Definition of Monthly Features

---

Each month, FOG highlights certain aspects of the community to put them in the spotlight for a bit of recognition. Everyone, including the staff (minus the Admins) are qualified to be chosen for one of these monthly accentuations. Each monthly feature will be decided upon and determined by the Administrators based on credentials they feel are fair. Those which they feel are deserving will be announced here every month. Monthly features will be announced toward the beginning of each month.

There are multiple categories which will have a feature every month. They include:

• a Gallery feature
  
• an Art and Design feature
  
• a Writing and Journalism feature
  
• a role-playing feature
  
• a member of the month
  

(Role-plays in which an Admin is involved can still be accepted as features, so long as the role-play was not created by an Admin.)

A very big congratulations to this month's monthly features! Your work and contribution to the community, we feel, is worthy of recognition.

Gallery:
This month's Gallery feature goes to...Diodri Setera for his "Lovers" upload!
Diodri has a fun and beautiful album in the gallery, and has many photos from his vacation to Hawaii, one of these being this one featured. This photo itself struck us as the most beautiful and most emotional piece. The couple in the water are sharing a tender moment just as the sun is setting, and the way the photograph was taken, with the focus being off towards the side, really adds a huge element of design into it, whether it was intentional or not. Great picture!

Art and Design:
This month's Art and Design feature goes to...Twoface_ecafowT for his "Signature Hut" signature banners!
Twoface has a wonderful collection of signature banners he has done, which have some very neat effects. The composition in each too is unique and artistic. Well done!

Writing and Journalism:
This month's Writing and Journalism feature goes to...Loki for his "Another Long Night" short narration!
This account of Loki's views toward college is both exquisitely written and enjoyable. It offers a bit of insight into the author himself, and also into the lives of those he is surrounded by. He definitely set and captured the mood in this single post, and it's well worth a read.

Role-Playing:
This month's Role-Playing feature goes to...Loki for his "World War Z" role-play!
The role-players involved include Loki, 2401, Kaito, (formally) Kail DeWraith, Slig, Diodri_Setera, and (formally) DeadEye. All one can really say about this role-play is "WOW!" From the very start and beginning of this, in the OOC thread, there was so much that went into this in terms of details and development, and because of that, the role-play itself seems all that more real. This is truly a zombie role-play that even zombie-haters can appreciate!

Member of the Month:
This month's Member of the Month goes to...Inerio!
Inerio has become a true part of the family here at FOG and is well-known to many. Her personality stands out, and no one can deny what a fun person she is, both in and out of role-plays. She possess a sense of humor that shines through even the densest the fog!

As for WWZ, it's moving a little slowly at this beginning until we manage to get into a rhythm, but the foundation is definitely there for a story of epic proportions. A shout out to all those who are participating and thanks for being patient with me as I get things sorted out.
