Re: Apple's Characters
Name: Ainsley Marion
Age: 16
Class: Sophomore
Hair: Reddish brown
Eyes: Dark emerald
Height: 5’0”
Weight: 112 kg
Powers: Empathy, Mediumship, Night vision, Enhanced reflexes
Strengths: Creativity, Art, Dance, Flexible, Sharp reflexes, Architecture, Empathetic.
Weaknesses: Sitting still, short attention span, Music, Math, the dark, ghost stories, sweet foods, smoke, death, guns, cats, insomnia, cutting.
Family: Elliot (father), Lorraine (stepmother), Chase (older stepbrother), Rosalind and Vivian (cousins)
Friends: Ella Whitestone, Quinn West
Bio: Ainsley never seems to pay attention—one day she’ll be doodling in her notebook, and the next she’ll be fighting to keep her eyes open. Although she can be extremely lazy at times, she has a good sense of humor. She was never much of a social butterfly; but she has a small circle of friends who seem to accept her despite her abilities. She deems herself as an outcast and feels that not even her friends can understand what she goes through. When she’s tired, she can be unnecessarily bitter, picking fights with those who pester her in even the slightest ways. She can be a little jumpy and paranoid, consistently looking behind her shoulder while she walks. It even goes as far to the point where she can’t even fall asleep at night. She normally abandons her homework for the local arcade—video games keep her mind off of reality itself. Chase usually drives her to school in his beat-up truck; but if she sleeps in, he leaves her behind, and she ends up having to walk.

Re: Apple's Characters
Team Mechanic
Name: Evadne 'Delilah' Van Denend
Age: 16 (Born December 29th, 1995) ♑ (Capricorn)
Gender: Female
Species/Abilities: Evadne can manipulate electricity and conjure up lightening bolts and sparks with her fingertips. She can run at an enhanced speed in comparison to the typical civilian, but she’s not faster than the speed of light. She fares rather well against long-range attacks. She gained her powers genetically and she’s had them ever since childhood, so she knows a great deal about what she can do. Despite her abilities, Evadne is still a human girl.
Personality: Ever since she can remember, Evadne has been obsessed with justice and freedom. Rather than obsessing over dolls and princesses as a kid, she watched superheroes and villains dueling it out on Saturday morning cartoons. And when her parents began to teach her to use her powers, she was ecstatic. Ambitious as ever, Evadne worked very hard to become stronger in order to do what she felt was right—help other people. However, her strong sense of justice got her in trouble quite a lot. In elementary school up through middle school, Evadne fearlessly stood up to bullies… and if they didn’t listen, she’d try and teach them lessons physically. As a kid she was also always picking up stray cats and dogs on the street, begging her parents to let her nurse them back to health before sending them off someplace where she knew they’d find a home. Evadne isn’t the most mannerly girl, she’s the type of person who’ll comfortably prop her feet up on her friends’ coffee table and relax. She’s also very excitable and loves to chat up a storm—she can make friends very easily and is rather charismatic and friendly. She tends not to trust adults very easily. She doesn’t exactly respect her elders like she’s supposed to—she doesn’t even think twice to talk back at them if she thinks something they’re enforcing is unfair. But at times, she knows her limits and she’ll back down. In fact, if she’s ever in trouble with an adult of any kind (teacher, parent, et cetera) she’ll literally run away. When something seems as though it’s way too tough for her and she knows in the back of her head that she can’t fight it head on, she’ll run impulsively without even thinking about the consequences. Evadne also tends to find herself in the wrong places at the wrong times. She gets into a lot of trouble—sometimes intentionally and sometimes accidentally. Evadne doesn’t like being poked at for her extremely short height and will instantly freeze up if she’s called ‘kiddo’, 'short stuff', 'pipsqueak', or anything along those lines. Evadne can be extremely stubborn and it can be hard to change her opinion of something once it's set.
