Yes, but they wouldn't register as being "alive" per say.

Re: The Chatterbox Thread
Ah..yeah Fate, I do have asthma, I forgot to mention that when I said the mile thing. I think it was acting up bad yesterday, since I'm a little sore today I had to do push-ups(18) and sit-ups(24) today too.
Re: The Chatterbox Thread
I always hated the push-up tests in high school because I couldn't just do as many push-ups as I could before my arms gave out. We always had this... way of doing it... where it was like... you would lift yourself up for one count, spend one count lowering yourself, and hold the lowered position for one count before repeating... I think the most I ever did was eighteen. =\
However, I always enjoyed the sit-up tests. We just had to do as many as possible in one minute while a partner held our feet. I'm not saying I was good at it. I just liked it. I think the most I could get in a minute was forty-eight... but I can't remember.

Re: The Chatterbox Thread
Well, we didn't have to do a certain amount in one minute, we just had to do at least 24.

Kathyrn's ghosties freaked me out for a second.
XD
that's what happens when I'm up at 12:30 am on barely any energy just because I want to write posts with Gunneh...
I have to get up at 5 with the hubby to get his coffee and lunch ready for him...
=/
I will not be happy tomorrow.
lol

Re: The Chatterbox Thread
It was a rhetorical question meant to imply your gym class is made of fail... I'm seriously beginning to wonder if you're serious every time you say you don't know what someone means when they use a euphemism...

There are dictionaries for a reason. Use one.

See? If I had went and searched Google, that would of taken far too much work!

You've forgotten to mention Urban Dictionary for slang!

Re: The Chatterbox Thread
Yes, and Urban Dictionary for slang. Very useful.
Or even just a normal dictionary, because they usually mention slang and colloquialisms in there, too. *sage nod*
It's always a good idea to check something out if you're not sure about something. That way you avoid saying the wrong word. Prime example: just today I was about to say the sun "exemplified" a certain landscape, when that's completely the wrong word. I had a feeling I'd better look it up, and I changed it to "enhanced," which was probably the word I was trying to think of in the first place. (And then I changed it to "infinitely enhanced," but that was just to sound cool in the RP. =P)
Little things like that can make a big difference sometimes, you know? Even if most people might not immediately realize an error in meaning.
Of course, I'm probably something of a perfectionist, like Kathryn.
Constructive Correctors ftw!

So, we're in the drive thru at McDonalds....
and the lady in the window looks at Silvone and says...
"Has anyone ever told you that you look like Robert Pattinson?"
Now, we've never heard that one before...so I ask, "Who is that?"
"That guy from Twilight. Edward Cullen!"

It must have been the hair. Silv wont let me take a picture of it, but now that I've googled the guy, there is a hairstyle resemblance this morning!

lol that's cool Silvone!
I didn't know the name either until Ryona just now mentioned it.
I'm all curious, now. Take a picture and do a comparison! xD

Re: The Chatterbox Thread
Well, I've seen your picture, and I believe it's safe to assume that you don't actually look like him, Silvone. I'm sorry someone thought to say something so offensive to you. :: pats ::

So, on the topic of vampires -- Have any of you guys watched that new TV show Vampire Diaries?
Tony/onenitedrive told me about it, since there are commercials for it on the radio at his work all the time. So, we watched the first episode of it, and oh-em-gee. It's a complete rip-off of Twilight, from what I know of it. We turned it off five minutes into it; it was that bad. (I'm sorry if anyone enjoyed it. ) It was such a teenage show with a really corny plot. *shudders* What happened to the days of cool vampires? Oh well. I've always preferred werewolves/lycans anyway. I just hope they don't ruin those next.
Re: The Chatterbox Thread
My friend watched The Vampire Diaries and she called me up laughing. I was so glad I didn't watch it. Even the guy who plays the vampire kinda looks like Edward. =/
I prefer werewolves as well, but I don't think anyone has ruined those just yet....

I had a hard time getting a picture...he kept turning away XD
Oh and no, he doesn't glitter in the sunlight. Thank goodness! Might spoil his gloomy demeanor!
No resemblance! I dunno what was wrong with her eyes!
