Another great post, Quaker! Geez, I was on the edge of my seat again! I wonder how Jake is going to get rid of his primal side this time...

Wow, it looks like the fights are starting to wrap up now, and I still haven't started my next post for Arina. I have a friend coming into town for the weekend and I have 60 student papers to grade before then so I can actually spend time with him, so the earliest I can start a post is Sunday. I'll write it so that Plague's next post for Tal can end with Arina fleeing. Sorry again for the delay!

EDIT: Aaaaaand...my weekend plans just failed spectacularly because, due to circumstances beyond my friend's control, he can't come visit now. Looks like I'll be able to get to that post sooner than expected. Um...yay, I guess?

EDIT 2: Just posted. This one felt a little more forced because I've been in a funk all day, but hopefully it still turned out okay. Plague, you can take the rest of the fight from here and have Arina flee in your next post for Tal. Have fun!

Alright, Sun has given us permission to control Owen in his absence and Plague has handed control of Branom to Muse since he was struggling to get the character to work. As a means of making things progress more smoothly, Sun's previous IC post was revised to allow for a simplified progression of the battle that would take less posts while still maintaining the quality we have all come to love for this RP.

Hey, guys, I'm really sorry I've been so inactive for the past...I don't even know how long. Plague and I are working on a co-post for the Tal/Arina battle, and sadly I've been slacking on my end due to exams and being out of town. I promise I'll get back on the ball and write up my portion either today or tomorrow so he can wrap up the post and we can continue with the story.

Fantastic post! Comrade Silvan loved all of Darren's rampaging awesomeness! So does this conclude all of the fights now? Are we finally going to see what the bad guys want with poor Loki? Can all the king's horses and all the king's men put our battered party together again? I sure hope so!

The leyline battles are officially over, save for the wrapping up a few unfinished circumstances. I have most of today free and plan on having a post up by the end of the night as long as I am able to confer with a few players regarding their character's situation.

Very nice work everybody, I love how this chapter turned out and am very excited to show you what happens next in our adventure. Wink

Wow, way to drum up a super-long awesome post, Loki! I'm glad all the characters are out of the woods in terms of serious injuries. I can't wait to see what happens next in the story because I sure have no idea how the group is going to keep Raewyn safe and get Loki back at the same time.

Also, I'm probably going to hold off on posting until a couple more people post, mainly because Eri will probably be unconscious for a while and will wake up to a most unpleasant surprise that her student has been kidnapped. I'd like to see what a couple other people write first to see if that gives me anything to go off of to work Eri back into the story.

Alright, so we have Quaker's and my posts up with Muse waiting for the rest to get theirs up.

Since the characters of Plague, Silvan, and Sun are currently unconscious you have the option of either stirring awake at present or jumping to when camp has been set up. There is no post order, so you three don't have to wait on one another. Since Quaker got his post up, Eri should have enough to react to since his character is interacting with her.

Let's try to keep the sudden burst of momentum going. Smile

I'll have Eri wake up at camp all confused and disoriented. As a sidenote, I'm pretty slammed with work this week. I have mock oral exams on Monday and am also practicing for a dance showcase on Sunday, so I may not be able to post until after my mocks on Monday. The others should feel free to not wait for me and go ahead and post if they so desire/have time.

Since Eri is undoubtedly going to want to know where Loki is upon noticing his absence, would it be all right if I controlled Tsume just a little bit to explain to her what happened and keep her from rushing off half-injured on a crazy suicide rescue mission?

It met the length requirement for Casual RPs and it helps to progress the story while contributing to your character's development. Nice post and glad to see you're been keeping up.

On another note when Owen/James wakes up he wont be talking to anyone. So if we do some sort of transition make sure you note his absolute silence even if spoken to.

I loved your post, Plague! I think the word I'm looking for is "sweet." It was a wonderful insight into Tal's caring, compassionate side when he was comforting Raewyn.

I'm fine with either option, Loki. Normally this would be the time where Eri would slip away for some alone time to collect her thoughts and maybe be a little emotional away from the group, but she's obviously in no physical condition to move anywhere fast. Hopefully there will be another opportunity for some character interaction/development once everyone is recovered?

I agree nothing more that night would happen other than flat out exhausted sleep. You can assume T'yang keeps watch and/or tries to talk to Tsume.
