*deep breath*
I complain that all eletrical sockets in my room are shot. I spent the first part of today looking for my spare laptop charger because the other one burnt out. I then spent the rest of said day watching my overly hyper brother who likely has ADHD and should never have sugar. To top it off I walked in the rain to school yesterday because no one would drive me nor did I have an umbrella, I then sat soaked in a freezing air conditioned class room. Because of this I now have a cold and a headache that could take down and elephant.
Now I'm sick as a dog, tired from watching my brother, pissed because I can't manage to focus on anything because of it, and about to pass out in my room.
Oh, did I mention the sockets in my room still run the risk of setting on fire while I sleep? No? Well they do. >/

I complain that people are stupid.
Just because a character uses blood to fight does not make them a vampire. That makes no damn sense actually. Would a starving man use a hot dog to fight? Normally, no, he'd eat it because he's(duh) starving. I swear, the lack of cohesive and original thought on other roleplay sites is near gone. -___- I don't know what I'd do without FOG.

Re: The Complaints Thread >:(
Hrrrrrrm... I am in a rather detestable mood at the given moment.
For several days now, one of the RPers on an RP in which I am the OP in has been promising me a post (her starter post for the newborn story). Constantly, she pushes it back. "I'm almost done with it." "It'll be ready tomorrow or the day after." "It's just that starter posts always stump me XD". Finally, I decided I was going to help her get through this "writer's stuck" and get her going... but no, no, no, she never has time. She's either in a raid in WoW, out, RPing with another friend, or just not in the mood. It's never the green light. After more than four days of this I've gotten to the point where I am this close of telling her she better move her ass and take this RP - and her fellow RPers - seriously or maybe she's better off not being a part of it. Honestly, I already knew of her busy tendency to have a mouth full of activities which is why, before she joined, I told her this was a SERIOUS RP and that she had to be able to keep up. I told her if she couldn't make a post because of an emergency then it was fine.
However, she's taken my patience far FAR too leniently.
So, I am going to give her the choice between the blue pill and the red. If she really doesn't want to be a part of this, fine, I don't want to burden her nor have her burden me. If she does want to be a part of it but is too incompetent to even make a simple little starter post then she is either a liar in saying she is a competent RPer or she just doesn't give a ****.
THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is what is irking me. I generally don't take RPs this seriously but in this case I was going for a clean, professional RP with only writers whom I trusted would be good additions. Lag in this race and I won't be carrying the pieces for you. I should NOT be forced to push you and I really hate doing so, but if you don't move... I'm going to stop pushing and let you fade into oblivion.
*exhales*
And that is my rant for today. Thank you.

Embarrass him with baby footprint moldings. Show it to its ghastly feet friend! I bet you his friends, Toes Of Ghouls and Ankles of Goblins, will really crack up and make it turn from pale white to transparent.
THAT will learn him not to hide stuff from mommy.

I complain that I'm feeling really left out right now. ): My friend and her boyfriend are in the other room with my friend's brother and his friend, watching something or another. I don't really want to join them.
I always end up feeling like this, though, when it's just me, my friend, and her boyfriend. >.> It was fine up until my other friend had to leave, but now it's just the three of us.
I'm thinking of calling my folks to pick me up. I don't feel like sitting here by myself, practically being ignored.

You got us...
But the feeling is understandable. Try to get in on their activities, though. Talk with them, ask what they're doing. Questions are a great way to join in.
Now, if they are talking about very private matters and make it clear (touching, kissing, etc... unless they're the kind of couple that does that ALL the time) then it would be best to leave. Sometimes, the sad choice is the right choice. Regardless, I hope your day improves

for Lara. Feeling like the third/fifth wheel some days just really stinks. Is there nothing else you can do, to pass the time, before the calling of the parents? (Though if it's close to dinner time... that might not be a bad idea... >.> <.< )

Complaint:
I believe my friend has blown me off for the night. He was supposed to come over at four, and now it's almost seven. I cleaned the house and turned down two other friends so we could just hang out, and he hasn't even called me to let me know he can't do it. I just got off the phone with his gramma, who told me he PROBABLY WON'T MAKE IT.
Thus, I'm going to be home alone til midnight, which absolutely SUCKZ.

o.O Why 'til midnight, Eternity? Can't you just... go out somewhere? No sense in waiting on him now, I'd imagine - but I'm a little not-so-nice. I'd be hacked off even if he showed up five minutes from now, for keeping me waiting for three hours, and probably not very good company anyway.

