I believe it is permitted, but I'll have to research some more. I will definitely put in a bit about FoG and maybe we'll attract some fresh meat - I mean, some fresh faces, haha.

I made it to 4,000 words today. Tomorrow I expect to get a good 3 or 4 thousand done as well. I introduced the good main character. It will be much easier now. ^_^

Barely got 2000 words out. it took and hour, but felt longer. I really struggled in progressing my story. Even so, I'm still ahead of schedule and I suppose this is what nano is all about! goodnight folks.

475 words short so far. Going to think about how I want the next scene to go down. I know what I want to happen but the order of events needs to be planned out. Otherwise there would be no drama and that is no fun. How is the day fairing for everyone else?

I have about 300 words so far today. I wrote that in about 5 minutes this morning before going to school

I didn't write at all yesterday...was gone all day and had company well into the night. Will try and do a two day catch up, 3000 words each day...but I may just have to admit that that was one of the five days off I had planned emergency room for

Looking at my stats, I am actually only 100 words behind, but I am still going to try and make up my extra words, so that I don't even have to think about Nanowrimo on thanksgiving!

Edit: I wrote almost 4000 words today. I am proud that I basically caught up on my slack yesterday and am still ahead of the game a little bit. YAY!

I am still about 6,500 roughly, I think, because I haven't written anything today yet and I didn't get to write yesterday, but I plan on catching up tonight. Hopefully I can even put in a few hundred security words.

Thank God for the weekends haha.

Wow Ragter! You are doing so, so incredibly well! You're trouncing the rest of us. At this rate, you're going to have 100 K by the end of November haha. Keep it up. It's awesome to hear that someone is doing so well.

Plus it motivates me to do better. I don't want to be the one lagging behind!

I am past 7 k now and took a break to watch some Disney movies with the boyfriend. But everyone is doing SO well. I can't even believe it.

Thanks for the praise (and envy) everyone. Though, you're all doing pretty good too; at the least, we're all attempting this, so that counts for something, right? Even if we don't happen to reach 50k.

As a side note: I'm trying to get cover art for the novel(for when it's eventually published near the end of all this) from another site. My fingers are crossed in hoping that it turns out well!

Hit a roadblock. I may not have enough time to keep up my word count this week. My good friend's dad died and I am going to be there with him for the funeral and visitations (one was tonight). Didn't even get to type at all today so now I think I am behind. Going to try and get some work done but it wont be enough to keep me ahead of the game.

Good work the rest of you though. Way to keep at it!

Oh dear. That is so sad. I hope things go smoothly and wish you the best of luck with the following days. I also offer huggles. It's good that you are going to be there for your friend. I'm sure he certainly needs the support. NaNo definitely takes backseat to this.

I'm not giving up on the contest. It's just going to be a lot harder for me to find enough time now. But you are right helping him comes first. I just don't like to give up but I figured I would let you guys know what was going on. If I disappear for a few days you know that I am busy with my friend.

Made it past 10,000 this morning.

Got to write another 2000 words this afternoon to keep to my pace. But I got past another difficult scene that I had no idea how to get through by sleeping on it. ^_^