Bio: Evadne’s childhood was actually rather typical—she had both of her parents and an older brother. They lived in a friendly, somewhat wealthy neighborhood and she went to school like most kids did. However, her parents were both rather secretive around her at the same time. She’d ask them questions that they’d never really reply to. For example, what they did for a living. Her parents never had a ton of time for her and they were always at ‘meetings’, leaving her alone with a sitter and her brother. She shook this off as a kid, though, suspecting that they were merely busy. She met one of her best friends through her parents work—their co-workers’ daughter, Audrey. In middle school, Evadne became especially popular with the kids in her class with her energetic and good-humored personality. She loved electronics and she could very easily take things apart and put them back together again. She was happy, and yet her parents thought she was troubled. For some reason she didn’t know then, they disliked the fact that she was always doodling superhero logos in her notebooks and stood up to the bullies in her class whenever they picked on someone else. Even so, her father told her about her powers when she was in the seventh grade and trained her in using them correctly ever since. She became rather strong and even more serious about her idea of becoming a real superhero one day. Things took a turn for the worst when she crept down the stairs late one night for a glass of water. She could hear both of her parents speaking in hushed voices in the kitchen, so she held her breath and listened in the doorway. They were speaking about work—an organization they were working for. In that one conversation, Evadne realized they were worried that she wouldn’t fit in with their ‘evil family business’. She also realized that they’ve robbed banks, assassinated people, and probably did other unspeakable things. Shocked, she whirled around and headed back up the stairs in a hurry. She packed a hurried bag before quietly sneaking into a room which she wasn’t supposed to go inside. It was filled with cabinets filled with files and several computers and tech equipment. Unaware if any of these things would help her in the future, she opened one of the drawers and retrieved a handful of files, took a sticky note with a few of their passwords written on it, and fled. She took a bus to Oceanship City to find Katie Clement—the only reliable ‘adult’ she knew. She met Katie when she was younger, as she was an employee at some kind of a gadget store. They would both enthusiastically talk to each other and became friends over time. Katie then became the manager of a bookstore and allowed her to stay with her. Katie’s the only person Evadne has told about her family situation so far.
Family: Reagan Van Denend, her mother, was a rebel. She was very smart, one of those kids who could sleep during class and get away with an A. She'd skip to smoke with her friends and she'd do daring stunts on the weekends. Although she’s a bit quiet and distant, she was very cruel and would normally push people away. She didn’t have to be loud to be feared. However, to Evadne she seems rather gentle and puts up an excellent caring façade for her family. Reagan is one of the head assassins for the 'organization'-- she normally kills without remorse. She's uncaring... almost numb to an extent. (Evadne was unaware of this until recently) However, she really truly cares for her family. When Evadne's father wasn't teaching her how to use her powers, Reagan was teaching her daughter how to dodge attacks and some self defense techniques. She doesn't like her daughter's heroic nature and wishes that she could somehow convert her.
Evadne's father, Max Van Denend, was a bit of a geek—scarily intelligent. However, he had the same abilities Evadne has and was rather strong. He wears glasses and has a very sarcastic sense of humor. Max admired his daughter-- she wasn't girly or squeamish like his co-worker's daughter, Audrey. (He'd often poke fun at this fact, boasting at the fact that his daughter had the strength to physically beat up the boys that were probably twice her height). He taught her how to use her abilities and was very happy when she eagerly complied. Everything was going great... until he began to realize that she was more interested in saving people rather than hurting them. He tried to crush her beliefs, only to fail. He has a bit of an insane outlook on how the world ‘should’ be. His emotions can be unstable when triggered-- he can be mad to an extent. He’s allergic to animals and usually forbade Evadne for bringing strays in the house.
Castor Van Denend, Evadne’s older brother, is somewhat of a rebel himself. As a kid, he was somewhat protective of her due to her size. However, with time he realized that his younger sister could easily handle herself in most scenarios. Sometimes she would be in over her head and would attract trouble, so he’d do what he could. It was becoming evident that she didn’t depend on him. When her abilities blossomed and his father turned all of his attention on her, Castor set out and experimented to see if he had powers of some kind. All he received was a few enhanced senses—such as sight and strength. He was jealous and kept his distance from her sister, though he still did care for her a lot. He would spend his time at parties and took up smoking, a habit that their mother used to have. He began to stop coming to school too and would only attend for tests, which he always seemed to ace for some reason. Evadne began to dislike him, since it seemed to her like he was giving up on his life altogether. Even so, she would cover for him whenever he snuck out of the house—and with time their parents began to stop caring what became of him when he went out at night. When Castor was told about the Organization, he decided to go along with it because he didn’t have the means to leave home and didn’t want to leave Evadne by herself either.
None of her grandparents or great grandparents are living at the moment and she doesn't know of any possible aunts or uncles or cousins she may have. (She was told her grandparents were killed in a car accident to cover up the fact that they died working for their 'organization'.)
Strengths: Evadne conquers her problems head on and refuses to let someone suffer under the insults of a bully. She's always trying to help other people and she's undeniably friendly. Evadne is great at taking things apart and then putting them back together. She loves to invent little devices-- she's a genius when it comes to programming and computers. She also enjoys working on cars and using tools. She's pretty good at video games and enjoys some sports. She's also quite the optimist and can put a smile on someone's face in hard situations. She has an undying sense of justice and only wants to help others, despite the fact that she's a bit unruly and aggressive. It can be hard to see it sometimes, but Evadne's incredibly protective of her friends and she loves them with all her being-- which is why she can be so untrusting of those who are new to her. She's good at multitasking and can hold conversations as she's fighting. Honesty is extremely important to her.
