Re: 50 Book Challenge!!!
Finished book 14~.
Returning to Michael Scott's series. I'm finding myself surprisingly disinterested in rereading the first two books of the series, but I don't want to run into the third book without being able to remember most of what's happened so far... Hm. We'll see how I do.

Re: 50 Book Challenge!!!
I just finished another book and am about to commence the third. I am making slower progress than I thought I would but that second book was kind of repetitive and almost textbook-ish.
Oh, and I have a question. Do plays count as a 'book'? If not, no problem. I can definitely see how they wouldn't, but I am in love with Shakespeare so I wouldn't mind reading some Shakespeare as part of the challenge.

I don't see why they shouldn't. I counted Equus and Midsummer Night's dream i think.

Re: 50 Book Challenge!!!
Thanks. I don't see why not either. Shakespeare's plays are often the equivalent of a novella. And personally, I think the archaic language makes them more challenging to read, which is more time consuming for me than reading a book that I understand the first time I read a sentence. But I wanted to double check before I counted them.

Re: 50 Book Challenge!!!
Plays definitely count. They're not as fast and as simple as comic books or mangas. They're more text than pictures, and that makes them worthy of being a part of the challenge.

Re: 50 Book Challenge!!!
It took me long enough, but I finally finished another book, #13. I would definitely suggest World War Z to anyone with even a passing interest in zombies, journalism, or the essential nature of modern day humanity.
I'ma gonna go update my list now.

Re: 50 Book Challenge!!!
My book count rises to 18! Finished all three of Scott's books, and can't wait till the fourth comes out in paperback (maybe next year, haha...)!
Currently reading book two in Kristen Britain's Green Rider series. I would have started with book one, but unfortunately I can't find it, but hey, I've already read it multiple times, and I remember most of it. I'm really into this book right now, and once I'm done with it, I'll finally get around to reading book three!

Re: 50 Book Challenge!!!
Finished book 20. So mad at it. >.> Freaking thing ended in a huge cliffhanger. But I suppose it redeems itself because the next one is apparently coming out in February. Yet another fantastic book in the series, by the way.
I've now started rereading Sing the Four Quarters, by Tanya Huff. It's the first book in a 'series' (ish) of four (...ish).

Re: 50 Book Challenge!!!
I just finished Pirate Latitudes, book seventeen for me. It was really a good book, far better than I was expecting it to be. The beginning is a bit slow, but very well written and extremely detailed.
The book is historical fiction, and was discovered as a full manuscript in Michael Chrichton's files after his death.

Re: 50 Book Challenge!!!
Welcome to the challenge! I've added you to the first post. Please, place how many books you've read somewhere in your list. It would most logically be in your benchmarks.
