Definition of Monthly Features
Each month, FOG highlights certain aspects of the community to put them in the spotlight for a bit of recognition. Everyone, including the staff (minus the Admins) are qualified to be chosen for one of these monthly accentuations. Each monthly feature will be decided upon and determined by the Administrators based on credentials they feel are fair. Those which they feel are deserving will be announced here every month. Monthly features will be announced toward the beginning of each month.
There are multiple categories which will have a feature every month. They include:
(Role-plays in which an Admin is involved can still be accepted as features, so long as the role-play was not created by an Admin.)
This Month's Features
A very big congratulations to this month's monthly features! Your work and contribution to the community, we feel, is worthy of recognition.
Art and Design:
This month's Art and Design feature goes to...Weiss for his "Graphics by Weiss!"
Weiss' popularity in designing avatars and signatures grew incredibly rapidly around FOG, and many of us found ourselves wanting to get in on his designs! It's no wonder though, since Weiss is truly fantastic at creating unique and artistic-looking setups.
Writing and Journalism:
This month's Writing and Journalism feature goes to...Ominous Flare for his "Into the Moon" story!
Ominous Flare wrote a wonderfully detailed story about something I've never seen given much detail (in terms of writing) before -- Digimon! It was a joy to read through his work on a subject that normally is role-played about in short posts and lacking any real detail or enthusiasm.
Role-Playing:
This month's Role-Playing feature goes to...Heyseuss for his "Star Wars -- Desperate Days" role-play!
This is a very in-depth Star Wars role-play that would make any fan excited! It takes place a year before the Battle of Yavin. Not only is each post written exceptionally well, but all are equally entertaining. The other role-players involved include Igraine, Kaislynn, Deadman - D17, and Klikxx.
Member of the Month:
This month's Member of the Month goes to...Silvone Elestahr!
Being an active member, both in the OOC sections as well as throughout the role-playing sections, most of us are familiar with Silvone and have come to look at him as not only a friend, but a part of the FOG family.
Let's hear it for October's features!

Wow. Okay, let's try and not be bitter and instead let's be a bit more happy for the people who are meant to be celebrated this month. We have an unlimited amount of months ahead of us, and all of you (minus the staff for Member of the Month) have an equal chance of being included in our Monthly Features.
Like always, these were tough choices for Axiom and I, and we went over a lot of options and considered more things than most would probably ponder, but we feel our choices, as always, were fully justified.