Weaknesses: Evadne tends to rush into things without thinking twice about the circumstances. She's not the most mannerly girl either-- she'll talk with her mouth full without even thinking twice about it. She's not very graceful either, very clumsy on her feet and prone to falling down. Evadne also doesn't tend to respect very many adults as she should and often questions authority. She doesn't really care about consequences when she stands up to others either-- she's been in deep trouble for constant physical and verbal fights at school before. Evadne doesn't think very much, she just dives into something regardless of the trouble she could land herself in. She's got a colorful vocabulary and doesn't really pay attention regarding who she's using it around. Evadne's stubborn and won't move when it comes to something she believes in, causing her to clash with several people. It takes a patient person to tolerate her sometimes. Evadne's vulnerable to betrayal-- she can hide her wounds very well and it takes a while for her to completely break down.

Evadne can be recognized most for her dirty blonde curls and her petite size. She has icy, pale blue eyes that are normally filled with life and enthusiasm. Her skin normally is a bit tanned, since she spends lots of time outdoors. Her hair is a little longer than shoulder length, but when it's straightened or wet it actually reaches her mid back. Evadne has an odd sense of style, as she's not too keen on fashion entirely, she tends to mix her clothes in weird ways that oddly suit her well. If she ever tames her unruly curls and pays some mind to her appearance, people tend to consider her rather attractive.

Re: Apple's Characters
Team Caregiver
Name: Daze Clement (‘Daze Clement’ could be considered her ‘human name’. She chose it herself, considering the fact that she wasn’t exactly named at birth. The last name 'Clement' was adopted from Katie.)
Age: Unknown. She appears to be around 17 years old.
Gender: Female
Species/Abilities: Daze is a part of a species known as starseeds. Upon arriving on earth, she transformed into a human-like state. She doesn’t know very much about her ‘species’ or her ‘abilities’. Although Daze doesn’t know very much about her past or her roots in general, so far she knows that she can fly, create transparent shields, and manipulate light. In being able to manipulate light, she can easily stun her opponents or temporarily blind them. She can slightly harm them by striking them with light, though it only does minor damage. She also has perfect night vision and can see clearly in the dark.So far, that is all Daze is aware that she can do. Daze has a larger life-span than most humans and will live billions of years past her friends. She will not appear to age at the same rate either. So while her friends are turning twenty five-- or even older, she'll still appear to be seventeen.
Personality: Daze is extremely innocent. Having landed on such an unfamiliar planet filled with unfamiliar creatures, Daze is very naive—she’s never been exposed to deception, death, liars, and cruelty before. She’ll easily trust anyone who flashes a simple friendly smile and can’t detect a liar—even if it’s painfully obvious that the person is lying. She’s frequently confused by daily sayings and public places. She can tell that she doesn’t fit in well, and that makes her just a little insecure and soft-spoken. Daze tries not to speak very much, as she doesn’t want to be corrected frequently or overwhelmed with earthly customs. Even so, people can easily tell that she’s not stuck up because of this. Having grown up in a world filled with warmth and kindness, she’s determined to help as many people as she can while she remains on earth. She’s rather excitable and will perk up whenever group activates are suggested. Daze takes on a bit of a motherly role when she needs to—she’ll frequently check her friends for wounds and ask if they’re all right. She’s a great listener and always seems to say the right things when someone’s in need of some good advice-- although half of the time, she doesn't know quite what she's saying or whether or not it's helping. She thinks things through precisely in her head before she takes action—especially now that she’s in such an unfamiliar world. When provoked, Daze can be ‘gently threatening’. In other words, she’ll yell when situations are hectic, but she’ll use kind, polite words while doing so. It’s very rare to see Daze angry and she hardly ever looses her temper. Just like her name indicates, Daze often falls into trances when she’s looking off at something—sometimes it can take several minutes to finally pull her from them completely. She’s constantly homesick to a point where she’s always just a little bit troubled. She’s reminded constantly that she’s different because of her extreme height for her age, her appearance, and her growing insomnia. She’s not yet used to earths’ customs and longs to go home where everything is peaceful and warmhearted. There are tiny everyday items that manage to excite Daze very easily—for example, magic markers, rollie chairs, disks, glitter, et cetera. She's very sweet, yet very self-critical at the same time.
Bio: Daze’s history is what makes her feel like a complete outsider on earth. Everyone speaks about his or her pasts and their memories-- both good and bad. They have stories to back their conversations up with. They had relationships with friends and family members. Although Daze is certainly sure that she had those things, all of her memories seemingly vanished after her transformation. Some of the images she gets are blurry—she knows that she was at peace; she knows that she had a family of some sort… But she doesn’t have any faces or names to remember. She has something similar to amnesia. It’s like she’s looking at her past life in a thick fog in which she can only see shadows. She doesn't have very much of a past to refer to. On earth, time seems to be flipped and she develops insomnia. When Daze landed on earth and met her friends, she found herself wit the will to protect the people of Oceanship city. Although violence is not a method she enforces, she's perfectly content with providing defense. She feels a bit out of place, but at the same time, she's happy that she was fortunate enough to meet her friends. On the side, she's trying to go through some self discovery in terms of hobbies, astronomy, and other such things.
