I'm more of a comic book fan nowadays. However, I am currently watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and it is AMAZING! Buh, I can't get over what a great remake this is! The only thing that makes it better is my burrito. *noms on burrito*

Is FMA: Brotherhood a continuation of the anime, or something? I've heard it mentioned a few times in different places now, and I've seen the original anime, but I don't know what that is. o:

So I managed to catalog my Nancy Drew collection, and it only took a little over an hour and a half. Will be moving on to my Star Wars books when I feel like getting back in there, since that's bound to take even longer. Woo!

I'm watching Avatar! It's seriously an addiction, but a wonderful one. It's SO sad though what Appa has to go through when he and Aang are separated.

I'm seriously contemplating watching Avatar despite my will to finish tLotR first.

Maybe I'll watch one to five episodes a day or something. It'll take a long time, but at least I'll be refreshing my memory on the series in the event that I role play in the world. ^^_^^

Ah, I am extremely tired. I'm reading over all the new posts, and I wish I had the energy to reply to them. I went to bed waaay to late last night and woke up faaar too early this morning. (Our neighborhood squirrel - Squirrely - woke onenitedrive and I up with her loud barking/dying noises. xD Or at least, it sounds like a dying animal.)

Oh, but yeah, weird thing: Today, after completing Avatar, Tony managed to figure out something for the IRC chat he was working on all day, and at that same time, I had finally succeeded (after poking at it since yesterday) in pulling out a tiny speck of gravel that had seriously been stuck in my cheek for years and years (probably around 9). Nasty, huh??

When I was young, I was riding my bike, and a kid wasn't looking where he was going and ran his bike into the back of mine. He hit me hard enough, that I flew over the handle bars and landed face-first into the curb. I was totally fine, but my parents did have to take me to the ER, since I had gravel everywhere, including in my mouth, and was all bloody with scratches. Well, I guess they never fully got out all the gravel, since there has always been this gray spot on my cheek. I never really thought about it, since it happened when I was young, so it's always just been a part of me. Well, it's been annoying now that I'm an adult, since I try and cover up blemishes with makeup, obviously, but that gray spot could never be covered. So, I kind of thought about it for a sec, and realized that I should probably just try and see if there was anything inside, like gravel. So, after losing a bit of blood and hurting myself a little lol, I finally was able to remove a very old speck of gravel, and now my cheek is clear! It was rather liberating. It's always been there, this gray spot, and now that it's gone, it's a bit like losing a part of me...but a bad part. So, bye-bye gravel! You're busted!

So, that's what I was up to earlier. Oh, and grocery shopping. Bleh.

Now, it's obscenely hot, I'm about to pass out, and I'm wishing I had more Avatar to watch and relax to.

Lol aw! ^_^ Yeah, I was hoping that it wouldn't scar either, but my thought process was: Well, it was a scar to begin with, so I wouldn't be any worse off, and if it did leave a real scar, I might be able to get rid of it with those new scar medicines you can apply. So, I'm hopeful!

I'm beyond excited! Oh, and I'm also excited to hear that your boyfriend joining FOG, Kathryn. That's so awesome! ^^

Ah, yes! I would love to. I need to think up a character now. *ponders* It still feels like I can't be done with Avatar, lol. I guess I'm still absorbing it, because I just realized I need to watch that trailer you linked me to too!

Currently, I'm in Alaska, and am in love with this state. It's a whole different world out here... freezing ass cold in the mornings, too damn hot in the day. I think it's more because of humidity and contrast than anything else, it was only about 71 F today....

I've got settled in, the internet connection is shakey, but to be honest... it's so beautiful outside I have a hard time staying in doors. Okay, actually that's a lie, because the bugs here are so thick that we sometimes have to run inside to avoid them... with your mouth closed unless you want some extra protien

Day one: Stitched up two hands from fishing hook injuries... I wonder how many of these I'll see to... anyways, before I rant on: I shall be keeping something if a journal of my experiences here... because two days in, I've had a LOT....