I don't usually give dating advice, because I have a string of failures in my wake, but failures are good things to learn from. I usually don't give advice, but this situation sucks so hard, been there, that I'm going to break my usual rule of silence about doing more than nodding.
So here goes: Only go through this once. By that, I mean don't ever go out of your way again for this guy.
By the way, when you do show that you have enough self-respect to hold it against him, I wouldn't let yourself be sweet talked into forgiving him and letting him make it up to you with a raincheck; he's not doing it to make amends to you as much as to feel absolved. Once that bell is rung, you won't be able to unring it, either. In the future, I would not to rely on the dude and don't throw off friends for a douchebag that leaves you hanging after you make specific plans; he knew you were waiting and didn't have the courtesy to drop a line, but instead leaves you waiting and wondering, feeling miserable?
No one's worth that shit.
Take it from someone who knows. If they can't call to cancel, it's a huge, flashing red sign on their end. I won't try to speculate why, but almost all the reasons they can't man up and make a quick call to get you off the hook for the night so you can make other plans are bound to be fucked up.
Last edit, I'm leaving that post alone now. But yeah, that's the biggest scuzz move in the book, I've seen friends do it to women and had one woman do it to me three times before I wised the hell up and stopped letting them pull that trick on me more than one time it took for me to stop calling them or returning calls, e-mail, IM's, etc. Being able to break a date maturely is one of my benchmarks now.

Re: The Complaints Thread >:(
We already ate dinner, before my other friend went home. And I don't really know how I would have passed the time... Technically, I shouldn't even have to 'pass time' at my friend's house, since she and her boyfriend probably should have been hanging out with me as well.
I didn't really feel like I could join in on their activities. Like I said, they were off in her brother's bedroom (with her brother and his friend) watching something or another, and the door was shut. I'm pretty sure they had been in there for the past fifteen to twenty minutes (though it might have just felt that way), and I hadn't realized they'd be in there that long. Her brother and his friend are two of the actors for our script, so at first I thought my friend was talking to them about the script a bit more. But they were definitely just hanging out, and didn't even bother to mention to me that they were doing so, or invite me to watch, too.
I ended up calling my dad about five or so minutes after making my initial post. My friend actually looked confused to hear that I was leaving when I finally knocked on the door and stuck my head in. At least she bothered to get up and walk me out.
I dunno. I'm kinda not in a very happy mood right now from all of that.
Eternity -- Aw, that stinks. I've had that problem before, where a friend was supposed to call early in the day so we could hang out (she was actually supposed to be sleeping over), but she didn't call or anything. I finally called her at five, and she didn't get online till 6, when she was like "oh, is it okay if I don't come over till nine or ten?" and then she didn't end up coming over at all. Still, your friend's a bit of a jerk to not give you a heads up.

Ahhhh... my apologies, Lara. No idea why, but for some reason, I had it in my head that your friend = roommate when I mentioned "passing the time," and that calling your parents was just more of a "get me outta here for a while" thing.
So no, wholeheartedly agree - you should not have had to "pass the time" while a guest at your friend's house - leaving you there was just rude. And if you were supposed to be working on a project, too? I'd have been livid...

BAH CURSE WORDS!!!!!
I went bra shopping today. Apparently I'm now a DD. Oh happy happy joy joy! Now not only will bra shopping become even harder, but more expensive too! How delightful. DX What the hell boobs? You aren't supposed to grow anymore! It isn't like I'm pregnant or gained weight. Ugh, they better stay this size or I'm going to need breast reduction surgery!
Curse words, curse words, curse words, frustration.

I don't understand your joke, Adrius... =\
Lara, your friend sounds like a jerk. Why would they just get up, go to her brother's room, and shut the door? W... T... F... You either need to confront her, or you need a new friend. Was this girl the same one who stood you up that one night? I remember you mentioned something about that at the time it happened.
Eternity, some friends are just assholes. He probably forgot about you. I've had friends do the same thing to me. It's lame.
I complain that I have a headache.
I also complain that, despite putting two Band Aids over my gross toe, stuff still managed to seep out and drench the toe of my sock while I was at work for six hours. It still doesn't hurt, though. ^^_^^;;

Ouch, Kathryn. Your doctor visit didn't sound pleasant either. I really hope that I never have to experience an ingrown toenail of that magnitude. It sounds quite troublesome.
Let's see... Well, I should probably be in bed now. I've been tired lately, because of Lady Flow, and actually ended up drifting off into 2 naps today. XD I do need more sleep though. Monday will be here before I know it! That is always something worth complaining about - at least for me.

Re: The Complaints Thread >:(
Yeah, Kathryn, it's the same friend. We get along so well most of the time, but issues like the ones I've mentioned already are starting to try and pop up, ever since she went and found herself that boyfriend. Most of the problems I have with her these days do seem to end up being related to him at some point or another.
I can't decide if I'm just jealous that she's spending so much time with him, or if a lot of the anger and frustration I feel about him + her is justified.
