Well, this new activity is really all just great. I'm glad that we seem to all be coming back for summer. That's probably the busiest time for RPs anyway, so it's awesome that everyone seems to have poked thier head out of the sand.

I'm up for the work if you guys don't think raptorman's coming back, but like I already said, I really want to try to contact him before we phase him out. I'll shoot him an e-mail tonight asking if he's still in.

The only problem I can foresee with the council is that they need to actually make a consensus about how to proceed with the problem. I'm really looking forwards to the next few days, though (or months, hopefully).

I am still here I have had rather limited internet access this last week and so have been unable to post or reply here. I don't have a computer right now and so am replying here on my iPod.

Rest assured when I get my computer back at the end of the week I will be working on a post for the thread.

I do very much like this thread and when I said I was waiting to see if there was any life in the chat I had merely been speaking of the time when there hadn't been a single post in a week in any thread in the section.

Danger I am still waiting for you to send me the pm with your evil council post stuff in it so I can incorporate it into the council entry post.

I managed to get my dad to give me 5 minutes on his computer now and so am just addressing a few things right now.

I will get my computer back on friday and should be able to post soon after that, it might take a day or two after I get my computer back though, I have a few other posts to write up as well. But this is near the top of the list to get done.

Pretty Much Really Important so Pay Attention

We should probably make some formal rule in terms of claiming next post. I think that if someone claims they will post next and don't post within say....two days or so, others should not worry about jumping in. If we sat around waiting for anyone who's ever said they would post and didn't (this includes me!!!!) we would never get anywhere! If everyone is OK with this, I'll post it up in the information thread. Actually, I might mass PM everyone...

Also, for those who were aware that we were considering a second race for Raptorman, I would like you to know that we have decided against it, for this primary reason which shall apply to all members, current and future:

While we allow more than one character per race, and we recognize that in the creation of the worldspace there are sometimes many species that are created, we are not going to allow anyone to have two seperate worldspaces concurrently. The only exception being when a person must take over a worldspace that has been abandoned. Even so, this should be a minor character and not a major character.

However, should Morgarath be destroyed (and for the survival of Emoria, I think we eventually hope this will happen) Raptorman will be allowed to create this new race, considering that his previous active worldspace will have been destroyed.

I hope that I didn't break that rule in placing intelligent races in the Earth, Fire and Water Planes. I don't intend on making any major characters myself from those races. I just needed them there so that those places could be represented by my character in the council.

I think as long as you are only playing one race, and allow future members access to these races and the ability to sculpt them (which it seems you have in regards to Lumeus and the Fire plane) I see no problem.
