want ultimate freedom of expression, you also need to know the general information about where you are going/who you are going with etc.

Re: Emoria: OOC
Okay! I haven't read all of the posts that have been made in my absence, but I hope to accomplish that and post in the next two days. I just feel like I have so much to do. When I got home from Oregon, I had almost one hundred emails in my inbox, and I have just gotten through most of them.
I apologize for my slowness in advance. I hope you all are just content with your characters chatting it up for the time being.
Silvone, did you mean that when I return Saila will be taking control of the situation and deciding it's time to start the meeting, or did you mean that I would be writing up the post that officially gets the ball rolling and the meeting organized, or are both expected? If both are expected, it would be great if some ideas could be given to me for how that could be/should be accomplished.
While I'm very personally organized in real life, I'm not half as organized in group settings, so I could use some tips.

Re: Emoria: OOC
I would imagine that she would simply decide to start the meeting, acknowledging verbally the absences and then moving on to the situation at hand: the disappearances. She can either immediately state the ideas of her people, or she can ask the others in the meeting to offer their ideas and anything else they have to add.
Once that part of it is through, the meeting can, and most likely will be, expanded to include other ideas, such as the activity of the Tynir and the Mountains of Night. Following that, we will all divide ourselves into groups and go where ever it is decided it is most prudent for us to go.
It doesn't really matter in what order it happens, or that things are added or taken away. I'm pretty sure that once the actual meeting is started, things will flow smoothly enough.
Just call the room to order, acknowledge presences and absences (however you want to do that), and then immediately bring up the kidnappings to be discussed among the members. That will inevitably lead to the other things we want to discuss, and should end with us splitting into groups.
If you don't want to do it, then that is fine. I just figured it should be you since your character is native to the library, while the rest of us, with the exception of Bird of Hermes' character, are all outsiders.
Everyone can start thinking now of where they want to go and how they are going to get there. Things may come up that change plans, but it would speed things along if you already had some idea of where you want to go and who you want to go with. I do know that Hello Danger and I will likely be taking a ship to the south, though the purpose is up for negotiation. Ryona and Bird of Hermes will likely accompany us as well. Since we decided that the groups should be about 3-5 members, this makes a good size group. There can be more, or less. It doesn't really matter.
Ryona suggested that a way to keep the meeting organized would be, after you have the meeting officially start, everyone who posts after states at the beginning of their post that your character called on them. And everyone gets a single post to start out with. This way it looks as if you are calling on everyone in order for their opinions, yet we aren't forced to post in any particular order. And it keeps you, of course, from having to step in between every single post with a response and another calling.
It is, however, up to you how you decide to do it. I hope those ideas were helpful somewhat. If anyone else has any ideas, feel free to post them!

Ja'Dhannar would also be most interested in joining with that investigation, for obvious reasons.

Re: Emoria: OOC
I would like to see others ideas before I commit to being on a boat. So far the only reason my character is going with them is because she doesn't know anyone else and can't go home. By the time the meeting is over my character may have something else she needs to do. I encourage everyone to be thinking of ideas but don't set them in stone or we are going to have a hard time transitioning from the prolouge to the groups!
I hope that I make sense lol...

Well, now that I've got a deadline I'll get my arse in gear. Kathryn, I ask that you please wait for me and plague to post before you start the meeting. I will be working on it today and tomorrow and will get it up.
I'm sorry it has taken me so long, everyone. I've been rather stressed out lately and its been affecting everything I do.

Re: Emoria: OOC
I'm all for planning thing OOCly, that gives an idea of where we're going with the RP, but (yeah, there's always a but) shouldn't this be discussed by our characters? Myself, I am still not certain where Perun should go, once he hears some of these ideas proposed, he would no doubt weigh each of them and chose for himself.
Just sayin'.

Re: Emoria: OOC
It will be. I am hoping that these things will come out naturally through the characters during posting. It will help by bringing up one issue at a time, so that everyone can give their opinion, and then perhaps having a massive discussion at the end. Through these discussions each character would decide where they want to go, even if it is already decided beforehand in the OOC. And perhaps you might even change your mind during the posting. Who knows...
But, yes, I would like to wait for Shadow Moonseye and Plaguewalker to get their posts up before we actually start. No reason to leave anyone behind.

Re: Emoria: OOC
Immortal Sin won't be posting for a while, though I don't think she is out for good. She may come back in later on. We aren't waiting on her though. Elric, I think, might be gone for good. He left for a while, stating that he lost his muse and attributing it to Emoria...and since he has come back he hasn't posted here. We aren't currently waiting on him, and he may not come back at all.
Sighlent...I don't know. She claimed to still be in Emoria, but her last post was quite a while ago in the OOC, and I'm tired of waiting for her. She has not expressed interest in a few months, so she can post whenever she feels like it. I won't hold up the role-play for her.
So, unless I'm mistaken, it is just Shadow Moonseye and Plaguewalker that we are waiting on.

Silvone, nope. I'm glad to do it. I just wanted to make sure I had everything clear and certain in my mind before I actually went ahead with it, so I wouldn't have to worry about making a massive error in judgment.
I really like the idea that everyone mentions my character having called on them to make their thoughts and ideas and concerns apparent. It is a big help to me as a poster, and I'm sure it's much less stifling that way.
Shadow, don't worry. I had every intention of waiting for you two. ^^_^^
