Re: The Complaints Thread >:(
Despite washing my hands thoroughly, my fingertips are still burning after I cooked dinner with raw jalapeno peppers this evening.
They aren't burning like they did that first time I used them but dang, they still burn.
I'd hate to think what it's like if I cooked with habaneros without washing, last time. I'd probably still be feeling it.

Try dipping them in milk, that's suppose to help or something.
ps- The hell with room mates. You can't trust them. Now I'm having to move back in with rents to save money for a new place!

Sucks, bro. But then again, so many people are doing it right now thanks to the economy...
Yeah, it's not bad enough for me to go wasting milk. Maybe a little salt or saliva, which has salt content in it, to help neutralize it.

Hey, that's working.

I know the best thing for a burning mouth is bread ((not milk, water, or soda because they all just swish the burning around the mouth)). I wonder if pressing burning fingers into a slice of bread would help.

Re: The Complaints Thread >:(
Ok soo...I really need to vent and you guys are always here so. Here's the deal:
My husband is currently deployed out at sea but stationed in Virginia Beach, VA, while I'm living in Texas still with my family. Whenever he graduated from his schooling I was supposed to move up to VA with him, but they changed his orders. And so while I had everything packed and ready to moved, they sent him off to some damn boat in the middle of friggin' no where (Persian Gulf to be more specific).
Ok now they're on their way back and supposed to be home the 30th of this month and I'm just about to rip my hair out because I still can't find a place for us to live! Ok let me rephrase that...it's not that I can't...because I can...but when you've been denied by THREE different apartment complexes because you have NO credit (hey I'm only 19 about to be 20 and it's not exactly easy to come by as I'm sure some of you are aware of) it starts to get to you.
I just can't take it anymore! I have 2 and a half weeks to find a place to live...and drive me and some of our stuff up there so I'm there when he gets back! It's either that or I don't move up there period because that's what the Navy does is screws you! Actually I think it's just military in general. But yeah...you're probably (if familiar with the military) wondering why we don't just live on base! Well that would be because the waiting list...is a year and a half long.
So either way I'm screwed and about to scream because I'm getting sick of all of this!!!

Re: The Complaints Thread >:(
A lot of the apartment complexes will do that to you, Sigh. What you might need to start doing is looking for house for rent around there, because I'm sure that a lot of landlords won't run a credit check. When you fibally get something situated, for Christ's sake, get a frigging credit card and set up some credt. I'm 19, won't turn 20 till April, and I've got a credit score of 671 already

Yeah, it's a real bitch without a co-signer the first time around, especially if you're trying to get a half-decent place.

Hey I have a credit card! And student loans and that evidently doesn't seem to be working.
Re: The Complaints Thread >:(
Hmm.
I would like to vent here about lots of things that nag me, and there's lots of stuff not running smooth for a longer or shorter time, now.
But me ranting here wouldn't change a damn thing. That's one complaint for sure.
The other complaint is that I'm pretty helpless in the matter and can't even fix it myself.
My family is a bunch of faggots and my circle of friends seem to distance themselves from me little by little at the moment.
Oh and just a final note, I'm a wicked, psychologically scarred person under a calm, paissonate and a little bit extravagant shell. But somehow I play the game so well that no one realises and no one cares. And that's pretty much a problem in itself, since I DO want people to care. And deep in my mind, I still think that no one, really no one likes me for the person I am (oh sure, there's people who like me, I think, but why? Because I try too hard to make them like me. o.O) Go me! *makes appointment at a headshrinker's...*
thinking about it, I should really do try one.. *googles on how to make an appointment which the insurance will pay*

I've had a stressful week so far, and I feel horrible for not being able to do any posts here for rp yet. Not only that I'm suffering some writers block at the moment, feels like I've been robbed.
I'm sure it will pass and I'll get through it, I just hope it passes soon-as I'm off for two days.

Re: The Complaints Thread >:(
I'm complaining because, for the last few days, my toe has really been aching. It's swollen and a little purple on one side, and it excretes a bit of puss. Not a lot and not often, but when I wake up it's kind of there, and yesterday when I got home from work. However, I've been bathing it in Epsom salt since it really started hurting. Last night I started using peroxide on it, and I put neosporin on it before I put my foot in my sock before work today. It doesn't hurt a lot, but it hurts just enough that I don't want to put any pressure on it, so I try to keep the toe lifted far away from the floor/ground when I walk around which makes me look like I'm limping... I hate feeling like I look like a retard. ._.

