Well, you can do that you know, Taizen and Min are 13 and 14, so the Savaar is going to kick there asses, probably ridiculously easily too....with some badassness left over. ^-^ LOL
Min just regularly challenges him because she wants to see how he uses his element attacks. Even though he's never used them on her. So I have no issue with my character losing, in fact, I think I need to put a fight somewhere in the next few posts where she wins, cause she has yet to. >_<

Oh yah, and I was wondering, since the Dojo will be destroyed, that means that ALL the kids are going to travel with the Sevaar?

Kinda a lot of kids....or are just our characters going?

Which gives me an Idea too, I think I have a small plot idea, nothing involving any of the characters, just one of the members of Min's family that will cause her to leave.

Actually I planned on virtually every student and teacher to get slain in Silverwood's destruction. It's a plot line that stirs up a lot of bullshit for everyone in Summerset.

Like I said, Silverwood is just the beginning.

I really don't like your attitude, Tkwiget. You act like just because your character is a 'Sevaar', you can lord it over everyone. Two 'runts'? That is incredibly disrespectful, which makes you sound even more like an asshole. I really think you should let characters evolve at their own rate, instead of what rate you deem is 'right'.

Taizan will not defeat your character, no, but he will put up a good fight. On top of that, he will take the loss and better himself through rigorous training to become strong enough to become a Sevaar, though that part will not be until the end of the story. Taizan has learned one technique for the element Fire, since his father taught it to him, but he is far from mastering it.

Now that I've hopefully knocked you off your high horse, when are we going to continue the IC? It is getting really boring waiting around for someone to post.

Just stop. Just stop now. It's quiet clear to anyone that has read all of your posts in OOC that you don't understand the difference in battle strength your character has compared to a Sevaar. You haven't accomplished anything at all. You're just being annoying. Look, no one's character is suppose to know any elemental attacks but mine for a reason. Get over it.

Yuina is missing. Eternity is having internet problems. From there we have Skittles_Overlord, you, and myself. There is so much we can do with two people missing. Chill out. The RP isn't meant to go by really fast and you're the one that wanted it to be slower anyways. Don't complain about something you are given.

All right, but at the very least, why can no one else but Jacob know an elemental attack at this point? It is important to my character's story that he know one specific elemental technique. I'll change it if the reason for no one else knowing a technque is good.

You are right, I did not want it to go fast. However, I was hoping for it to go a bit faster than this. I made my post last weekend, and that is still the latest. I was hoping for at least one more post since. I'm sorry about the complaining, but I was hoping for the RP to be a lot better than what it has turned into.

Your character is 13. I already explained that it takes years of training on your own to even harmonize with whatever element you're aligned so closely with. Even longer with training to use it as some kind of attack. I didn't even want Summerset to be in the same universe as modern day countries. Maybe another land or something where a language similar to Japan's is spoken, but certainly not Japan itself. I don't think it really matters where his homeland is, but the whole point of this RP is have characters under the training of a Sevaar to become Sevaar themselves as their teacher trains to become the King of Sevaar. Hint why the RP is called.. King of Fighters.

Dude, the RP just started. We aren't even on page 2 yet. Give it time. I just found out Eternity will be coming back shortly and things will speed up with her return. Shit happens man. Complaining about it won't make things better. Thinking of the solution and executing it will. The RP will get better in time and have to be patient. Skittle and I are working to come up with stuff for the role-play. I asked her to be the co-host and she's doing her part nicely to help provide ideas to get things moving. We're about to have our first major plot twist. So give it a little more time. After the plot twist, if you think the RP still sucks then you still have the option of bailing out. It isn't like I'm going to bar you from any one of my future RPs cause of that.

Ah, so that's where the conflict is. I created Taizan as the independent martial artist, one who becomes a legendary fighter mostly on his own. In the original story I created him for, he was taught techniques, but mastered them on his own and gained significant power increases through meditation and harsh training. So, I'm not used to the concept of Taizan having to rely on another to get stronger.

However, I guess that I can reformat Taizan's character a bit to become a student of the Sevaar. Now, that we've got that out of the way, things can probably get better. I'm not really interested in bailing out, since this is the first good roleplay I've found since I came to this site. Yes, I know stuff happens. Like I told you before, though, I won't be interested in any of your other RPs.

Glad to see that things are going to shit kinda......you do know that your character is only 13 TrueGrave....right? I mean, look at Min, she's from the Huichao clan and she can't take on three grown ups. Try toning it down a little, your character is young, and capable of surprises and stuff C;

Yes, I realize my character is 13 because that is the age I have chosen for him.

Well, much of the essence of Taizan will remain the same, however, he will train under the Sevaar. Oh, I definitely intend for there to be some surprises from Taizan. Anyway, the matter is settled, and there should be no more major problems.

