In the world of Teà Lar, a world ruled by the powerful and noble werewolves, humans born unto this world become servants or slaves depending on their families.
Never in all of her eighteen years, Rosalin would never have foreseen the fate that would soon be hers. Rosalin served as a royal attendant to the queen mother of the Alpha male within the region she lived, her job to help the queen mother prepare for each and every day and assist the she-wolf for special days and ceremonies.
Today was a special day for the werewolves of the southern region of Teà Lar, their Alpha male chose this day to assemble every available she-wolf to the palace for an attempt to sense his mate among them, if she was even born yet.

All Rosalin was supposed to was assist the queen mother in her robes meant for ceremonies and hand the old she-wolf over to her son, the Alpha male. This however would turn out as no one would have ever suspected.
When the strong and proud son of the former wolf queen arrived for his mother, he stood frozen when he saw Rosalin. He stared at her a very long time before he announced to his mother and Rosalin that he had sensed his mate.