Have you had it checked out by the doctor? That sounds very painful =/.

My complaint is that I'm so horrible at finishing things. In my open tabs alone, I have seven things that I've started/opened to look at, and haven't seen through to the end. >.< Including the third Book of Avatar...

Re: The Complaints Thread >:(
Complaining that I buggered up my ear piercing and its bloomin' painful! I re-pierced it myself for 4th July so I could wear my dangly earrings with my snazzy outfit. However now its a little swollen and because I removed some of the scar tissue it was left red raw on Monday. I think its getting better but its hard to tell Right now it just stings a lot. Its not that painful ... otherwise I'd have removed the earring and let it close up on Monday ... its just not a comfortable feeling.
Re: The Complaints Thread >:(
That's what happens when you repierce or first pierce ears. Be sure to keep it really clean. Also, make sure you're wearing real metal like gold or silver. If it's fake, it could make it harder to heal and to keep clean.

Re: The Complaints Thread >:(
Yah. I need to invest in some real studs over the weekend ... the original butterfly-backings are tainted. Right now wearing the most comfortable earrings that I can keep clean but its not ideal, like you said.
I got them pierced at age 16, but they ended up closing when I left the earrings out for too long. Got them re-pierced last year, which they part closed (due to me leaving earrings out again -_-) I re-opened them up on Sunday for pretty earrings and screwed it by removing scar tissue on Monday. Good times.
Thanks for the tip

Not a full complaint, if only because I got a good deal of money from today's expedition.
Worked from 4-11:30. Got home past midnight. There was no sitting down to be had until now. Everything huuuuurts.

I complain that I'm randomly depressed for no reason whatsoever. I'd blame PMS, but I have no bleeding, no cramps, and no vagina (dammit!). My only conclusion is that moving sucks. I WANT RL FRIENDS AGAIN, DAMMIT.
Re: The Complaints Thread >:(
I screwed up. My dad was asking me a question and I snapped at him for no reason, and now he's really mad. But not only am I awful at apologizing, he's in such a mood that it probably won't affect him right this moment even if I did...

Re: The Complaints Thread >:(
My mom pisses me off about our wedding (which is not until July 17th, 2010). We're trying to look into invitations right now, and if you figure one single invite is a little over a dollar, then a hundred invitations is going to be over one hundred dollars. Nice invitations too range from $3-$6 per invite (and usually come with an RSVP card too). So, you'll end up spending between $300-$600 for all the invitations (depending on the number of people you need to invite, obviously). My mom keeps thinking she's only going to spend around $150 for it all. And yet, at the same time, she wants REALLY fancy invitations. All the ones I've shown her that I like and that fit our ocean theme so far, she thinks aren't fancy enough. She drives me crazy! She also constantly complains about how expensive weddings are, and yet, again with her stupid contradictions, she was the one forcefully pushing Tony and I toward getting engaged. She also is the one who wanted us to be married around the time I graduate. She makes no sense. She also still constantly tells me that we should just elope to Vegas to save all this money. That is so tacky, and that is NOT how I picture my wedding day. No thank you. Maybe some people want that, but not me.
Grrr, she needs to realize that I don't ever plan on marrying again and that this isn't like it's going to be an annual thing. It's a once-in-a-lifetime thing. I'm not asking for anything nice. I want a very small, very private wedding. I want a fairly average dress. I want fairly average invitations. But in her mind, she wants to get everything for dirt cheap but all elegant and fancy! For awhile, she didn't want me to even spend $300 on a wedding dress!! I don't know if she realizes how expensive wedding gowns are. She is just the most stupid lady sometimes, I'm sorry.
On top of that, she keeps calling me between 3-6 times a day! She doesn't leave me alone, and she calls to ask the most miniscule things: "Did you get the letter I sent you? Did you get the package I sent you? Did you watch such and such on Animal Planet?" Ah, those are all yes or no questions. It's not worth a phone conversation. She can just e-mail or text me. She just wants to talk forever - that's why.
My mother...

XD
My mother in law is like that. She constantly calls me all the time to ask me random questions that she could easily text me.
As for my wedding, hell, I didn't even have a dress. I wore a white top and a white skirt and we got married in front of a Justice of the Peace in a courthouse. D:
What? We were 18...
Anyway, if that was my mom, I'd be pissed too.
