What I can't help it. Actually I think my step-dad had a lot to do with many of those deaths. He doesn't like animals at all.

I came into this thread and was greeted by horrific tales of animals dieing!

Omg, those stories reminded me of dead pet story. This girl I used to know had her one hamster die because the other humped it to death. They were both boys. : |

Weird... That's like my mother's friend's adult male cat trying to butt-rape a boy kitten. Man-boy love is wrong.
I keep hearing these terrible jokes about Michael Jackson now that he's dead.
"Did you hear he didn't really die of a heart attack? He died of food poisoning. He ate twelve year old nuts."
"When they did the autopsy they found so much plastic in his body that they donated him to the LEGO factory, so maybe the kids can play with him for a change."
"Before Farrah Faucet died, she made a wish for all the children of Earth to be protected, so God killed Michael Jackson."
:: sighs ::
I don't believe he molested children, I just believe he was a definite odd-ball.
Anyway, more hunting for my costume while I check email.

You got those too? Ugh, I'm sick of hearing it. He died. Okay. I don't care about my neighbor being shot dead, so I obviously wouldn't care about him dieing. A bit apathetic? Perhaps.
By the way Kathryn. Is your hair that light naturally? Just wondering. (I have blond envy)

Yes. It is. It's actually darker than it was when I was little. Don't have blond envy. I mean, I'm glad I have this hair colour rather than dirty blond, but I look terrible with any other colour in existence. I am actually incredibly partial to darker hair. I love the colouring of Native Americans especially. Darker hair, darker skin, lovely bone structure. Maybe everyone just prefers what they don't have? The heritage that pops the most in me is the Scandinavian ((Don't ask which countries. I have no idea.)), and I wish I could have exotic features like Native Americans or Latinas. :: sigh ::

Re: The Chatterbox Thread
I'm a full blown mutt so I'm actually part Native American and Latina. But, I was raised in a family full of fair skinned people with blue eyes and blond hair.
It's definitely that whole "grass is greener" thing. Because I've had a lot of people say that they wish they were as tan as I am. To which I then told them I was actually that color all year 'round.

Lucky. The one plus side to being this fair is that I'll make an excellent elf once I find the proper heels. ^^_^^
I honestly love darker colouring. Everything about it is amazing. I even love brown eyes the best. Of course, hazel is second best with green at the third. I used to date a lot of darker guys, but none of them were suited to me as far as personality profiles go. However, I always thought I looked really good next to darker guys because of the amazing contrast. It's funny that my current lover is so... not what I would normally look for physically, but he's perfect mentally, and that is now what I prefer the most. However, having been with him as long as I have ((which isn't really all that long, but the emotions and the mind have that affect)), I've actually really changed my mind about lighter guys, and I think they're really good looking in their own right, and I'm extremely attracted to Jonathan.
It's just like if you see the most gorgeous person ever, and then they speak and they're either really stupid or really asshole-ish, and you suddenly realize they weren't as attractive as you had thought...

Oh god, I know that feeling. I've met a ton of people who were amazing until they opened their mouth.
That goes the same for IM conversations. I didn't talk to half the people I dated via IM because they tlked liek dis. DX I can understand why people do that with text messages but if there is a full key board set in front of you I see no reason as to why you can't type out your damn words. Show some effort.

I KNOW! Jeeze! I feel the same exact way. I met my lover via RP, and he's better at it than at least half of the awesome role players I've met, so I have no worries about that.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!" Reffy lands with a thud, which looked like it could have broken a few bones. Dust flies out from under her body.
Un-phased, she bounds back up and smooths out her clothes, pretending that nothing out of the ordinary happened, again. "Morning ... haha ... Great day - isn't it? I'm ... yeah ... How you doing?" She coughed a little awkwardly and smiles, hoping she landed a little better than the last attempt.

Re: The Chatterbox Thread
Yay!!!
How far did you get!
Once the movie comes out, they may begin putting costumes together for Halloween, so I may cosplay as Yue since she's the only light haired character in the entire series. I can't do it now because I have no idea how to go about it, but I am looking forward to their interpretation of the Water Tribe apparel. ((Hell, I'm looking forward to their interpretation of the entire movie, period, but I've already seen a picture of both Aang's and Zuko's attire, sooo yeah.))
Once you hit Chapter 7: "Zuko Alone" of Book Two: Earth, you're sucked into it completely. That's the real turning point. I mean, if you weren't already fully immersed into the series, that is the episode that will make you a captive of the show until it's end. However, you'll still be a captive because- if you're anything like me- you will have swarms of wasps in your gut until you see the live-action movie on July 2nd, 2010. I was already squeeing with delight when I saw the simple teaser trailer for it!
Oh gosh! Fate, you're not allowed to watch this video until you finish the series or it may give some stuff away, but if you're someone who has never seen or heard of or about Avatar: The Last Airbender, you need to watch this fan-made trailer called Avatar- New Beginnings. It's the coolest trailer for the show I have ever seen.