Uhhmmm... am I still welcome here...? I've been having ISP problems and just as I have answered Tkwiget's PM, I have also concluded the forest battle with my post.

You guys deserve to know what happened. I've been absent because shit happened to the power adapter of our wireless broadband antennae. The technical service team sucked big time and had me file five frickin reports for them to finally send someone to check on it. (Which really pissed me off) So I had to terminate their service and apply for a new one. Which took three days at most to be up and running flawlessly. Everything had to be re-wired and stuff since I made some changes to my home furniture layout. xD

That about wraps it up! I hope I earn forgiveness. Truly sorry everyone.

Curiosity: A battle with "The Sevaar?" Jacob SHOULD go easy on them like using only 1% of his battle potential. Smile

All right, so I finally got my really long post up, which is good. However, I really have to change something I said earlier. As I said before, Taizan is supposed to represent the ultimate independent martial artist. For this reason, I cannot have him train under the Sevaar, as it would ruin the essence of the character. Taizan will have his place in the story, but there won't be any martial arts interactions outside of battles or sparring. This is why I have to ask a favor, again.

I would really like it if you would not hinder my character's independent ascension to a Sevaar. I mean, I understand that there has to be limits, but I don't want the whole training process to revolve around your character. I understand that Jacob's role is to become the 'King of the Sevaar', but having one person absent from his training will not be that bad, will it? Also, I know what you're probably going to mention, and the elemental stuff will be slow going, as well. That will be part of the training.

I'm really a lot better in martial arts RP when everyone kind of trains their own way. It certainly stays true to the character, and will make my part of the story a good deal better. So, I hope that all of that is fine with you, Tkwiget, as I really don't want to have Taizan train under Jacob.

I said it mostly to get you to understand that I don't want some youngster to be as strong as some 30-something year old fighter with much of his life devoted to the martial arts.

The way I viewed Taizan knowing a fire element technique from the start is saying a level 1 character knows a level 50 attack. It kind of makes no sense.

The other thing I wanted was to leave plenty of room for characters to develop. You don't want to have him learn some things from Jacob? That's fine. It isn't like I can simply force you to go along with it. It wouldn't make the RP any better than it is if I did that.

Perhaps Min could some how find it in her heart to share that scroll with Taizan or something. It's just an idea and that could give him the basic theory on how to actually start training elemental control. But still, I want these things to come with time rather than really quickly cause it would destroy the story completely.

You sure do ask a lot of favors man. XD

I don't quite agree with that viewpoint, but I won't fight you on it, since it would get me nowhere.

Well, that's a positive thing. Glad that you are seeing things my way a bit.

I don't think it would actually matter if she did, since she's studying a whole different element than Taizan. He all ready has the knowledge of the attack that he learned from his father, as detailed in my latest post, but he has not become in tune enough with fire to execute it. I never had any intention of rushing things, I just don't understand your viewpoint on the elemental aspects of your roleplay.

I all ready have a plan for how Taizan will train with the fire element, so the scroll won't matter to anyone but Min. There was nothing wrong with the idea, though.

That should have been something explained right off the bat, in my opinion. Anyway, just as long as I can train Taizan in the elements in the way I've prepared, then everything will be fine when it comes to actually using them in conjunction with martial arts.

I don't think it will really matter much. I never was going to make there be only one single method anyways. So I don't really see any harm in it.

Min might have that scroll, but that doesn't mean she can't discover her own way to meld with elements, harmonize herself with them, communicate with them, and then be able to use them in combat however her character finds out a way to do all that.

It could be as simple as trying to focus on manipulating the element at first rather than simply controlling everything it does.

I never meant there to be only one way. That would just be so damn boring. XD

Will Taizen be traveling with someone else then?

I understand you wanting your character to become a savaar, Min wants the same thing, I'm not sure she'll reach it, she might die before then, but just know that she's heading the same direction.

Tkwiget, Min's staying with Jacob, hands down, no way will she give up the chance to hear and see what he has to show XD.

Oh, and her scroll explains the origins and nature of the elements, and some attacks from famouse element users, by no means does this mean she can't take it and mold it into something else.

No, he'll just show up where the others are in the course of his training. I do want him to do a little bit of training and gain a deeper understanding of the fire element before the first chapter ends, though.

After this day in the RP, there will be 2 or 3 more days for Chapter 1. I already mentioned this. Sure I can see if Jacob will explain some things about fire and wind, maybe even some theories on water and earth elements as well.

It will be rather interesting, but like I said there won't be one single method to figuring it out.

To give you guys an idea of how strong Jacob is, he is like a level 30 character in a world where the max level is 60. He is strong, but not nearly the very strongest. He probably is the weakest Sevaar of all the Sevaar simply because of his age. But he can still whoop the pants off people.
