No worries, Sun. I figured it would only be a matter of time until you returned. It is a holiday weekend afterall, so I won't be expecting much activity in the forums until next week. I will be leaving tomorrow afternoon to visit family and I won't have a internet connection until I return on Sunday. However, I'll have my post up tonight as well so that you all at least have the option to post during the holiday weekend.

Yeah, I haven't been around much the past couple of days either. I had plans yesterday that took out my entire evening, and my computer was in the shop today getting the DVD drive replaced. I can't wait to see what posts you guys write up tonight! I'll be with family on Saturday, but other than that my schedule is pretty open.

Well, for better or worse there it is. I was a bit tired and I finished dinner while writing it (started at 11:30 so yeah long day). Yeah little busy but anyway finished it while watching Scrubs and relaxing (ah nightcaps and by nightcaps I mean a beer after my beer with dinner)

Muse, feel free to take control of Tsume and head back to camp.

Sun, if you don't intend to have Owen react harshly towards Raewyn's actions, let me know and I'll change my post accordingly.

Hopefully I have given you a little fodder to make another post. After another round or two, we'll be heading into a small village where sun will be flushing out Owen's backstory to the group.

Wow. My post sucked... I am going to fix that as soon as I can. You can tell my dyslexia was bothering me by how many freaking times I used the 2 character's names. Sigh. I knew I shouldn't have written that but I can now use it as an outline and make it better. Sorry about that but I wont change what happened and it will fit better with Loki's post.

Posted! That was a fun one to write. Once I got started, I just couldn't stop until my muse was happy. I felt like playing with font colors for some reason at the beginning of my post, so I hope it doesn't cause eye cancer or something

And Sunwolf, don't worry if you thought your post sucked. I read the first version this morning while still half-asleep, so if you made any minor errors, I can assure you that I didn't notice

Oh yeah, and we're up to four pages and 90 posts now!!!! PARTY!!!!!

Ok perfect opportunity for me to drop one of the bombshells I have been saving. I am working on a post right now so it would be awesome if you post leave all the characters at the camp after dinner. Owen/James has got something to say.

Edit: Ah anther late night post. At least this one turned out better than my last one. I didn't really mean to post so fast but I figured this would be a perfect spot to start easing in some of the back story for Owen/James. Plus it makes for great posting fodder on top of the great stuff provided by Loki and SilvanArrow. So yeah I can't wait to see what you guys come up with! Have a good 4th party!

Edit2: Totally forgot something. That was an amazing post SilvanArrow! Its getting harder and harder to keep up with the quality of writing you keep posting.

@Muse and Sunwolf: *blushes* Wow, I don't really know what to say. I just write what I feel inspired to write. Besides, I really have to thank you all for allowing this role-play to continue for as long as it has. I think my writing is improving as the story progresses, and the richer the story gets, the more inspired I get.

And Sunwolf, dang! Way to drop a bombshell the size of an atomic bomb! I can only imagine how the group will react to Owen/James' little announcement. I was wondering, is Vikinson's a real disease? Just curious...

Nope. Just made it up on the spot while thinking of vikings. Well, if it is a real disease then I didn't know about it. The effects of the disease (and some of the character concepts) are somewhat modeled after a John Wayne character from The Shootist. Its a great film and between that film and Wyatt Earp I got the character's main ideas. The whole backstory is made up of course but the feel I wanted to portray was that similar to Doc Holliday from Wyatt Earp and John Bernard (J. B.) Books from The Shootist. For whatever reason those two characters kind of stuck with me so I thought it would be fun to make a character similar to them.

As for writing improvement I have to give it more to the rest of you than myself. I don't think my writing has improved as vastly as the rest of you. I think I have stayed pretty solid in my writing skills but I have noticed improvements from the rest of you. I was just incredibly grateful that we were finally featured on the MF because I knew we would eventually if we stuck with it since the writing of the RP is so good. This is the only RP that I have been involved in that consistently surprises me with the depth of characters. Its almost like reading a TV script.

Anyway I can't wait to read the responses to the A-bomb that Owen/James just dropped on the group. I should also point out that its not the fact he told but who he decided to tell. To him it feels like a sign of the respect that has been earned and now he is finally going to start telling the rest of the group about some of his secrets. Plus he is going to get outed on a few others so soon you will all know the whole story.

Seriously good stuff. Everyone. BTW I LOVED "The Shootst'. IMHO it was a memorable role for John Wayne as he was dealing with terminal lung cancer at that time too.

I so wish my character was older and actually had some secrets to give up or more backstory to reveal when I read your posts. But I she will develop, I promise!

Do not worry Muse, I've got a good number of tricks regarding Raewyn. Your character's life altering revalations are quickly approaching in the horizon.

Don't worry about it DM. We all have those times where we are really busy with RL stuff and don't have the time to write up quality posts. When you get time write and don't worry about us until then. With the split story its not just you we are waiting on. I really didn't expect any posting this week because of 4th weekend and vacations. Anyway I wish you good luck with your endeavors of RL.

Sounds good, Loki. And yeah, please don't worry, Digital Muse. It sounds like you have more than enough on your plate, so just take your time and post when you don't need to worry about an injured hubby or flooded basement.

Hmmm...I'm thinking about what I want to write for my next post, and I'm stuck between two options. I could either stick with Eri's aloof, woman-of-few-words attitude or try something...a little riskier. Since she's already confused and frustrated with her newfound emotions, I don't think this will be a crazy stretch. I already have a few notes written down for option 2 and am pretty happy with it, so I think I'll run with my muse for now. It may work. It may fail epically. If it fails, please don't hesitate to tell me so I can change it. I'll try to get something up tonight or tomorrow.

Oh and Sunwolf, what ability did you finally settle on for Owen/James? Is it time manipulation or regeneration? I'm still a little fuzzy on that one.

It is Time manipulation but Owen/James hasn't figured that out yet. Since the manifestation has been mostly shown in healing himself he doesn't know which it is yet and if he tries to mess with it now he will just pass out again. So right now its ok to be confused. I should have written it better but it turned out the way it did.

His clothes and weapons would show the time manipulation. Since the injuries and use of ammo never happened. But It'll take everyone a while to connect the dots in character.

And things have settled down for the most part...that's why I need to write. To escape a bit.

Whew...posted. My muse is passed out in a corner of my mind for now. I'll be honest, I was a little hesitant to post this one because it's unlike anything else I've written for Eri's character so far, but I like how it turned out.

Yeah. That post was awesome Silvan. I wouldn't change it either. Although I would expect James/Owen to have a response to that. So expect a little disagreement about his outlook on life. I am going to wait for Loki to get a response in before I make my next post though.

Great post, Digital Muse! I get the sense that Raewyn matured a great deal by seeing those visions and finally realizing that her power could be used for great evil as well as good.
