Re: 50 Book Challenge!!!
I can't help you in that area. There are days when I can't find parking when I go to the library because it's so packed, and there are a few different places to buy used books. =3
Maybe you can utilize Google to find some?

Re: 50 Book Challenge!!!
I just tried to look but there wasn't anything listed, used at least. I do know that there is one store in town that wasn't listed online, at least there was one. In this economy, places disappear faster than they appear, so I won't hold my breath. There are a few of Silv's books that I can make myself read if nothing else. I can't afford to be picky if I want to finish!
I am craving that wizard detective series...I forget what it is called all of the sudden.

Re: 50 Book Challenge!!!
The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher? It's such a good series based on the few books I've read. ^*_*^
I bet your library has it if you can't get it in any other way. I mean... even if you can't own the book, reading it without owning it is better than never experiencing it, right?

Re: 50 Book Challenge!!!
I think I wouldn't be too proud to borrow the Dresden files (and yes, you are right, by the way, lol). They are an easy read (in my opinion, anyway) and I should be able to finish them before due. I must plan a trip to the library!

Re: 50 Book Challenge!!!
I agree. They were really fast and easy for me, too. I just haven't gotten the chance to read the other ones, and it's been long enough that I don't even remember how far I got in the series...

Oh. I guess I've only read the first two... XD

Congratulations, Sunwolf! I'll be sure to edit the first post to show that you've completed your goal. The others who have completed their goals are also at the bottom of the first post.
Would you like to lengthen your goal, or would you like to start fresh, or would you prefer to just be satisfied with your accomplishment?

Sweet deal. Do you want to make a new post with your list, or do you want to just clear your current list and start over?

Re: 50 Book Challenge!!!
I updated this and am at 24/25 books. I am going to try and read the last book...not sure what it will be yet. I got a great book for christmas from Silvone but it is a tough read, I might still try and do it though.

Well, I think it would be most sensible to probably make a new post with your new list. That way, if people want to look at your old list to see what you read or something, it'll still be there. ^^_^^

I think maybe I'll join the fun this year.
I don't know about 50, though. Maybe 24... two for each month. ^_^

*Cracks knuckles and neck*
I will do this. It should be easy considering if I have nothing to do, I can reasonably pull off a four or five book day. Hmm, it's time to reread my library....

Elric, please edit your post to include how many books you've completed. It can be as simple as 0/50 or something along those lines. It helps me a lot when people have that somewhere in their list.

I feel so out of place. I started in the middle of the year, unlike the rest of you apparently.
I am, however, making progress for once. I'm reading This Side of Paradise by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Love The Great Gatsby so much that I decided I had to read the rest of his stuff.

Thanks!
I've debated on that, and decided that no, I won't be starting anew. While I thoroughly enjoyed the contest, its not something I feel like keeping up with again.

Finally finished reading book 2 of the Wolf series, starting on book 3 some time today. =)
Calling major shenanigans though because I just discovered that there are apparently six books in this series and...I'm pretty sure I only own four of them. >.> I thought there were only four.
