I complain that I can't wear my new boots because they hurt my gross toe... This thing better heal up soon. It's disgusting and sore. ._.

So much for celebration... oddly enough, I LIKE the fuzzy, numb feeling.
Big, wet licks, Lara. That's the trick. Then it won't get stuck.

Haha, I'll keep that in mind next time, but my freezer just likes to make things so cold that it's hard to not get your tongue stuck.

I complain that my friend has made me want to play Soul Caliber, but despite thinking for some reason that I own one of the games, I can't find it anywhere.

I have discovered one person on this forum who does not belong here, in my opinion, because their writing is sub-par... This makes me very very very sad. Like... you have no idea how deeply remorseful I feel about this.
Argh! I hope you find it. Man... I played Soul Caliber with my dad and my little step-brother. The only character I could get a good handle on was Talim, and once I became comfortable, I kicked everyone's asses to the max... That was... until my father decided to use Ivy... then he pwned me hard-core... It sucked...

I'm sorry to hear that, Kathryn. I hope it's not me. ):
I dunno, I was starting to really think that I got it used somewhere, but now that I can't find it anywhere I think I might have passed it up. This will have to change soon, in order to quench this urge.
I recall liking to play as Sophitia when I played at a friend's house.

I don't like fish sticks, they look and taste disgusting.
They are either undercooked or overcooked, there is no neutral zone for fish sticks.

I complain that, even though the thermostat in my apartment says 72 degrees, I'm still FREEZING. And I also have to go to bed now so I can rehearse my presentation tomorrow morning. That means no more writing today for me...

I complain that Windows Vista is stupid. D:< And that the rest of the technological world is stupid, too.
You'd think that as our technology advanced, we'd make sure it would be able to support older technology as well. Like the Gameboy Advance that also played Gameboy Color games, or the DS that played GBA games. Or even the Wii that played Gamecube games, though that's somewhat different. But the option is still there!
But no, instead, we get too filled with the idea of making money. Or we decide that since it's older technology, why bother? What's the harm in countless games and items becoming obsolete because our systems no longer support them?
As much as I get irritated by the thought that if I buy a PS3, I have to keep my PS2 around because the 'new and improved' console doesn't support older games, or anything of the like, right now I'm talking more about Windows Vista. I have yet to discover what makes it so high-and-mighty aside from the fact that a good portion of computer CDs meant for Windows XP and below don't seem to want to work on it.
Right now, I just finished my attempt at installing Age of Empires II, which is supported up through Windows XP. I managed to get the game installed, but only because I clicked on random buttons until I finally got through the installation process. Why? Because while the buttons appeared and were clickable, nothing else was. No, or next to no, text showed up to let me know what I was clicking on. I only hope the game will actually play.
(... ... So, now that the game's actually installed, I don't feel nearly so angry, but... It's such a long, pretty rant that I can't help but post it anyway. Plus, it made me feel better.)

Technology is evil, yes I agree. Try wiping your entire computer and then chucking the computer out the window and then go out and get totally smashed.
This solves all techno problems.

No, Lara. It's not you. I don't think we've played together, but I'm sure you're a good and a competent writer. :: hugs ::
I've never really had that problem... I guess it's more apparent if you're a gamer.

Cyber - No, that'd just make me angry again.
Kathryn - I'm so glad to hear that. Thank you. =) Yeah, I suppose that would be the problem. Everything else probably works alright, though there are so many little features that irk me with Vista (like that stupid 'webcam bar' that I can't seem to get rid of).
I alter my complaint slightly to include the fact that, despite the box saying "Age of Empires II: Gold Edition", and supposedly including "Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings", and "Age of Empires II: Conquerors" in it, I apparently only have Conquerors and... Age of Empires in it. Which renders the first unusable, and the latter not what I'm looking for at all.
Hmm... Time to go investigate.

Fingers going to fall off! Backgrounds are hard to draw ... and I'm still unsure on how good it looks - even though every body said it was snazzy.
Fate would do a much better job -_-
Complaining that I suck at backgrounds.

Complaining that by the time I get home from work everyone is asleep, and I can't write because it will wake up theoden, and I can't talk because no one is on. I'm also complaining that I'm whining about not being able to talk. Me? Since when did I care?

I'm complaining about global warming and how McDonalds makes Americans fat!
I demand that the fat people eat less, and that the sun switch to energy efficient bulbs.
That is all.

Noes! Sunburn is awesome! (Especially since I'm resistant )
And I demand that more people do sports. For FUN. Not to masochistically punish themselves for living unhealthy. SPORTS IS NOT A FREAKIN THERAPY. ITS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN.
God how I hate all those people who go jogging because they're 'fat' or who go into the gym to 'gain muscle'. Dumbasses.

Perhaps utilize geothermal heating/cooling for areas that apply or installing wind turbines or solar panels to provide power to their house. Those things will be well worth their cost when the zombie apocalypse comes.
I’m complaining about the 2.5 weeks until I can be back in Oklahoma and pick out the dog I want from the breeder. So help me if that “other couple” picks out the one I have my eyes on!

Ugh! I wish that my dressier shoes didn't hurt so much. Frilly button down blouses and long flowing skirts don't go well with sneakers! I don't think my new shoes quite understand that and thus seem to want to make moving from place to place a grueling task. T_T They were so comfy when I first wore them around, what happened?

I complain that this year isn't over with yet. I really, really wish that Tony and I could just jump through time into a year from now. I'd had graduated, and we'd be married and ready to move out to the Seattle area! Ahh, it seems like so much will be happening almost all at once: graduation, marriage, and moving to a new state across the country. It'll be exciting though!
Re: The Complaints Thread >:(
Wow, that does sound exciting, Fate! But don't ignore all the exciting things that will inevitably happen between now and a year from now. After all, you can never relive the present, and once that year is gone, there's no way to get it back. And think of it this way: you still have all the fun parts of planning the wedding!
EDIT: I complain that I've been busting my butt over this research presentation, and I still have to cut out a bunch of stuff. Apparently I was talking too fast for my audience today when we got together to practice.

Thanks, Silvan, and that is true. I'm sure there will be some good things in this year that will happen. There just haven't been almost any in these past 2 years since we moved here together. (We really hate living here.) It makes it easy to want to move away fast. Lol oh and yes! Wedding planning! XD
Yikes, research presentation? I hope that goes well for you. I have that same problem sometimes too when giving speeches.
I complain that some people enjoy causing drama a little too much to be considered...sane.