Family: Daze knows very well that she has a mother and a father—as well as thousands of brothers and sisters in the sky. However, in her old ‘star’ state she wasn’t exactly the same. Nothing really had a face or a name; she just knew that she had connections of some sort. She has vague memories of happier times, but none of them are clear enough for her to remember vividly. If someone were to ask her if she had a family, she would immediately say she had one. She considers her new team to be her family. Ben, Evadne, and Scorpius had all managed to give her a guiding light in her sea of confusion and she treasures their friendship very deeply because of it.
Strengths: Daze is a very handy teammate to have—not only because of her abilities, but also because of her calm and soothing presence. When a situation is tense or hectic, she can offer reasonable advice that doesn’t come off as impulsive or rushed. She has such an empathetic way with words and she’s a great listener, she’s a great sense of support for someone to rely on if they ever have a problem. She sees the good in everyone and even sometimes regrets hurting the bad guys… She’s loyal and never goes back on her word. She’s never lied once and she doesn’t intend to, therefore she’s very trustworthy. Daze also sometimes takes on the role of a mother and will do anything she can to protect her friends—whether it be emotionally or physically. Other than that, Daze is an excellent cook (she spends her long nights watching cooking shows) and photographer.
Weaknesses: Daze constantly feels like an outsider and beats herself up for it. If a plan goes wrong or if someone gets hurt, she’ll usually blame her self for not managing to set up a protective barrier in time. She’s insecure and isn’t really aware if she’s ever doing things the way she’s supposed to. She has a little bit of self-doubt; therefore if she has a good idea, she might bite her tongue and hold back in fear of doing something wrong. She never wants to disappoint anybody. Daze is also easy to trust other people and can’t detect a liar very easily, making her very prone to traps and deception. Although it can be both a good thing and a bad thing, Daze sees the good in everyone and will sometimes hesitate to hurt someone else. She dislikes violence, which isn’t always the best thing when one goes into combat on a daily basis. Daze also isn’t one to directly ask for help. She’s constantly afraid of appearing as though she’s unaware and confused, so she hardly ever comes to her teammates for support when she really needs it.
Stats:

Agility - ★★★★

Appearance:
Willa Holland
Daze is awkwardly tall and is very insecure about her height. With her naive personality, being as tall as she is doesn't really seem to suit her entirely. She has very dark hair that is kept rather long, flowing all the way down her back. Her face is very expressive and it's easy for someone to glance at her and see what she's thinking. Her eyes are extremely large and hold a yellowish tint that is unusual on earth. Her eyes are the main giveaway that she's not like everyone else. Being a different species, she ages different from everyone else. While her friends grow older, she'll find that she'll appear to be seventeen years old for another hundred years or so before she ages in appearance.

Re: Apple's Characters
Team Enchantress
Name: Audrey ‘Rose’ Frost
Age: 14 (Born September 13th, 1996) ♍ (Virgo)
Gender: Female
Species/Abilities: Although Audrey holds human-like qualities and a human-like appearance, she’s a witch. She’s telekinetic and can move anything as big as a bus with the gentle flick of her wrist. She can also perform several spells due to her intensive training sessions with her father. Some spells are simple while others can be severe—especially dark magic, which is a morbid form of magic that drains her energy. She’s afraid of her capabilities, as her spells can be unstable-- enough to kill a person in a single hit. She resents her abilities to a certain extent, as they were forcibly taught to her.
Personality: Audrey was a very mousy, quiet girl who tried to shy away from the spotlight. She can still be a bit emotionally fragile, she’s very aware of her flaws and whenever they’re pointed out to her in a constant manner, she begins to beat herself up. She judges herself constantly and always has to re-do things in fear that she hadn’t performed a task well enough. She can’t really find value for herself and doesn’t normally hesitate when she dives in front of a friend to save them in battle. She feels that there’re several other people that contribute to the world in more ways than she ever could. As a child, she was a coward—but once she discovers that she’s capable of so many things, she builds up a hard shell and becomes a bit cold. She can be downright brutal at times and puts up a stern front. She can be a little sarcastic as well. After a while of serving the Organization, Audrey begins to question her thoughts on right and wrong. She doesn’t like robbing banks and she doesn’t really feel a thrill whenever she breaks the law. Audrey honestly wishes she had the courage to run away from it, like Evadne did. She’s almost always confused with herself because of the deception and lies she’s grown up with. All in all, Audrey wants to find a safe place to land. A place where she’ll always feel safe. Emotionally, Audrey’s a complete mess and she’s very bad at social interactions—such as understanding caring gestures and what they mean. Dealing with other people is a tough task for her and it sometimes makes her come off as a bit snobbish.
