A Semi-Extended Weekend

Just so everybody knows, I will be leaving to visit my grandparents tomorrow afternoon for the weekend. The downside is that they live in BFE West Virginia with no internet connection for atleast 50 miles. Not that it really matters, the only computer my grandpa owns runs Windows 3.0 and has a 512mb harddrive capacity .

Even funnier, the only way I can get any real phone signal is by holding my cellphone close to the metal clothes line stand, using it to boost my signal to 2 or 3 bars. Gotta love my cousin for that discovery.

I agree with Kaito - that's a perfect setup to be slaughtered if zombies were to attack. So, uh, stay safe out there, Loki! Even if there aren't zombies, there are sometimes crazy, wild hillbillies that have been genetically transformed from nuclear testing sites...

Oh, I've already thought through that scenario. The place where my grandparents live has a population density between 1-5 people per square mile and an abundance of natural resources. That combined with its climatology, farmland, pastures, rough terrain, well water supplies, large amounts of existing fencing, abundance of firearms, etc. it would be a fantastic place to wait out the zombie apocalypse.

Tis one of my primary evacuation points for when ZDay arises. If any of you need a safe haven at that point, I’ll be glad to pick you up along the way. I'll do my best to come back with pictures.

My dad couldn't get off work for tomorrow, so I have an extra day before I leave. I'll most likely be here until then and see if I can't get caught up in a few more RPs.
