I'm also still working on my profile. Weiss helped me out a bit, and since then I've had a burst of creativity when it came to revising, and the history's pretty much done. I'm tackling the personality now, and then I just have to write up the appearance, and... -trails off-

I'm trying to write my intro post to Kalon's Sephiris RP. I'm thinking its going to end up really long (perhaps three to four word pages) but since I've only got one character at the moment...well, yeah... I really like this character and theres a lot to write about.

Tony/onenitedrive and I just had a huge scare. We were on our bed watching TV, and he went and grabbed a kleenex, but I had lit candles in our bedroom, and some of the candles were on his nightstand. The kleenex accidently caught the flame of the candles and lit it. He blew it, thinking that it'd be easy to get out, but then the fire continued to grow and the kleenex burst into flames! He had to drop it, otherwise he'd get burned. (Although, he did get burned a little, but nothing serious -- thank goodness.) So, the kleenex fell, and the fire caught on his desk, keyboard, and on the carpet. I sprang out of bed as fast as I could and Tony tried to hit some of the flames out. I grabbed the fleece blanket on our bed and, full of adrenaline as these flames started to engulf our room, I lunged at his desk and then at the floor with the blanket, hoping to suffocate the flames. I managed to get the flames on his keyboard to disappear, then threw myself and the blanket onto the floor and under his desk, padding out the flames and then the remaining sparks.

We were able to put out the fires, much to our surprised relief, but my blanket and our carpet were burned in the process. We had to scrub the carpet just now and cut off the black tips of it, since they were burned and couldn't just be wiped off. My blanket is a causality, and now Tony and I are going to run to Target so I can purchase a new fleece blanket.

That was scary! I always wondered what it would be like to have to fight a fire if one started in our home. I always thought about that as a kid for some reason, I guess just because it scared me. I'm happy we handled it okay! My initial thought was to grab water as I got up out of bed, but I just knew without even thinking it over that that would take too long, and by the time I'd return with water, the flames would be far too much to put out with just a cup. So, we both did what we had to!

Thank goodness for quick thinking. It's always nice to know that you won't panic in a pinch like that. ^^_^^

Back with a new blanket now. This one's gray. The one that got burned/sacrificed itself was red hehe.