Bio: Audrey has always been rather soft-spoken. She had no playthings and whenever she complained or cried over something as a toddler, her father would terrify her to the point where she never really wanted to disturb him. She wasn’t allowed the privileges that other kids had. She had to grow up fast, had to be quiet so she wouldn’t disturb her father. Even so, her stepmother, Corinne, would sometimes sneak a few fun activities in for her when her father wasn’t around and convinced him to sign her up for dance. When Audrey started school, it was no question that she was different from everyone else. For one, her eyes were purple, which was odd enough. And the fact that she kept away from everyone. She didn’t seem to want to make friends with anyone. Instead of playing with toys, she’s be off in her own corner reading large books that were meant for middle school kids. She would speak with large words that the other kids hardly knew. Everyone tended to think she thought she was too good for them, though that wasn’t the case. They picked on her and bullied her to the point where she didn’t want to come to school anymore. When she met Evadne, her father’s co-worker’s daughter, she was a little bit scared. But with Evadne’s warm and friendly personality, Audrey faltered and opened up to her. They became fast friends and Evadne began to defend her from the bullies at school. However, Evadne’s tactics could be physical and alerted the attention of their teachers. When Audrey’s father was informed that she was being bullied, he didn’t try to console her. He told her she was weak and she had to start fighting her own battles if she wanted to get anywhere.
Audrey grew to fear her father even more than before and tried to stay away from him. Her mother noticed this and decided to run away with her when she was six years old. They stayed a few states over in a mansion owned by one of her mother's friends. They managed to stay there for a month before being discovered. Audrey was told to hide under the bed when her mother's murder occurred. Unbeknownst to Audrey, the man who brought her back to her father was Wade Crocker. Due to a strong blow to her head and the trauma of the incident, Audrey is still very blurry when it comes to what exactly happened and it still bothers her to this day. Audrey never asked her father about it, for fear of what she would hear. She and Evadne continued to be friends and things remained relatively the same. Corrine came into her life and things got a little better for her. When Evadne fled from home, her father panicked that Audrey would do the same and instantly started training her—and when she knew what she was capable of, she constantly told him she wanted to stop. Whenever her father thought she was resisting, he would train her harshly to the point where it was abusive. She would constantly receive black eyes and would sometimes be beaten down to the point where she couldn’t even walk. Her fear is what drives her to rob banks and perform several other crimes for the sake of the Organization. As it continues, though, she can feel her mind beginning to lose itself to the point where she's just about ready to crack.
Family:
Landon Frost, her father, is a very stern man who doesn’t tolerate ‘funny business’. He likes getting tasks done with as little time as possible and is very serious about the work he does. Landon works for the Organization, as he’s dedicated to it by blood. He’s the one constructing missions and kind of a ‘game plan’ for their procedures. He’s rather selfish and always puts himself hurt—if there’s something he feels he has to do, he’ll barrel through anyone in his way, paying no attention to the feelings he might be stomping on. Landon is a very silent man who seems to always have something else in his mind. He doesn’t know how to handle children and has a very business-like relationship with his daughter. He would give her something to do and send her off as though she was insignificant. His rules are very strict and whenever he would receive news of Audrey being picked on at school, instead of inquiring the situation, he’d scold her for being weak. He pushes everyone away and doesn’t even seem to realize it—no one’s tried to stand up to him before, as he’s a very harsh, threatening man. He has an iron grip over Audrey, almost to the point where he can treat her like a puppet if he wants.
Rose Frost—Audrey’s biological mother who is deceased. Rose was a good-natured woman who had just a bit of a happy-go-lucky personality. She wasn’t necessarily ditzy, just content with the life she was living. She was the only person who could ever really break through Landon’s hard demeanor—and the fact that she was a witch really seemed to capture his interest. She'd been sent away when dark magic books were discovered in her possession in the magical dimension and ended up on earth, where she felt like a fish out of water. When it came to Landon, she was thrilled that someone didn’t think she was weird or creepy because of her magic—his interest in her made her fall in love with him. They were married. He began to pressure her to use dark magic and as a result, their relationship began to crack. When she began to see more of his flaws and more of what his work required over time, she felt it best to take Audrey and flee the Organization. In turn, the Organization sent an assassin after her and brought Audrey back to her father. Audrey was six at the time and her memories of the event are incredibly blurry.
Corinne Frost, Audrey’s stepmother. Although she was not connected to the Organization by blood, she heard about it and decided she wanted to join. She became an ‘intern’ for the Organization and was eventually set in kind of an arranged marriage with Landon. This was done mainly because he was much to busy taking care of Audrey to attend to his business and he needed someone else who could do so without bringing a nanny into the mix of things. Corinne adored the fact that she was married to someone in such a high rank in the Organization, but she never really attained the attention she wanted from him. He would tell her to tend to Audrey, as she was still merely six at this time, and leave off for business. Usually alone with Audrey, Corinne feels that she has a strong bond with her. Although Corinne wasn't allowed to let Audrey participate in 'childlike' activities, she did manage to convince Landon to sign her up for dance classes. Audrey can be easily soothed by her words and usually goes to her for advise. Corinne is, however, a bit of a coward and lets Landon push her around quite a lot.
