“Imagining the future is a kind of nostalgia. (…) You spend your whole life stuck in the labyrinth, thinking about how you’ll escape it one day, and how awesome it will be, and imagining that future keeps you going, but you never do it. You just use the future to escape the present.”

Imam: Because you do not believe in God does not mean God does not believe in -
Riddick: Think someone could spend half their life in a slam with a horse bit in their mouth and not believe? Think he could start out in some liquor store trash bin with an umbilical cord wrapped around his neck and not believe? Got it all wrong, holy man. I absolutely believe in God... And I absolutely hate the fucker.
Imam: I have already prayed with the others. It is painless.
Riddick: It is pointless.
Johns: Hey, I thought I said no shivs!
Riddick: You mean this? This is just a personal grooming appliance.

Now a prostitute. Yeah.
"Behind the door lies limitless possibilities, this gateway into the unknown. Of course, I dreamily wonder of amazing possibilities, so selfish in nature, that it would be best if I did not write them down; But I guess in the other hand, my worst nightmares could be reality behind this door. I've been told that wonder beyond imagination are on the other side, but that does not explain good, bad, or otherwise." - My husband wrote this. I found it folded up with his writings.

Uh... no, not necessarily. If you're talking some high end, expensive place then maybe they would all be 'hot' but otherwise, majority of strippers are pretty damn average. Or they are downright disgusting. It really, really depends on the place.

I can't remember if I've posted this quote before, but it's good enough to post again.
Even in literature and art, no man who bothers about originality will ever be original: whereas if you simply try to tell the truth (without caring twopence how often it has been told before) you will, nine times out of ten, become original without ever having noticed it.-C. S. Lewis

"Let me ask you something. What is the difference between A) Killing a bunch of zombies, to get hearts out of them. Collecting the hearts, and then going back to town to get an item, to get to another part of the game. And B) Playing a game where you kill zombies obstructing your forward path to another part of the game. Answer: FOUR HOURS." - Egoraptor

No drug, not even alcohol, causes the fundamental ills of society. If we’re looking for the source of our troubles, we shouldn’t test people for drugs, we should test people for stupidity, ignorance, greed, and love of power.

Look, in my opinion the best thing you can do is find a person who loves you for exactly what you are. Good mood, bad mood, ugly, pretty, handsome, what-have-you. The right person is still going to think the sun shines out of your ass. That's the kind of person that's worth sticking with.

Ah, how strongly his complaint resonated with my chest! It causes a person to wonder if their own internal voices have become louder, or if there might possibly be someone else in the world with the same sentiments.

I believe it's supposed to be read like this:
But I've also seen this version:
The real question is, does "broccoli" have two or three syllables? I live on a regional boarder and have heard this debate a few times. Personally, I like "Brockley;" "Brock-oh-lee" sounds like a kids' canned food to me.

Aha, see? I was just about to say that broccoli gives the first one too many syllables. xD
I've always said it Brock-uh-lee, with three syllables. Never heard it with 2.
