Ah! I saw the latest episode of The Vampire Diaries earlier today! The end of it made me tear up a little. Poor Damon, still getting the shaft, but I hope he'll get her in the end.

My boyfriend and I were discussing earlier how everything Damon does is manlier than Stefan. Even the way he like... sheds just one, manly tear and does what he has to do without bitching and moaning out it is manly compared to those horrendous sobs of Stefan's and how he pisses and moans before doing what needs to be done.

I didn't like Stefan in the books, and I don't really like him in the show, either. I pretty much only watch the show for Damon actually. =3

Be careful though, Kathryn. Manliness doesn't constitute an unwillingness to show emotion and generally be a dick. Damon is manipulative and unfair, in comparison to Stefan. Razz

Damon shows his emotions all of the time, anyway. It's not like he's a heartless bastard.

It's simply terrible, Kathryn! I watched the trailer for the next episode over and over, and it looks so good! I have a feeling the next episode is going to introduce some major plot twists, even more so than usual. Waiting sucks... Mad

I liked that movie, but after I read the book, I just couldn't look at the movie the same way. The book is definitely superior though the visuals for the movie were pretty nifty.

Lately, I've been watching a show called The Walking Dead. It's on AMC on Sundays, but I don't get that channel so I find links for it on TVDuck.com. Anyway, it's basically about this police officer who gets shot while on duty and winds up in a coma.

When he awakens from his coma, the world around him is completely different. The dead walk and feast where living people once spent theirs lives, and he has to find a way to survive it and to get back to his family and to help others he meets to survive.

I watched the first two episodes in one night, and it gave me awful nightmares. For those of you who don't know me, zombies are my most feared movie monster, and I would rather suffer a nuclear apocalypse with no hope of survival than a zombie apocalypse with a small hope of survival. Seriously... They give me nightmares even if the movie in which they're featured is meant to be funny.

Anyway, even though I loathe zombies and they give me nightmares, the show itself is pretty good so far based on the three episodes I've seen. I'm definitely looking forward to watching more of it. =3

The Walking Dead has been great so far! I'm a big fan of the comics it's based on and it's been great to see them brought to life and expanded upon. Visually, this is such a stunning series. I mean seriously, how gorgeous and haunting is this?

I vaguely recall reading that it's based on a comic book series, but I've never read it.

I do like the visuals for it, though. It's very raw.

Really cool, if I do say so myself. Though had it been made today it'd be a lot better. But, being from either '87 or '88 I think... it is still cool. And amusing.

... that Billy Squier video really is one of the worst videos.

Though, I have to say I disagree with the comments about the Guns 'N' Roses videos. Those three actually had something going for them, although Don't Cry was really just over the top. At least Estranged and November Rain were more than the typical "Here is your rock band rocking out! You might as well be watching them live!" video. Granted, I do agree that the band fell apart for the most part after the first album.

Edit: What should have been on that list was the video for Metallica's cover of Turn the Page. Simply for the fact that the material of the video didn't go with what the song was actually about at all.

Which season? I stopped watching the show after the first few episodes of the fifth season. The first three seasons were amazing, the fourth season was still pretty good, but this fifth season is lame. There's no tension in it... =\

I'm on the tenth episode of the fifth season, and there is quite a bit of tension, but I agree, not as much as previous seasons. I love this season though, especially poor Lumen, and what she went through Sad

First came Bones. It was kind of bittersweet this time.

Then came The Vampire Diaries, and this episode facilitated four possible pairings that I kind of like. Plus, Damon was super effing hot. ^*_*^