Strengths: Physically, Audrey is superior to many. She can fling extremely heavy objects across a room with just the wave of her hand and she can also perform numerous spells that normally deal a lot of damage to her opponents. There are times when she can be calm in hectic situations, though it varies on the situation. Being rather intelligent, Audrey can make quick decisions and calculate perfected strategies in her head within a matter of minutes. Because of her skills in both dance and gymnastics, Audrey is typically very graceful on her feet and rarely slips or falls. Despite second guessing herself, Audrey is actually a very kind person and truly doesn't wish harm upon anyone.
Weaknesses: Audrey’s magic is unstable and controlled by her emotions. And because of where she comes from and the way she was raised, she’s a bit of an emotional train wreck. At times, words can defeat her more than physical attacks can. Every time she uses a spell, it also drains quite a lot of her energy quickly. She’ll become dizzy and eventually have to sit down for a minute or two before picking herself back up to fight again. If she’s pushed way to hard, which unfortunately happens often, she’ll suffer from fainting spells. So while she can deal a lot of damage to strong enemies, there are quite a few side effects. Audrey's largest flaw is that her fear controls her. Fear is what possesses her to do the horrible things that her father asks of her. She shuts down under too much pressure and the dark magic tends to take control of her. She wavers on the fact whether she's good or bad quite frequently and doubts that she's worth anything.

Appearance:
Elle Fanning
Audrey is very lean and is rather small-- standing only an inch or two taller than Evadne. Her skin and hair are both very fair and her eyes take on a strangely purplish blue color. Her hair reaches her mid back and her bangs are swept to the right and will get in her eyes occasionally. Audrey dresses somewhat elegantly and she tends to enjoy vintage clothes. Witches naturally seem to love elegance and traditional styles, so a little of her heritage shines through when it comes to what she wears when she fights. She uses her mother's old cloak and wears a witch's uniform.

Re: Apple's Characters
Katie
Name: Katrina “Katie” ‘Jeanette’ Clement
Age: 23 (Born on July 19th, 1988) ♋ (Cancer)
Gender: Female
Bio: When she was born, Katie’s parents were in financial trouble and couldn’t afford to take care of her. She was raised in a boarding school specifically made to care for orphaned girls rather than being put in foster care. Katie was an exceptional, well-rounded student who typically got along with everybody without being the most popular girl there. She couldn’t stand to be still when it came to activities—she’d go from sports to woodshop to computers. She was just ‘okay’ at everything. When she started reading and writing short stories and articles for contests, Katie found a passion in books and decided that she’d really like to be a librarian or an author. She decided against going to college and decided that she was going to try living on her own in Oceanship City. The first place she found work was a hardware store while she tried to balance writing on the side. With creative writing awards on her resume and wonderful recommendations from her teachers, Katie was given the position to manage her own bookstore. Feeling that this was probably one of the best jobs someone like her could receive, she took it. It was opened in an old shop that had been closed down and had more space than she needed. Katie purchased an apartment only a few blocks away from where she works and tends to write whenever the bookstore isn’t particularly crowded. When Katie hears that Evadne is in trouble with her family situation, she gladly lets her stay in the store as long as she doesn’t go on and tell anyone about it. Katie is really thankful for the opportunities she was granted even when her family couldn’t raise her and wants to give back when it comes to providing care for those who need it. And so she can’t stand to say no when Evadne brings three more to stay under her roof. It’s a lot to handle, but Katie’s sure she can handle it responsibly.
Strengths: Katie is very literate and normally can’t stand it when she catches grammatical errors in speech. Because of this, she can be a tiny bit sarcastic—but she has a great sense of humor and doesn’t take things to heart. She’s trustworthy and sometimes a little too generous and it takes a lot to make her have a foul opinion of something or someone. She’s very fun-loving and is a very optimistic person, which really lets her get along with almost anyone. She’s cheerful, but not to the point where it can be considered annoying. She’s always relaxed and kind of laid back. Katie is very creative and is an excellent writer.
Weaknesses: Although she has a level head on her shoulders, Katie can tend to be a bit forgetful. She’ll get lost in her writing at night, look at the clock and see that she stayed up until four in the morning. She’s also bad at keeping time and is almost always late for work. She’s also addicted to coffee to a point where she needs some every morning to function properly. Katie also has a terrible love life, as she was always raised around other girls up until the point where she got to Oceanship. Her literacy and relaxed attitude goes out the window whenever she tries to talk to someone who really captures her interest.

Re: Apple's Characters
Castor
Name: Castor 'Wren' Van Denend
Age: 18 (Born February 11th, 1994) ♒ (Aquarius)
Gender: Male
Species/Abilities: Castor is just human, like Evadne is. However, he didn't inherit his father's ability to manipulate electricity. Even so, he attained enhanced senses. He's extremely strong and can easily hold his own in a fight. He did a little wrestling and football in school, so he keeps himself in shape when he wants to. He can also see a little better than the average person, giving him a quick reaction time. Castor is extremely smart and loves to hack. He's a bit of a trickster as well and isn't easily fooled.
