I think it must have had to do with the length of time I was reading (at least two hours, I think). I try to influence my dreams all the time before going to bed, but it never seems to work for me. ): Or if it does, I don't remember the dream.

I wish I could remember my dreams all the time. I've taken over the years to writing down all the ones I do remember, and that has seemed to help me remember more, but there are still far too many mornings where I wake up and the memory of my dream fades away into nothingness.

Ingrown toenail that I accidentally caused all on my own. I'm just glad my toenails don't do this without aid. Once this is over, I can't imagine ever going through it again.

This isn't really a complaint, but it's not really a cause for celebration either, so I'm gonna post it here!

I own a new book now, and it happened entirely on accident. I brought a book back to the library, and when I went to check something out a little while later, they informed me that the book was damaged, so I had to pay for it. Apparently, something spilled all over it, though I haven't the slightest idea what (mom thinks the dog jumped on the table and knocked something over, and I think that has to be the case since it was carefully stashed in my bookshelf until last night).

So anyway, I my mom had to pay for the book, and so now I own it. That's part of the reason it's not a complaint. The other part is that it's an Iris Johansen book that I don't already own. I like Iris Johansen. Smile

Well, it was probably cheaper being a used, library book than it would have been new. It's kind of obvious that you wouldn't have owned it before that point since you borrowed it from the library. ^o_~^

Actually, it was a brand new book to the library. ^^;; They've had it for, like, two months. Luckily, they didn't make us pay full price, but still, I've never bought a hardcover for anywhere near that price before.

I've toyed with the idea of making a Caligo character a lot for the past day or so. Haven't had any luck on ideas, though, so it's not gonna happen yet. Hope yours works out though, Fate!

Organizing a Sushi party for friends on Saturday! Its my Bday (Monday 3rd Aug) but we always go for Sushi on a friends Bday - keeping up tradition. Its going to be good! Very very good! Got 12 friends to come along ... didn't even think I had more than 12 friends *facepalm*

Just went into the garage and got a suitcase of clothes that my dad failed to send me. He said it was because he didn't know which ones were which, but I think it was more of the lines that he was too lazy. And I'm about to go through my box full of art stuff. I'm so excited! I haven't seen this stuff in half a year! >_<; I'm wondering if I changed at all compared to the drawings I made just before I left. Plus, I've been dying to get some reference stuff outta there. Ugh! How'm I 'posed to bring all the stuff with me? D: I don't have anymore room or the want to pay for extra luggage!

One snake in Florida tried to eat a crocodile! I don't know how it managed, but it did. However, the croc was way too big for it, and the snake exploded!!

I don't think you should judge your own works based on the work of others. Honestly, I think you should worry about your own work if it's not up to your personal standards. Everyone has a different writing style, and it's nice to add other flavors to a contest to make it more interesting for the judges and people like me who want to read what every contestant writes. ^^_^^

I just suffer from low confidence. I think its a good story and when I posted it I was pretty proud (been working on it for a month damn near!) but now I'm all worried :S heh
