This archive holds the characters I've used (and remembered) over time. While they are few, several have been recycled. I'll start by the most prominent and then go from there.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Magister Adrius Frostglare

Universe: World of Warcraft

Age: 28 (died at 21)

Race: Forsaken Undead

Description: Adrius' jaw is dislocated and his eyes are missing, replaced by two cold orbs of arcane ice. His skin is a pale blue and his hair is short and black. His body is blotched by areas where hypothermia settled in due to frostbite.

"Philosophy" Archives 15195864

Summarized history: Born Adrius Galsaius Farlooker to Nelis and Philip Farlooker in Hillsbrad Foothills. At age 10, was forced to leave his farm for refuge along with his family when they found Moeira Farlooker, an elf who had been adopted by Adrius' grandfather years ago and had been kidnapped by a rival family years after that. In an attempt to escape, Adrius' parents sent them both to respective academies (Adrius to Dalaran's mage school, Moeira to the Cathedral of Lordaeron). Studied six years of magic in Dalaran before graduating.

Served five years as a councilman in Stratholme with Moeira as his assistant, whom he had a deep friendship with. Moeira left for Lordaeron a day before the Culling of Stratholme, which Adrius barely escaped. He remained hospitalized in Dalaran for months. He killed 20 students in a grief and rage-conjured blizzard when he learned Lordaeron, and likely Moeira, had been ravaged by the Scourge, now under Arthas. Was imprisoned in the Violet Hold to await execution for his crime, but was released due to the need for able magi to fend off the Scourge. Perished defending Dalaran when he fought against archlich Kel'thuzad and lost.

He became a candidate for lichdom after being raised back by the Scourge, being offered a relic staff for such a purpose. Before he was strong enough to take it, however, the undead Civil War began and he was freed. Fought against the Scourge and took the staff, Winterlord, as his own. Found Moeira and married her post-undeath (something most Forsaken see as abominable) and pledged to serve the Dark Lady. Years later, he was sent against his will to the Caverns of Time to help in Stratholme's Culling.

When he returned he was not the same and vowed to overthrow Sylvanas, whom he believed to be uncaring of her people. During this time, he and Moeira adopted a child, Faro'fal Frostglare. His wife died in the Battle of Undercity (his son survived but was greatly scarred mentally), which he fought in, once again filled with a grievous vengeance. Left the Horde and the Forsaken, believing Sylvanas' incompetent blindness for keeping a demon as her second in command was at fault for his wife's death. Currently resides in Dalaran, in Northrend, trying to provide and raise for his son while coping with the loss of his wife.

Personality: Adrius is calculative and analytical with a fierce belief in the free will of all existing things. He is vengeful only against those that harm him, his son, or his friends and will not hesitate to kill demons, Scourge, or Scarlet Crusaders, among others. He is solemn after Moeira's death, rarely socializing beyond those that would approach him. He dislikes pity, which he describes as being seen as unable to have free will, but welcomes compassion, which he sees as understanding of another's pain. He is often too self-sacrificing for his own good, even tossing himself into dangerous situations, a trend which has died down quite a bit since Moeira's passing (he believes that if he'd not been gone, he would have been able to protect her and Faro).

Well, there's a LOT more to the story than that, but I don't have the space/time to do so. Considering I stopped playing WoW, he might never resurface, but he is my main character to the end and one of my all-time favorites.

I'll write more entries as I go.

((Here's another!))

Benedin Darker

Universe: World of Warcraft

Age: 44 (died at age 37)

Race: Forsaken Undead

Description: Benedin's skin is a pale gray. He is missing his right eye and much of his right cheek. His remaining eye is black with golden irises. His hair, once a golden blond, has faded to a sandy color, though it is neatly kept and is fairly long, ending just below the neck. Benedin's face is somewhat oval shaped. He stands at 5'6'' and is generally clad in black leathers. On his chest, Benedin has a distinctive, black scar that seems to have been branded into his chest, marking him to have once been part of the Cult of the Damned.

