Re: The Complaints Thread >:(
I am complaining that those role plays ((minus Digimon because I could never get into it)) of Fate's sound like they could all be potentially made of awesome, but I can't join any of them because I'm already involved in so many that, with my lack of ambition, it would be impossibly insane for me to try to do them all. :: sighs ::

Re: The Complaints Thread >:(
Aww, Kathryn. That's too bad. I'm glad that you are interested in those topics though, minus Digimon. I know what it's like to be involved in a lot of role-plays at once though. It can get overwhelming fast. *hugs*
I still can't make up my mind. In addition to that, even if I did, I'd still have to think up an interesting plot and setting.

Maybe by the time you decide and make all the preparations for it, I'll be able to play, too.

Nice, that's kind of you to offer. Thanks! I may have to take you up on that offer.Spectre wrote:Well... I'm usually pretty good with feeding flames of ideas. Though 'usually' doesn't mean always... however im always wiling to help

hahahah Yes... It's happening... It's horrible! ^o_o^ Men have it lucky. I bet even Shrödinger wouldn't want this despite his yearning for a way to carry babies to term.

I never look forward to those monthly visits. xD Lol, I'm betting he wouldn't!
Re: The Complaints Thread >:(
I honestly only like them if I'm getting lucky. They're my guarantee that I didn't get the baby STD. After the first two days of it, I'm totally sick of it, though. At the moment, I'm not getting lucky, so this is not a relief at all.

Fate Foretold wrote:For the past week or so now, I have been trying to decide on what kind of role-play I want to start (as I am longing to start one of my own here), but I just cannot, for the life of me, decide on what I want to do. Right now, I am currently stuck somewhere in the middle of Digimon, a modern dragon story (inspired by this image), a mutant role-play, or The Matrix. I'm into a lot of things right now, and usually I jump between moods of what I am really into. (I always have done this, even as a kid.) So, I'm just trying to pinpoint what I like and feel like right now, but I just can't! It's annoying.
DRAGON OR MATRIX, PLEASE.
*huggles Fate, is cute* Pwease.
Re: The Complaints Thread >:(
I'm with the Fuzzball on this one Dragons!! I have actually been having the same dilema in a slightly different variation. I have wanted to join an RP over here or start my own, but RP's on RPGateway are keeping me busy and making it hard for me to do anything here.....murrr....hopefully when they end I can devote my time mostly to FOG.

Dragons is even better than Matrix! Listen to Fluffy and John Travolta!

Guys, she already decided on The Matrix.

Aww. I'm sorry, Anaris. It's probably best this way. You can probably actually plan the next pregnancy now, though.

I'll be back, Sammy: Apparently the geniuses that run the Hardee's that my girlfriend works at decided that it would be an awesome idea for her to clock in at 4 and then send her home early at 6...when she was onlly supposed to work till 8 anyway =P Cest la vie, I reckon.
And, on the pregnancy note... LE GASP!!! Since when was there gonna be another one?!?!

Hopefully.
You never know what might happen.
We think that test was wrong because I've had morning sickness for the past week.

Gunneh: Shit happens. I kinda want to be pregnant. I love the feeling and plus, I've been wanting another baby.
Weird, I know, but thats just how I am.

Ugh, I just got royally screwed...
The short version: I won't get to be a graphics specialist.
The long version: My recruiter called me this morning and told me that the SC Nat'l Guard has stopped all recruiting except for recruits currently processing. This is because the fiscal year ended the other day, so any job that wasn't at a predetermined percentage becomes closed...until October!
What this means is that my job slot (an unusual one) is now closed, and I have to choose from a short, bitter list. Normally, I would wait, but my housing 'deal' that I have worked out with my friend demands that I stay committed, so I'm gonna get stuck in a job that I don't want or be forced to move out!
It's not all bad though, the unit I'm getting stuck with operates about 10 miles from my house, wheras the graphics job operates about 150 miles away. It's a shorter drive, but it's not what I wanted to do. The other good thing is that after I've served 6 months with the new unit, I can request a unit change. It won't guarantee anything, but it's better than being stuck with it without the possibility of getting out.
If I'd known that the recruiting was going to cut off, I'd have joined a long time ago. Apparently, this has not happened before, so there wasn't a way to prepare for it other than just doing it earlier.
Anyway, I'm upset now. I won't get the graphics familiarization I wanted (my main reason for joining in the first place) but at least I'll have a shot at getting it around this time next year. I didn't want to do it as a college class because I could get the credits from BCT (bet you didn't know that the army gives out college credits!) and skip all the BS math that you totally don't need to learn how to use the graphics programs.
On the bright side, I will still have a place to live, and will have slightly more time do do stuff I want to do.

I'm complaining that the complaints thread is almost twice as long as the celebration thread...it's a bit depressing.
Re: The Complaints Thread >:(
That's how it usually goes. People often see the worst in things. I know I'm a pessimist. However, you should remember that not every post in this thread is a complaint. Some of comfort posts, and some are chatty.
