Folding my laundry and getting ready to sit down and write. Unless I just nod off early and do it the next day. I have three different posts lined up in two different websites.

Re: What are you currently doing?
Reffy, you really shouldn't worry about what others are writing. I've often found that waiting can be made of fail. Often if I wait to see what others produce, they end up using the same ideas I had had which makes me want to do something else. Then again, I'm not very creative, so perhaps that's why.
I'm now trying to put production back into my life after watching a worthless movie.

Re: What are you currently doing?
Sorry the movie was worthless, Kathryn. Some movies really are a waste of both money and a couple hours of your life, lol.
I just finished reading the first few chapters of the memoir book entitled A Million Little Pieces. We're required to read it for my Capstone (basically English) class. It's really...graphic and sad. It's about a man who has smoked, drank, and done hardcore drugs since an extremely young age in his life and his recovery. It's pretty insane the things people experience while high.
I still have other homework to do, but I'll get to that after class tomorrow.

I'm just about to shut down my computer and head to bed. I've got a research meeting bright and early tomorrow morning. Good night, all!

So I should definitely be asleep by this point, since I have work tomorrow, but here I am instead, playing Bejeweled and craving a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

It's not a good idea to eat before bed.
I should also be getting to bed, but I don't want to do that right now. =\
I just finished watching Coraline. The book was waaaay creepier, but the movie wasn't horrible.

I don't think I've seen Coraline yet, but I know I do want to. I'm glad to hear that it's not horrible. :p

I'm shopping for textbooks online. I found one textbook for $2 + shipping, one for $6 + shipping, and... one for $40 + shipping.
I'm ecstatic that I've found the cheap ones for cheap, and I'm aware that even $40 is a whole lot better than I'd be able to expect from my school bookstore, but I was on a roll. ):
Huh. I've completely forgotten whatever else I had been planning to say. Curse you, distractions!

Re: What are you currently doing?
I've been off my feed creatively for a couple days, perhaps because of sinus issues and whatnot, but I'm working on another post now. I have two more to do after that. Usually, I do not require two days in a row without writing anything significant.
Of course, I'm not counting political commentary over on the Huffington Post, which is mostly red meat, back and forth political snarling. That's probably why I've been out of creative gas.

I just bought my circlet. It's beautiful. I can't wait until I get it. I'm going to be so careful with it, so nothing bad happens to it. It makes me want to get married just so I can wear it then, too. XD

Re: What are you currently doing?
Yeah. I'm really glad, too. At first, I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to get the one I wanted because the only blue stone in the drop down menu when I went to buy it was thirty-five dollars extra to have, and the stone in the pictures wasn't in the list.
However, after emailing Elnara ((the creator)) about the lack of that stone in the list, she told me it was an error, thanked me for pointing it out to her, and she added it to the list. Because I got a decent paycheck on Friday, I decided to buy that now because my next paycheck probably won't be as good due to the lack of work hours scheduled for me.
Next on the list will probably be the cloak.

I'll be heading off to my local library soon, to help out with their book sale (from which I do not intend to return home empty-handed). I'll be riding my bike there, since no one can drive me, but I'm the tiniest bit worried because I can't figure out what my bike lock combination is.

Re: What are you currently doing?
I helped out with a library book sale a couple of years ago. It was just organization. I liked it, and I got credit for it as "community service" so I could graduate. ^^_^^
I'm currently dreading my 11:20am doctor's appointment. ^;_;^ I hope it doesn't hurt as badly as I think it will. ^;_;^ ^;_;^ ^;_;^
After that, I'm going to the library to borrow The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, and I need to stop at Family Video to return The Prince of Egypt. The musical score in that movie is amazing.

