Re: What are you currently doing?
): I'm sorry about the amount of shots you had to get, Kathryn. I had to go through with that once when I had to get stitches in my nose. It took at least seven shots to fully numb it...
"Can you feel this?"
"Yes."
-shot- "Can you feel this now?"
"Yes."
-shot- "How about now?"
"... Yes. D: "
In other news, I'm back from work, and the book sale! As expected, I came home with a bag of books. Though, sadly there were no Sue Henry books. She's my favorite author. I plan to go back tomorrow and see if anything new came in!

Re: What are you currently doing?
Came back after taking a Career Planning test (I study online via the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, and my closed-book tests are done with the supervision of a proctor. Said proctor is whom I went to see.) at Nova University. Needless to say, I got a 90/100.
Got back home, decided it would be nice to share my AoG story with you folks, posted the first out of fifteen "chapters" and then I thought it would be great to post what I did today here.
Oh, and I had a black Angus steak sub at Quiznos. Quiznos>Subway by far }: )

Re: What are you currently doing?
I'm thinking of what to have for dinner and about a new story I want to write.
Re: What are you currently doing?
I'm surprised my toe still doesn't hurt, but it's still wrapped in it's protective cocoon. It's kind of sweaty...
I'm also busy trying to plan a party that may never come to be, but we'll see in about four months.

I'm playing Guitar Hero! Starting to go through all the songs in III on expert now that I've achieved five stars on Cliffs of Dover on Hard.

Re: What are you currently doing?
Planning parties that don't include drugs, alcohol, movies, or video games is ridiculously difficult.

Lately, I've been attending parties where beer pong is played. I used to attend awesome house parties where there was a good playlist and lots of people dancing. I think it's all in how you set up the space; if you lower the lights and put on blacklights and pick the right tunes, people will dance.
Costumes or a theme, perhaps?
I once threw a "Communist Party" where everyone was required to wear red and berets or anything else. But red, at least.

Re: What are you currently doing?
Both, actually
Costumes will be mandatory, and the costume theme is going to be faeries/elves/middle earth/medieval fantasy. I don't know wtf to call that in a couple of words. Hopefully I'll think of something catchy for the invites.

Well, I'm going to be an Elf, so that would be kind of odd... but I do want a sign that says, "No Admittance Except on Party Business." ^^_^^

I'm staring at the computer screen, reading things I've already read, waiting for 2:00 a.m. Why can't I sleep before 2:00 a.m.???

I'm playing on the Internet until I have to go to work.
I'm also thoroughly disgusted with my toe. It felt a little sore today after soaking it in the Epsom salt bath, but I took a shower and it felt better. While I was in my shower, I decided to take a look at it because it looked like there was dried blood caked to the nail, but when I tried to scrape it off... there was nothing but flesh to scrap. I had thought the doctor was just going to remove the sliver that was ailing me, but instead he removed one third of the nail. ^;_;^ I feel all shivery thinking about it. It doesn't hurt, but I really feel like it should, especially since it keeps bleeding off and on.

I'm at a friend's house. We're going to be rehearsing our script today.

I assume answers to this topic's query are to exclude the obvious "Typing up a reply to this topic."
In that case, I am checking up on stuff on Gaia and here at FOG before going to work. Where do I work? Why, at a library, don'tchuknow.

Re: What are you currently doing?
Working at a library would be interesting.
I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with FOG on my Safari web browser. None of the buttons are showing up when I post (ie. Bold, Italics, Underline, Size, Color, etc.). I don't know what happened. It shows fine though on my Camino web browser, but I prefer my Mac's Safari. Sooo, hopefully they get that sorted out, otherwise this is going to be annoying to me and any other Mac users.

Re: What are you currently doing?
So I'm still at my friend's house, though I'm definitely thinking of leaving soon. We read through the script one time earlier today, but one of our actors wasn't here today, and we kinda needed her in order to really rehearse well. We were planning on trying to read through the script again when our second group of actors (who are in a separate scene, and so no one else is needed but them) were going to show up. Well, two out of three of them are here, but I highly doubt we'll be doing any reading.
I just finished drawing up outlines of both of the rooms in the house that we'll be using for different scenes, including doors and furniture and stuff. From there, I also finished outlining what camera angles I think might work well for the first scene. I'm not really feeling moving on to the second scene to do the same, even though that's the important one.

Re: What are you currently doing?
I finished a project on history. 2 question mini-essay asking me to write
a) an article corresponding to recently-arrived immigrant life in the early 1900s from a progressive point of view and
b) write a comparison/contrast from two different perspectives on the Wounded Knee Massacre, one from chief Black Elk and the other from President Benjamin Harrison.
T'was fun. Oh, and memorizing 100+ BIG pages WITH tiny LETTERING on industry, economics, politics, culture, etc? Fun, but kinda frustrating because there are so many little details. Oh well. It could be worse, it could be 100 pages of finance. *shudder*

Re: What are you currently doing?
I'm checking my email notifications. Seriously... I got online around 11pm, and I'm not even halfway through my emails despite it being half an hour later. Even as I check the ones that were there from earlier, I keep getting more! Stop being so active, people! My Internet and my reading speed are too slow for you!

Re: What are you currently doing?
About to take a shower. I've been blowing off plans with my friends latly so I'm going to see if they want to hang out today. I've been really lax in the friend department since shutting myself away from the outside world.
I'm also going through my gender preference moods. I moved out of really wanting a guy a few weeks ago, faded into liking girls more, and am now going through my asexual period. Which, in all due honesty, is a more productive period for me.

Re: What are you currently doing?
I just woke up... >.>;; On the bright side, it only took me one try to get a good connection as far as dial-up goes. I'm only satisfied if I get a 46.6Kbps, 48.0, or 49.2. Anything lower than 46.6 causes me to disconnect and reconnect until I get one of those three.
I think everyone should go through a period of asexuality. It would make all of us more productive.

Re: What are you currently doing?
Agreed. And for some, it lasts a lot longer.
I'm currently doing various things on the internet, all the while working (slowly) on a post for the roleplay I'm active in. I find that I come up with more ideas while I'm playing games like Tetris (or Bejeweled, at the moment) than when I'm staring at a word document.

Are you kidding? When I was a little kid, I had tons of crushes. My first crush was when I was like... two years old! I have never experienced any moments of asexuality.

I'm workin' on a Pandora post. I've gotta say, it's taking an entirely different direction than I had originally intended, and I have no idea where it's gonna end up yet.

Chemistry It's fairly interesting. It also helps to know that my sci-fi is rooted on several logical/academic/theoretical possibilities. I gots more powar!
Re: What are you currently doing?
Sometimes it's nice when a role play takes a different direction than intended. I used to not be as open to changes in direction, but now I'm better about it.
