Definition of Monthly Features

---

Each month, FOG highlights certain aspects of the community to put them in the spotlight for a bit of recognition. Everyone, including the staff (minus the Admins) are qualified to be chosen for one of these monthly accentuations. Each monthly feature will be decided upon and determined by the Administrators based on credentials they feel are fair. Those which they feel are deserving will be announced here every month. Monthly features will be announced toward the beginning of each month.

There are multiple categories which will have a feature every month. They include:

• a Gallery feature
  
• an Art and Design feature
  
• a Writing and Journalism feature
  
• a role-playing feature
  
• a member of the month
  

(Role-plays in which an Admin is involved can still be accepted as features, so long as the role-play was not created by an Admin.)

A very big congratulations to this month's monthly features! Your work and contribution to the community, we feel, is worthy of recognition.

Gallery:
This month's Gallery feature goes to...Ryona Noel for her "Wedding Video Clips" upload!
Ryona uploaded a video of scenes from her wedding, which was absolutely beautiful! The beach was such a perfect setting, and the music (from The Lord of the Rings soundtrack) set the mood perfectly. What a lovely wedding!!

Art and Design:
This month's Art and Design feature goes to...Igraine for her "Igraine's Artsy Fartsy stuff!"
Anyone that has seen Igraine's artwork knows that each and every piece that she does seems to possess, intentionally or unintentionally, a very specific mood, and she portrays that mood beautifully. She truly is an artistically inclined individual!

Writing and Journalism:
This month's Writing and Journalism feature goes to...Yuina for her "MECA" story!
Yuina's story is a scary look into a vision of Earth's future and the rebuilding of civilization after a nuclear war. What's left of the planet are merely two continents, and just as humans are beginning to prosper and develop, mistrust arises and new efforts are made to building up military powers. This story goes to show that even when almost all is lost, we humans are so greedy, they we may just try and take the crumbles of what's left. Very great idea, and a wonderful read too!

Role-Playing:
This month's Role-Playing feature goes to...Howler for his "Shift" role-play!
This role-play is based off of the movie Push, which centers around people with unique abilities, all labeled as something based on their power. These unique individuals are being forced into being experiments, so as to turn them into weapons. Their story includes a group of people who have self-serving intentions and call themselves The Pack. The other role-players include Augustus Evans, Elric Gharial, Eternity, Ragter, Klikxx, and Spectre.

Member of the Month:
This month's Member of the Month goes to...Heyseuss!
Heyseuss has a strong presence here on FOG, and his posts, both out of character and in character all seem to have thought put into them and seem to always be said eloquently, if not with a bit of wit. His intelligence shows in his posts, as does his personality.

I really do appreciate it, because this is the closest thing to an RP 'home base' I've had in years.