"Philosophy" Archives Benedindarker

Summarized history: Benedin Darker, known to some as "The Demon Barber of Rogues' Quarter", was born in Stormwind before moving to Lordaeron alone at the tender age of 10. There, he set up his own barber shop when he was old enough.

Soon, he was contacted by the Cult of the Damned, who knew dark secrets of his past, and persuaded him to join them by using his barber shop as a slaughterhouse to gain new bodies to raise as undead. Eventually, the operation was discovered and the Cultists, with Benedin in tow, were forced to retreat.

Benedin was taught the art of assassination in Scholomance, one of the Cult's bases of operation. He also learned immensely on biology and alchemy. For reasons not disclosed, Benedin betrayed the Cult and began murdering members. He was discovered, captured, and imprisoned.

Benedin was forced to face the Ravenian, a monstrous undead, when he was tossed into prison. He barely defeated the creature and began to starve in the months that followed. Desperate for food, Benedin turned to the only source there was: the Ravenian's rotting corpse. He died due to desperately eating plagued meat and was raised as an undead as a result.

Eventually, his chance came to escape. Benedin killed two wardens and escaped Scholomance. He eventually found his way to the Forsaken and joined their ranks, becoming one of their elite spies and assassins.

Much has happened since then... and much more happened during those events, but I'll leave it at this.

Personality: Benedin is a harsh and even sadistic killer. He is hardly afraid of anything. A brutal perfectionist and stalwart professional, Benedin is never in the mood for nonsense. He is often portrayed as angry and explosive, but not foolish. He is, above all, arrogant and proud. Benedin is also highly paranoid, with a great bounty on his head, and very distrusting of anyone he meets. He'll hardly hesitate to eliminate threats.

Personal items: Benedin's most prized possessions are his 1 1/2 foot-long razors. Made of a saronite-turesilver alloy (the truesilver is to make it look deceptively beautiful and, hence, like a harmless heirloom), the razors remain perpetually sharp. Their hilts are engraved magnificently and they end in devious, sharp, parallel tips, which makes them capable of stabbing. He carries them with him at all times and remain to date his most notable weapons along with the various malefic concoctions and poisons he uses as well as his cloak of throwing knives.

Name: Hyabusa Everett

Universe: Anemone's Universe (Name Pending)

Gender: Male

Age: 39

Race: Vulture Harpy

Description: Hyabusa is a tall, lanky harpy with two large, black wings characterized by the vultures of the harpy race, as well as curved, ebony talons. His features seem elongated all about, including his almost triangular chin and his hawk-like nose. Hyabusa has medium lengthed black hair and is often seen wearing urban clothing while hiding his wings and talons. He is approximately 6'9'' tall.

History: Hyabusa was born into the Everett tribe, an urban tribe of harpies in the western United States. He was raised to believe the harpy belief in reverence of fertility, but he was greatly ignored as a child due to being a male (all of whom are infertile). Hyabusa grew, over the years, extremely bitter over his own "curse of infertility". Growing up, however, he also caught many of the human values and mixed it with his own, though he still bemoans his status.

Hyabusa eventually enrolled to become a nest guard, as many males did, and trained in a variety of weapons and poisons. He also got a job in the human world as a mailman, secretly using his fast flight ability to do deliveries at astonishing speeds.

Personality: Hyabusa is technically very morose. He is a strong believer in the harpy belief of fertility but he also tempers it greatly with human morality and ideas. He often fantasizes of someday making a human friend who can learn to manipulate genetics and make him and other males fertile. He's also both highly respectful and resentful of women, regardless of their race.

Weapons and Abilities: Hyabusa depends both on his talons and very long, double-sided swords to fight, as well as poisons. His tactic generally concentrates on rapidly slashing the enemy while flying, crisscrossing through the enemy and rapidly slashing as he passes by.
