Re: Emoria: OOC
wait... no I'm not! xD
How about this:
Constructive Corrector's Corner
Kathryn, I noticed in your last post that you have 'Prequendë' instead of 'Perequendë,' up near the top.
There was also a misspelling of Jean de Poitiers. I believe it's 'Poitiers,' with an /s/, not 'Poitier.' =3
Re: Emoria: OOC
Bah! Thank you, Kalon. The first one was just a typo, and I ignored it because Word has all Quenya listed as misspelled. :: sighs :: I really should add it to the list of properly spelled words. I should probably also add the names and things of others to better keep myself from doing this all the time.
Was this latest post the only one in which I misspelled names and words? If anyone ever notices things like this in any of my posts, please, don't hesitate to let me know. It's always appreciated, and telling me straightforwardly will likely ensure that I remember it better.

Yay! I posted!
There's a lot of information in there, so please let me know if anything conflicts -- particularly the things I mentioned about Spire/Aendrel relations.
Edit:
I KNEW I was forgetting something. Kathryn! Your character icon is missing from your last post!

Keep up the good work everyone! I'll try and toss up another post before Plague and Moon get theirs up. Then...the council! *Squee*

Thank yew, thank yew.
Honestly, though, it took me forever. I feel kinda bad about that. If I'd responded earlier, I could have gotten more interaction in before the council started up. I even had it written for a few days, and then got distracted and didn't actually type it up.

Boy, Corbina sure feels sorry for herself. Anyway, just thought I'd give everyone something else to talk about. "OMG SHE LIKE TOTALLY LEFT THE COUNCIL ROOM!"

I was going to do something similar, although I wasn't planning on having either of my Ayrens leave the room to do it. It was going to be an in-character introduction to part of the Ayrens inherent warrior trait, which I described in my update character sheet. I think I am still going to follow through with it, but I will do some much-needed light-shedding on Nilus and the Ayre as a whole; my people seem a little flat in comparison to other races, and it will certainly enrich the post I'm making.
Hurray for simple solutions to complex issues!!

Yea keep doing whatever you were planning to do! I don't think your culture is flat at all. My character is certainly one dimensional at the moment, but gives room for growth.

Fair enough. I will make my post when I get off of work. I'll have the better part of the evening to work since I am off on Saturdays.

Re: Emoria: OOC
Great posts everyone!
Dax, just to let you know Plaguewalker is going to step in between you and me before I can answer you. It will be kind of neat to let the offer hang out there for a while, like a sneaky little temptation for her to think about
I just wanted to let you know that so you didn't think I just ignored you or something. Plague and I were sort of working on a post and this is our way of incorporating it.
Again, AWESOME posts everyone! I love reading this RP so much!

Re: Emoria: OOC
Alright! So, hours of work later, I finally got me and Plague's posts up!
One important thing to note is that when our characters are speaking in italics that means they're speaking in their native language, and as such shouldn't be understood by anyone else.
Also, Plague will be doing some minor edits sometime today(since its day now for me (yay no sleep!)) as I wrote the tail end of my post after he went to bed.
And...I think that's it. I'm gonna go collapse in bed and get what sleep I can now.

Yay! We got the gang all together (or so I think)! Very nice intros and excellent work with the collaboration.
Is it permissible if Ja'Dhannar understood the basics of your language due to the history and relationship of our nations?

Re: Emoria: OOC
Hm...I'm gonna say very basics. It is a very complex language, being a solid mix of verbal and non-verbal communicate. So, he probably knows enough to say hello and maybe a few words here and there, but overall he can't really hold a conversation. If that makes any sense. If not, I'm sorry. I just woke up and am kinda rambling and stuff. May go and pass out fer a bit longer. Dunno yet.
Re: Emoria: OOC
That's fine, I wasn't planning on having him speak it apart from greetings and simple phrases used by the traders; rather, he keep an ear out for words such as "attack", "kill", and other such threatening phrases learned while at war with the Tynir.

It's the kind of love that just...smothers you with a pillow while you sleep, or slips arsenic into your morning coffee, telling you it's sugar.