Bio: Castor grew up with his parents and his younger sister, Evadne, in a middle-class household. He was great at sports, attractive, and had a razor sharp tongue. Even so, he was a bit of a recluse. People would try and befriend him and he'd just shut them out. He was quiet and somewhat protective of Evadne and the few friends he had. Like his mom, Castor likes to take risks. He'd always be out doing something dumb on his bike or on his roller blades. Evadne would normally accompany him on these misadventures. He began to realize that his sister was beginning to take after him-- shooting her mouth off, taking risks, and above all protecting those who were picked on. They were relatively close without having to say it aloud. Castor realized later on that she could take care of herself-- she was making several friends and was beginning to spend a little less time around him. At around this same time, their dad began to teach Evadne about the abilities she'd inherited from him. This neglect from his parents was the major wedge between the siblings.
Castor decided he'd spend more time with his friends, who were all reckless risk-takers. They were an an oddball sort of group that were all considered outcasts in school. They liked to be creative. Castor was content with that sort of a lifestyle-- searching for himself through creativity and risk-taking. Smoking, drugs, parties. It gave him a thrill and a chance to keep himself away from home. Away from his parents and away from Evadne. He was jealous and he didn't want his sister to know-- it wasn't exactly her fault, after all. He became street smart and actually found out on some of his odd misadventures and experimentations that he had a few abilities of his own. Castor only ever interacted with Evadne when he would ask for her to cover for him when he was away at night. She'd look at him with disgust and he'd be on his way. But she'd cover for him every time nonetheless. When he wasn't with his friends, he would try to train some. He wanted to be useful somehow and he wanted to see if one day he'd be able to just conjure up lightening like his sister could. It was hopeless-- but he did find that he was good with technology and hacking. He also had some enhanced senses, which was good enough for him at the time. It wasn't good enough for his parents. Castor likes things like computers and literature-- and he liked to escape reality whenever he could.
When Castor was told about the Organization, he wasn't quite sure what to do. Sure, he broke the law on several occasions. But he wasn't a thief and he certainly didn't want to end the world or change it. Even so, he didn't have the heart to run off and leave his sister in harms way. Even with the distance put between them, he was still overly protective of her. So he tried his hardest to avoid jobs from the Organization. He didn't have a great plan in mind from the get-go, considering he knew that his sister would react badly to this information. He was just going to wait for the storm to come and handle it a day at a time. When Evadne decided to run off, Castor chooses to finally do some good for once. He'd stay on the Organization's side to keep his parents busy and off her trail. She deserved to get away, after all. He knew this could permanently damage their bond, but risked it for her safety. Telling her the truth would jeopardize everything, he was certain, so he decides to build up a wall of lies regarding his reasons for fighting on the Organization's side. Being the kid that stayed behind, Castor began to gain a little more attention from his parents. He wasn't quite sure whether or not it was a blessing or a curse.
Strengths: Castor can't be fooled or lied to very easily. He can see through nearly anything. He's a smooth talker and knows what to say and when to say it in a conversation. He can't be tricked, but he's a great actor and can put on a face for almost anything. Although he's not one to be around the popular group, he's quite good at holding an interesting conversation and even has a sense of humor if someone looks close enough. Castor's intelligent and is a great hacker-- he can do almost anything he wants with a computer. He also knows a great deal about fighting and is a strong match physically. He's quite intimidating and he knows how to handle himself. Like his sister, he's not afraid to stand up to anyone in authority.
Weaknesses: Castor keeps to himself a lot and can be hard to read-- which is both a good and bad thing. No one ever really knows what his true intentions are-- whether he's a good guy or a bad guy. He also puts his own life in danger on several occasions without a care due to the neglect he's received in the past. He smokes, which is a bad habit, does drugs occasionally, and spends his nights out on the streets with his friends and a fake ID. Castor is jealous of his sister still and sometimes is conflicted when it comes to his decisions regarding the Organization. He wants to help her, but he's not quite sure what direction his own life is going in. He can also come off as mean at times, as he tends to shrug people aside when he thinks of them as boring or a waste of time. And being as intelligent as he is, Castor isn't the best strategist.

Landon
Name: Landon 'Emmet' Frost
Age: 38 (Born January 18th, 1974) ♑ (Capricorn)
Gender: Male
Species/Abilities: Landon is especially feared because of his ability to get into someone's head with telepathy. He can see their memories and use them to his advantage and appear all-knowing. Fear inducement is something he's especially skilled at, which weakens his opponents significantly before he even strikes them with an attack. He can also use telekinesis, telepathy, and has enhanced strength. On top of that, he heals quickly. He's mastered all of his abilities, as he's been training in the Organization for several years. Each one of his abilities is used to his advantage in perfected strategies that involve a certain amount of trickery and intelligence. He'll appear in front of someone and then appear behind them at the last minute with his teleportation, for example. He wins nearly every battle he fights and is extremely hard to injure.
