Fate is Moving!

I figured I should start a topic about this now while I still have a chance to.

I for sure will be moving out of my condo in a suburb of Chicago by August at the latest. That is the plan, and if that stays the plan, I will be doing a lot of packing and preparing up until then. However, if I get offered a job before that time, I could be moving as soon as two weeks from when I'm offered a job (so as to give my current employer a two-week notice). If that happens, I will be thrust into choatic, scramble-to-get-all-my-essentials-packed mode and will be very busy both working and running between my condo to Axiom's place, where I'll be moving.

(This paragraph no longer matters, as I didn't get this job or any other one I interviewed for.) A few days ago, I got a call about a job that I really would love to get (a photo editor for a catalog), and I'm supposed to hear back from them about having an in-person interview, so I'm really hoping that doesn't fall through, and if it doesn't, then I could be leaving here very soon, which is why I wanted to get this notice up for you guys.

I'm also gone every Friday afternoon through Tuesday, since I go back to the Quad Cities (where I will be moving back to).

So, just a head's up if you see any on-and-off activity between both myself and Axiom Awaits.

Good luck with the move! While I hope you get the job, I do hope that when it comes you will feel more excited than stressed out! Moving is such a bother, but when it's done you will feel so great

Well you've got a strong community set up here, so there shouldn't be much of a problem if the on-and-off thing occurs.

Good luck, and I hope you get the job! That sounds like a lot of fun. I remember wanting a job as a commercial artist years ago, but that was just a result of pressure from a bunch of college reps coming to my middle school and telling us kids that if we didn't start thinking about college then that we would be apart of the lousy, good-for-nothing population in America that makes minimum wage, has three kids when they're single, and can barely afford to put bread on the table. I'm glad they stopped that pathetic nonsense. Though I know many schools still have that issue.

Well, guys, this is the big week. I'm moving things around at Axiom's place to make room for all of my stuff, and then I'm headed back to my condo later on in the week with Axiom to finish cleaning everything and making it spotless while also packing the remainder of my things. Then this Saturday is my official move-out date.

During this week and into the weekend, Axiom and I probably won't be around very much. I'll check in when I can (between everything we'll be doing), but if anyone should have any problems or needs help with things, please PM an appropriate moderator for your inquiry. Thank you!

Also, starting next Monday (a week from today), Axiom starts his final semester at his college in addition to starting his first day at his new job. I just minutes ago got a call back about a job I applied to, so hopefully I'll be starting a job myself, so while I'd like to say we'll be back in full swing next week, Axiom at least will probably be a bit more busy, but of course will still be around when he can.

Well, I am now all moved in to Axiom's place. I just wanted to let you all know now that Axiom just started his new job today (as a website designer...among other things, like educating people on alternative energy sources), and also just today he starts his final semester at college, so he's going to be pretty busy, at least until he finishes up with school.

I also just recently got contacted by someone who is publishing a science fiction book to do the artwork for the cover of it, so I will be starting on that this week. I'm still looking for a job now that I moved here, but a temp agency that I'm leaving to meet with in just a minute is going to help me find one, so with them helping me out, I should have a job fairly soon.

Axiom and I will always be around no matter what, but if you notice weird fluctuations in our activity and whatnot, you kind of have an understanding as to why now.

Fate, that is really exciting for both you and for Axiom! You two really seem to be making progress in your lives. I hope that things continue to improve for you.

When you make the commissioned piece for that novel, I would love to see it! You should also let us know what the book is called and who writes it so all of FoG can bask in its FoG-Mother-Touched glory. XD

It's okay if there are lapses in your time on FoG. The rest of us can hold down the fort during them. ^^_^^