Re: The Chatterbox Thread
I just finished watching episode 15, "Bato of the Water Tribe." Since there are only 20 episodes (or chapters, rather) in season/book one, I'm nearly done already! I have all 3 seasons though, so I'm excited to watch them all. ^_^
Dressing up as one of the Avatar characters would be a lot of fun! I haven't gotten to Yue yet, but I looked her up on Google, and she is very pretty. I love her hair! It'll definitely be interesting to see how the movie plays out everything and how closely the movie characters resemble the cartoon ones.
I'll have to remember that then about Chapter 7 in the next book. o_o *can't wait!*
Oh, man, okay, well I don't want to give anything away yet to myself, lol, so I'll click on that link when I think I know most of everything. It sounds like it must be a great trailer. :]
The show is really hilarious! I absolutely love the humor in it. I definitely like American humor more so than that of the Japanese culture, because, well, obviously I grew up here, and it's what I know. Lol and it's kind of like what Tony had said to me earlier about that, that Japanese anime humor tends to be dirty (depending on the show). xD

Re: The Chatterbox Thread
NO! You have to wait until you see the entire series. You're already too far, and you know the characters too well to watch that trailer. However, I watched that trailer after I finished the series, and it was so good it gave me shivers, and it made me cry.
I'm seriously a baby, and I don't care. Watching that show makes me cry even now that I've seen it all a dozen times.
OH NO! I just tried to get into that link I left, and YouTube removed it for violating some stupid lakhgkladhflajgldhflagld! I'll search for it on livevideo...
YES! I found it... Now, I'm going to load it. I'm going to watch it, and after I watch it, I'll let you, Fate, know when you can watch the video. You may be able to watch it before you watch the entire series, but I need to figure out which is the last episode they have in there. I have a feeling you won't be able to watch it until after Chapter 15: "The Boiling Rock, Part 2" of Book Three: Fire, though...
Actually... You know what? I am positively certain that you can watch it after you finish watching that episode because- now that I have the episode guide of Book Three: Fire in my hand ((Yes! I own all three box sets!))- I realize that nothing further will be given away because I don't think the creator of the trailer put the last six episodes into the video.
The REAL link to Avatar - New Beginnings in on LiveJournal. Fucking YouTube and their assholishness about videos. YouTube had the best version. ^;_;^
{EDIT}
Ignore that. I found the YouTube version. It is here!!!

Oh! Okay, well that's fine by me. So after Episode/Chapter 15 of Season/Book 3? Gotcha. It sounds really moving! I wonder what happens? o.o I'm excited to see it and the rest of the show though!
Thanks for finding me the link to it. I always hate when YouTube has to take videos down.

Oh man! "The Boiling Rock Pt. 2"!!! That's where...wait...no spoilers...that chapter has one hell of an ending, though. I sat there with my 30-something aunt and both of us had the O_O on lol. Very good episode.

I started watching Avatar but, due to my hectic schedules, I lost track of it.
Loving Manga and Anime right now. Even trying to learn how to draw it. Got a couple of really really cute Chibi Anime's that I need to color in.
Considering getting the incubus Chibi I did for Schrodinger printed on a t-shirt (after I've outlined him) You can see him on my art thread over at AWR

Re: The Chatterbox Thread
Haha, I just started rewatching Avatar last night. My friend was interested in the series because she saw the trailer for the 2010 movie, but she couldn't find episodes online, for whatever reason. So I looked them up and quickly found a site for her, and in the process started watching them myself.
Up to episode three once again, but I'm fairly certain that I've either completely finished the anime, or was partially through the Fire book.

Re: The Chatterbox Thread
Okay. I was wrong about that fan-made trailer not having the last six episodes in it. There are episodes all the way through the series, but after Chapter 15: "The Boiling Rock, Part 2" of Book Three: Fire, noting major is given away. Another reason I don't want you to watch it until after that point is that there are four characters in it that you don't meet until the second season. It's okay for people who've never seen it to watch the video because it's an interest grabber, but they really shouldn't watch it while they're watching the series because it'll give things away about which they wouldn't have thought otherwise. Try not to memorize anything about the video if you're about the watch the series, guys! Just watch it to watch it.
OMG! Gunnar, I know exactly what you mean! Nickelodeon has a marathon of every episode played over a period of seven days ((the only episodes they didn't show were the last four)), and when it hit the episodes of Book Three: Fire, I was so squeeified. The Boiling Rock is soooo intense, too. Those are two of my favorite episodes, though The Puppet Master and The Southern Raiders are also my favorites. Katara's my favorite female character with Zuko being my favorite over all, replacing Iroh once the third season began.
Lara, when I started Avatar, I watched it from the middle of Book One: Water, and I watched whatever episodes aired. By the time I got the boxed set for Book One: Water, I had already seen every episode of it as out-of-order as one can get. By the time I got Book Two: Earth, I had also seen every episode out of order, but I watched the first two season in-order a couple of times- once by myself and once with my best friend. We're both rather addicted. I was so excited when they had the week-long marathon of Avatar where they played seven episodes a day, and I was practically screaming at the television when they didn't play the last four episodes, but I got them in due time. When I got the last boxed set, Laura and I watched the entire series all over again in preparation for the final Book. It's really great.
Maybe she and I will watch them all over again in preparation for The Last Airbender each time a new movie comes out. heheh

Re: The Chatterbox Thread
Zuko only took the spot in my heart that Iroh had when he stopped being in so many epsiodes. The old man was one of my favorite characters and still is, especially since we find out so much about him towards the end of the series. Also, I was completely shocked to find out that Mark Hamill did the voice for Ozai, but then again, that man could probably do voice over work for fruit.

Re: The Chatterbox Thread
I think part of the reason Iroh was left out of so many more episodes is partially because his original voice actor, Mako, died after the second season of esophagus cancer. The new voice actor is still pretty good and pretty close, but Mako will always be the best.
And holy shit, yes! I thought it was so ironic that Mark Hamill voiced the evil father after having been the good son with the evil father in Star Wars. ^^_^^ It's awesome. He did a wonderful job as Ozai.

Ohhh, okay. I think I'll just wait to watch the trailer until I finish with all 3 seasons. It really shouldn't take too long. I would be done with the first season today and well into the second, but, for some reason, we're missing the very final episode of season one! *pouts* Tony will have to get it for me when he gets home.
