Things are starting to look up for me and I got loads of time on my hands, should continue for the next month or so. Needless to say, I'm anxiously waiting another round of posts. I still don't want to commit my character to anything, as I think that is best decided during the meeting. Still if the "guiding hand" of the GM needs to be called in, it's understandable.

I suppose we are still waiting on some introductions, but perhaps we should just allow others to begin discovering in character what they wish to be doing. The introductions can come in whenever the poster feels ready.

*chuckles* i feel ya. I've been waiting more than a month to be introduced in the story. I'm sure Silvone's working hard, however, and i'm not complaining. I'm just excited to get the ball rolling with him- and with the rest of you in the future.

Though it's tough when there's so many people involved to keep things on the ball, eh?

Anyone can post at any time in terms of setting up where you want to go for Chapter 1. I know Dax had an idea as did Silvone, plus there is already the dark council, but any one else who doesn't want to follow these paths should make their own.

I believe Raptorman is waiting to see if Emoria lives or dies before he posts. He mentioned something along those lines in chat a few weeks back.

As far as my post, I don't know if I'll actually make one or not, I'll get with Plague and see what he want's to do.

I'm just waiting for the kidnapping posts to be up so I can start on a post. I haven't been reading the recent ones due to too much stuff on my plate. (it's my own fault for getting involved in too many things, but there it is)

As for this RP living or dying, it's up to the people who post in it. ^^ Don't wait for it to live or die -- we need everyone to help it live.

Since all I am getting is heresay at this point, if he doesn't post by the time we've finished the council, I'll assume he is out for good.

I'm not letting this die, even if the council never finishes, my character will move on to the next continuous role play that I, Hello Danger and Silvone have planned. So...if people want to be in this, keep posting, and if you are sick of it, leave. I really don't care at this point.

The only reason I'm unsure if I'll post an introduction or not is because A) Tusoe speaks little to no common and B) if I do post I'll need some heavy collaboration with Plague and its hard to get good writing time in with him due to his crazy scheduale.

I can take raptorman's stuff if he doesn't feel like doing this RP anymore... I'm an OK evil player, if I do say so myself, but I'd really rather he showed up again. I haven't seen him on IM in a while either, and it's sorta worrying me. He knows way more about what Morgarath is planning than I do, so I'm deferring to him on this thing.

I'm glad to see that a majority of the players are still interested in continuing. I PM'd Raptorman recently about his lack of commitment, including Emoria, and I didn't receive a definite answer. By the time we finish the council meeting, if he hasn't posted I'm taking the character of Morgarath from him and giving it to someone more willing to partipate. I would like to either make it a character that isn't controlled by anyone in particular, though if it should be controlled by someone in particular I nominate Buzzwolf. His character is the closest to Morgarath at this point.

I don't want to just count Raptorman out... He has put a lot of effort into the character. But if he isn't willing to put in the same effort as everyone else, it just isn't fair to let him hold us up. Like I said, he has until the end of the council meeting, however long that takes, to make a post. If it doesn't happen before then, or if he states himself that he no longer wants to be a part of Emoria, than the character is going to someone else, or the group as a whole.

As for the council meeting: I haven't read the latest few posts...I need to do some catch-up reading. So I don't really know how far along we are in the meeting. I believe we are waiting on just Deadeye, and possibly Shadow Moonseye? That means the council will be wrapping up pretty soon.

As far as introducing Spectre into the story, I'm working on that post. I haven't actually started yet (tangibly) but it won't take me long once I sit down to do it. I know where I am going with it, for the most part. I will be making a new Chapter 1 thread for it, likely titled Valinyx. All events taking place in Valinxy for chapter 1 should be placed in that thread. Again, if we have a very specific event involving many characters and nations in the area, or any other area, we can make a mini-thread for it (i.e. major battles involving 3 or more nations). Once I post, we can expect a new player!

I also think we had introduced two other players, but I don't know their status... I think Ryona knows more about that than I do, since they contacted her. I would love to hear from them though, if they are still interested. Once the council meeting is over, there is nothing holding back new players who are interested in joining the role-play.

Oh, sorry you guys haven't heard much from me. I'll try to be more active this summer.

Yo, my comrades of Emoria. This is Plague, reporting in from his brand new personal laptop of awesome. Suffice to say, It's mine, I love it.

As for the pressing business, I believe the sudden influx of posting will convince raptor of life. I'll speak with him next time I catch him on chat.

As for the two new folks, I know for a fact wakeangel is currently holding off on development, as she raised concerns about the RP actually surviving. Since we have seen the aforementioned influx of posting, It might soothe her worries. I'll speak at her and find out.

PS - my new laptop has an odd key layout, and it's messing with me. Lemme know if I make any glaring errors. I have to relearn all over again!

Sitting and waiting around to see if anyone is going to post is NOT a great way to keep an RP alive....be a little more proactive.