Re: What are you currently doing?
You need to start working on your post for the Avatar role play, too, and Inerio needs to edit her post or at least delete it so other people can make their posts while she figures out what to do with hers. Ugh...
Well... I hate shots with a passion. I didn't begin to feel nervous until I was roughly halfway to my destination. I wonder if my nervousness altered my blood pressure? The nurse didn't tell me what mine was after she took it like they usually do... not that I really understand what the numbers mean, but still. I find it funny.
The doctor came in while she was taking my blood pressure. He was the same one who kindly prescribed me the antibiotics to me as the first attempt to deal with toenail. The infection went away for the most part, but the affliction was still there.
He commented on how much better it looked, and he asked me if I'd ever had some sort of medicine used on me before by other doctors... It started with a C or an S or something, and when I gave him the look that clearly stated I had no idea what that was, he mentioned dentists use it. I replied that yes, I have had it. He asked if there were any problems with it, so I told him that the last time I had dental work, they had to give me several shots of it because I could still feel them working on my teeth.
He found this information interesting, and he told me to hop up on the table/chair thingy. I had iodine slathered all over my big toe and the second toe and underneath them on the foot and such. I started to get really nervous at that point because I could see the syringe and plunger part of the shot from underneath a paper towel thingy. I'm terrified of shots. I can't ever watch them sink into my skin, but I can look at them once they're in my skin, but it's unpleasant. Funnily enough, the shots were the most terrifying part of the entire process for me.
Anyway, he told me to lie back, and if I felt faint to just go ahead and pass out. I didn't feel faint, I just felt nervous as hell. He said it would be no more than a small pain like a bee sting to which I sarcastically responded, "Oh, great." I've only had one bee sting, but that is enough to make me fear bees and their stingers for the rest of my life. ^^_^^;; I'm just glad it was a little bee and not a wasp or a hornet or something worse, but I show them almost equal amounts of fear.
Anyway, when he told me he was about to do it, I do what I thought I had gotten past doing. I told him to wait because I wasn't ready. I stopped doing this when I gave blood for the first- and so far only- time. When I had to have blood drawn for STD and Herpes testing, I didn't do it, but this time the panicky words left my lips before I even thought about them. I was a little embarrassed, but once my hands had a secure grip on the cushiony table thingy, he went ahead and did it.
Of course... my foot jerked back of its own accord at the first prick of the needle. The body has a defense mechanism that tells it to jerk away from pain to avoid it. Like when you burn yourself, you don't keep your hand or other body part there to become burned and damaged worse. Anyway, once I knew what sort of pain to expect, I managed to keep my leg and foot in place. My torso, of course, would not be stilled. The second time the needle entered my flesh, my back arched and my teeth clenched, but I held my foot still. The doctor also had a gentle but firm grip on my foot which probably helped a lot. It seriously felt like the needle was going in really deep. It probably didn't go as deeply as it felt, but ugh...
The worse part was that it wasn't just one stab... it was like... four. Then he started testing for numbness. It felt like he was tapping the needle against my skin. "Pain or pressure?"
"Pressure..."
"Pain or pressure?"
"Pressure... Pressure... Pressu- Pain! Pain!"
"Let's wait a little.
"Pain or pressure?"
"Pressure... Pressure... A bit of pain... More pain."
"You're right. We definitely will need more."
:: cringes ::
Then I got like... three or four more shots, and he waited a moment before doing the test.
"Pain or pressure?"
"Um... Nothing."
"That's what we like to hear."
I breathed a sigh of relief because I wouldn't have to get any more shots. It sucked like... whoa...
"Let me know if you feel anything."
"Oh, I definitely will."
Then I guess they started working, and he said, "Well, we know you're not feeling anything because you would be screaming now if you did."
How comforting... I was only slightly nervous for the cutting, but because I couldn't feel him stabbing my toe, I wasn't as afraid. I find it funny that I was waaaay more nervous for the needles than I ever was for the actual procedure.
Anyway, yeah. After he cut it out- the clipping sound made me jump a bit because I expected pain to come with that loud clip, but there was nothing. He then cauterized the wound which made me nervous until he actually started. For some reason, I expected the burning sensation to creep its way past the numbing solution, but it didn't.
When he was finished, I sat up, and looked at my toe. It was horrible looking, and when I moved my foot so the nurse could clean off the blood and iodine, there was a wide pool of blood on the paper/napkin thingy that had been under my foot the whole time. I kind of wish I had watched the actual process, but I didn't trust myself to move to sitting after I had gotten those shots.
Oh well. After that I picked up some Ibuprofen, milk, and cold bottle of tea at the drug store, returned the movie to the video store, and grabbed a new book from the library.
I should start feeling my toe around 5:30pm. They told me the stuff would start wearing off about six hours later, but I sort of anticipate it happening sooner. Hopefully not. I wish I didn't have to work tomorrow.

Re: What are you currently doing?
Getting ready to go to the Chelsea v. AC Milan game at M&T Bank stadium here in Balmuh; it's my first soccer game live in a long, long time. I haven't been to a match, much less one in a 70,000 person, filled to capacity stadium, in a long time, since when I was living in Germany.
One of the local Maryland boys, Oguchi Onyewu, signed on with AC Milan after his performance in the Confederations Cup in South Africa, so we get even more of a thrill around here.
I'm so pumped, and apparently this tour has been such a commercial success that everyone wants to do it again, which means more clubs during the summer in 2011 (World Cup is next year)
I'm going to be close to the front row near the midfield, if you're following this on ESPN at all.
