I echo Sunwolf's sentiments. The posts have all been great! I'm currently in major study mode because my comprehensive oral exams are on Friday, and I need to pass those to become a full master's candidate and actually get to start on my research. Needless to say, role-playing will have to wait until after that, assuming I pass. And then my weekend is quickly getting booked because I have a friend's wedding on Saturday and I'll be spending most of my extra free time with the guy I'm dating.

Sorry for the short post but as Owen is still thinking about how he killed his brother again. Mostly he is shell-shocked and not up to doing much of anything let alone thinking. Couldn't do too much with that.

Oh I don't know, Sun. I can see him interacting with the others, maybe under their breath conversations about what they think they can do when the arrive at the 'trap' or how they don't trust T'yang. Keeping Owen so isolated emotionally is limiting you too much, I think.

Whew...I'm finally getting around to catching up on all my role-plays. Plague, I hope you didn't mind that I had Tal shove Eri onto Darren's back. I left it open in case you wanted to add some dialogue, but if it messes up anything you had planned for your post, just say the word and I'll change it.

Alright, now that everybody is awake and on the move, did you want to play a round or two associating with one another or fast forward to setting up camp for the night? There is no outside intervention between those points, so elements of interest would need to be generated among character interactions.

For Viemera Portraits:

Everyone, please decide amongst yourselves whether you all want sprites from FE9 or FE10. FE10 has higher quality art and it's what I've been using, but I wanted to let you know that the FE9 ones are good too if you guys want. Just letting you know the option's there, and it works just as well. Smile

Please explore the characters and see what elements you think would be best for your characters. Ryona and I are planning to collaborate like we did on Spectre's portrait for Emoria. Very Happy

If you post your descriptions and directions in the portrait studio, we'll see if we can't get them done sooner rather than later. ^_^

May I ask a couple of questions, Kalon?

Do you want us as a group to decide if we all get sprites from FE9 or FE10, or is it okay if some of us find sprites that are better in one game as opposed to the other? Also, I may have found a sprite that works for Eri, but the hair covers one of her eyes. Are you able to fiddle with that and give her both eyes? And how much are you able to tweak the clothes and whatnot? Like, take something from one sprite and put it on another? I just want to make sure I'm not asking for something that's too much trouble or impossible. Not that I doubt your mad skills, of course - I love the work you've done on other people's characters! cheers

Kalon may be responding to this, but if not I will:

You can choose from either or, but some are in both, so if there is one you like in 9 it might be in 10 as well. There is more fluidity if you choose all from the same version.

Chances are, we can make her have two eyes, but it really depends. The hair might not look right or something like that. It is easy to put a head on another body, unless one has an abnomral posture, and it is easy to alter the colors of anything. What is hard to do is create pieces that aren't there (change this long sleeve to short sleeve, make a corset instead of armor, stuff like that) and it is especially hard for me to change facial expressions (ie make her eyes smaller, more almond, make her frown, make him have facial hair).

Anyway, hope this helps.

Thank you so much for the information, Ryona! Turns out the sprite I like is in both FE9 and FE10. I prefer the FE10 version, but I could easily switch to either version if everyone else prefers the FE9 sprites.

If it's all right, I'll go ahead and post a description in the portrait thread. If we end up deciding as a group to go with FE9 sprites, I can easily make a couple of tweaks to the description because the outfit isn't that different.

Reproducing eyes is Not A Problem.
You're talking to the one who used to make the faces look like the actual people. ^^ I do pixel art as well as all this other stuff, so faces are in the bag. Wink

So yeah, by all means, feel free to go into high detail on the faces. On that at least, I can promise made-to-order perfection. Thumbs Up

Alright, finally got a continuing post up. Silvan, I took small liberties from your character since I assumed her responses would fit. If not, let me know.

Muse and Silvan, shoot me a PM when you are ready to begin working on your post. I have to explain the letter's contents to Muse and do a little collab with Silvan in regards to instructing her how to work the healing. Feel free to work on character interactions in the meantime since I left a little filler space between.

Aaaaand...I just posted. Whew...my fingers are smoking after that one! I've been keeping count in my Word document, and I'm up to 40 posts! WOOT! So in honor of that, get ready for a long one! I actually didn't mean for it to turn out that long, but I got on a tangent with Eri's little meditation at the beginning and then had to have some fun with the healing part. Loki, I hope I did okay writing that part and did Tsume's character justice. Thanks for letting me control him!

As for that part at the end, I've been itching to write that forever. Hehehehe...poor Eri... Twisted Evil

You did an excellent work. I don't know if it was intentional, but you colored the difference between Tsume and Eri's methods very well. Tsume gains power from routine and focus while Eri seems to draw it from her emotions and experiences. Very very nice. Very Happy

Anyway, thought I'd get a quick reply post up while my muse was into it and before I left for vacation. I'm going to be away from tomorrow afternoon through Sunday. Feel free to wake up Eri if any of you want to do any character interaction or just have her wake up in response to something happening, like if Raewyn has another emotional outburst after reading whatever is in that letter (I'm so curious!) or anything else exciting.
