I'm so sorry I'm retarded!!!!!!
I don't have any time to do anything...I was gone for a week unexpectedly and then found that school had decided to test everyone in the time I was gone.
sighs
But I WILL post today, I promise, I'm working on it now.

Hahah!! Alright, try and get caught up with all the posts. I don't believe to many posts were put up while you were gone.

I also changed the posting rule. It's now a casual advanced role-play. There might not be any definitive time I want you to post regularly but it would still be nice to see a post once a week at least. At least that's how I see it. I think everyone can manage that.

Well, all right. I was really hoping this roleplay would go a bit faster, but as long as people are posting, then I'm all right with it.

Skittle_Overlord, didn't expect such a time leap forward. I suppose it's fine. I should let the other two finish up their battle in the forest before I make my post.

Oh, were we not supposed to make that leap forward yet? I saw her post and jumped forward, too. Should I edit it, or does it matter right now?

Nah, that's fine. Just give the others time to wrap up their fight. It would be rude not to.

EDIT: Awesome post btw.

Well, as they say, "never interrupt warriors in combat".

Thanks, man. I'm actually getting used to playing Taizan at thirteen a bit more now. Usually, I play him as an adult, since I never got to roleplay his original story with him as a teen because my team wasn't the most dedicated bunch of roleplayers. Ah, well, no use crying over spilled milk. I'll just work hard and make this roleplay the type of roleplay I've been searching for for over a year.

That's one thing I never do is make pre-made characters. Just never was my style. I like making characters to fit a story rather than fit a story around a character. Gives more flexibility to those that want to join it after it has begun.

I also want to give them time to finish their little fight so I can see where things stand in their character's relationships. Dinner conversations in the RP are going to be rather interesting. I at least plan to make it like that.

Well, I just tend to reuse characters if the story fits him.

I don't really know who's fighting, since I haven't finished backreading, but I agree that it will be interesting.

That's good to hear.

Waiting for Eternity and Yuina to finish there little fight in the forest.

I'll give the option up to Eternity if she wants to just vaguely explain that Kaze is kicking ass in her next post, move time forward, and get things moving along towards meal time in the dojo. After her post I will conduct my own to get things on track with the time skip Skittles made.

I also sent Yuina a PM asking what the deal is about being so absent in the RP. I know there is no longer a posting rule but I PMed her for Eternity's sake. She hasn't visited FOG since October 11th. It's the 25th so I figure something came up. Hopefully we will find the answer.

Hey, Tkwiget, in my next post, Taizan actually meets up with Bishop. If Eternity moves time again, that won't be affected, will it? It is important that Taizan meet Bishop in the area behind the dojo.

The only people that need to make a time skip are those involved in the fight inside the forest. That way they can go in whatever direction they want their characters to go. Eternity's character will probably return to the dojo. I'm assuming Yuina's character would as well.

I was going to wrap up Jacob's training on the beach, have him clean up, and then get him to eat. I suppose you could have Taizan watch Jacob from the dojo's courtyard closest to the beach.

Well, actually, Taizan will be addressing Jacob, not just sitting on the sidelines to watch him. After all, he has just walked all the way from Japan to Silverwood. He's not going to be in much of a mood to wait for a foreigner to finish his training exercise.

I wasn't going to place the RP in traditional Earth, but I suppose it doesn't really matter all that much. It could be a much different Earth than we know today.

I suppose I'll have to put on a show as the young boy approaches Jacob on the beach.

ok, so looks like you guys fixed it. I was hopeing that what I did didn't screw things up that much. I just kinda time skipped because I was trying to emphasize how long Min was training before she wrapped it up.

I think my next post, and the one after that, will be lone ones, by that I mean she won't be interacting with anyone's characters. She doesn't have much reason to, and she's a bit of a loner.

That's fine. I still don't know where Yuina is. It's getting a little frustrating and I think she simply vanished on us.

What do you guys wanna do about it?

Well, we could simply have Kaze descibe his interaction with her as...interesting. And that be the deciding point of him joining the Dojo. So two strays would be at the dojo's doormatt XD

I don't think he was inclined to join the dojo. Besides, there won't be much of one soon anyways cause I plan on destroying it to conclude the chapter.

So I'm thinking that Kaze would just wander around even more, probably flee to another town or something. I'm trying to prep then transition between chapters. It will reveal exactly how powerful someone like a Sevaar is near the end of Chapter 1.

I guess you guys can consider that a heads up. Chapter 2 is going to be kind of.. dark or at least that's what I'm planning it to be.

That's fantasmal!!!
but
I wonder how Min is going to play a part in this story, I'm having some trouble deciding on what to do, it's not just me as a writer either. It's like Min is....lost. She does what she is told, strives to be the person the Huichao family wants, and never seems to get there.

Le sigh, I feel some soul searching times ahead for Min.

There will certainly be a lot of that going on with everyone that found the dojo to be their character's home. It will be really hard on Jacob.

All right, but I hope there's more to the first chapter than just what has been seen so far. I'm not prepared to jump to chapter two now that my character has just shown up in Silverwood. I would need a little more story before the dojo gets destroyed.

It's just bad timing man. I don't like giving out spoilers so I'm not going to. I'll just say it starts with Silverwood and grows into a more serious issue at hand.

If you were posting from the very beginning, you wouldn't have that problem but once the certain events unfold to finish the chapter.. then the chapter is finished. I suppose I can postpone Silverwood's destruction for a couple days in the RP. That should help out greatly. Plus, tomorrow in the RP Jacob gets to hold his lessons for the students he teaches.

I was not able to post from the very beginning because I was grounded, all right, so don't start lecturing me on that point. A couple days would be fine, and as long as Taizan gets to fight Jacob, then the first chapter can end smoothly. Taizan will then become much more involved in the second chapter.

You want your character to fight a Sevaar? Taizan would lose the fight against one of Jacob's techniques and probably die to any of his elemental attacks (not that I'm going to use any).

Should be interesting. I haven't done PvP in a RP in a very long time.. Those skills have collected much dust over the years. Haha..

And Skittles, I'll try to make it exciting as possible. And everyone, please keep in mind that it takes a lot of training to learn how to wield an element, like years. It takes even longer to actually use that training to form it into some kind of useful attack. I think that's what I'll have Jacob specialize his classes for is harmonizing the body with the elements around you. Yeah, that sounds like a good start.

Of course, there will be sparring sessions as well during the days he teaches classes. After Silverwood is destroyed, everyone's characters will traveling with Jacob, training with him, etc. while they go around Summerset absorbing the culture.

EDIT: Oh god, you guys are something. Laughing

This should be fun. Two runts fighting one on one with a Sevaar.

XD

I don't think I have the role-playing skills to fight you both at the same time without making it look like my guy is some kind of badass god or something. I probably will have that problem even in one on one's cause he is a Sevaar, one of the strongest fighters in all of Summerset. So I guess a little bit of difference between him and 2 runts that aren't even 15 yet.

Plus, I designed my character so that his signature move is still incomplete but wickedly powerful and it's only half strength. I will leave the part why it's half strength for you guys to figure out.