Bio: Landon grew up with his single mother and an older brother. His mother was dedicated to the Organization completely and brought both of her sons into the business as soon as she could, making it her mission to make them as dedicated to it as she was. Landon was good at sports, very competitive, and had a lust for power. The thought of one day playing a big role in the Organization's mission excited him and it made him even more cruel, to an extent. His brother, Simon, was more of a bookworm-- he preferred studying and spending time with his friends over taking jobs for the Organization. His mother favored Landon over his brother, which is something that made him feel overjoyed and even more dedicated to the cause. Even so, the brothers were very close. Simon helped Landon study and Landon helped him with his charisma on several occasions. Landon had several friends, but he never kept anyone close. His brother was the only one he really trusted. He sucked up to his mother and considered her close, but no one got as close to him as his brother did. When Simon died in a car accident, Landon went cold. He didn't let himself get close to him anymore and was convinced that everything would be better for everyone once the Organization took things over. The world would be less cruel to everyone once that was accomplished.
Landon balanced college and working for the Organization. He took his studies very seriously for his brother's sake. And through all of this, he met ditzy, eccentric, fun-loving Rose Drake. Like him, she didn't have very many friends. Through loneliness, they both started talking and Landon discovered that she was an extremely powerful witch. That was where he took a huge interest in studying witchcraft. Rose was delighted in turn that someone was so interested in her. She'd always been considered creepy due to the fact that she could use extremely powerful dark magic. And along with that, she was the only one to break through Landon's ice-cold demeanor. They were married. Landon kept his working for the Organization from her until afterwards. Once he told her about it, she reacted badly to it. She made it clear that she didn't agree with his working for the Organization-- but that was the exact same time that she found she was pregnant. They decided to compromise and wait this storm out for a little while.
Through gossip among the Organization's core members, Rose found out what horrors their daughter would be put through if she was born into the Organization. She assumed that Landon was waiting this out so that they'd be tricked into working for the Organization-- when truly, his intentions were sincere for once. He cared for Rose more than he cared for the Organization. He was willing to run from it all for her. However, he didn't communicate this to her in time. A few mere days after Rose had the baby, she fled without giving him a single warning. Enraged and betrayed by her actions, he decided then that the Organization was the only thing that wouldn't really slip from his fingertips. Without really thinking about the consequences, he sent an assassin after her-- which is something that would happen to anyone when they fled from the Organization originally. Their daughter, Audrey, was brought back alive.
Up until Audrey was five, Landon had to take care of her by himself. Hiring a nanny would be risky. She was the ghost of Rose's memory to him and he couldn't stand looking at her. It was exhausting for him. She was frail and would cry easily as well, it was hard for him to fathom her working for the Organization one day. He wasn't sure what method he had to use to toughen her up-- which was difficult enough for him because he didn't like to spend any time with her. And so he married someone who was interested in the Organization-- a young, independent woman named Corinne. He would have her attend to Audrey while he focused on his work for the Organization. Landon would only confront Audrey if he got a call from school informing him that she was being bullied-- he told her she needed a backbone and she needed it soon. He was cruel, hoping that it would make her a little tougher. It wasn't working the way he was hoping. And he was beginning to be ridiculed at work for having a cowardly daughter.
When the Van Denend's daughter fled from home, Landon feared that Audrey would be the next to go if he wasn't careful. He began to put her through terrifying training sessions-- getting into her head and forcing her magic from her. She was a witch, like her mother. She looked like her mother. So he took his previous frustrations out on her as he trained her. He didn't really realize that he was beginning to go way too far-- it was routine. He wasn't going to let her be an embarrassment to him anymore. And deep down, he didn't want anyone else running from him. Corinne and Audrey were the only ones he really had. He wasn't going to let them go.

Re: Apple's Characters
Name: Ella 'Cassidy' Dean
Age: 15 (Born February 2nd, 1996) ♒ (Aquarius)
Gender: Female
Species/Abilities: Ella is half-demon. Because of this, she has tougher skin than most normal humans, cat-like eyes that seem like they can cut through anything, and somewhat sharper teeth. She inherited the ability to easily manipulate others and to make them do things that they normally wouldn't be too comfortable doing-- which she uses to her advantage on several occasions. Due to the 'demon drugs' her mom consumed while she was pregnant, Ella also received a few 'bonus' abilities. She can manipulate ice, ash, dust, and plants. Most of her techniques involve ice spears and mini tornados that involve using dust or ash to temporarily blind and disable her opponents. She also has somewhat enhanced strength and can see better than most people can.
Personality: Ella likes to screw with people, she likes to scare them, and she has a morbid sense of humor entirely. She decided from a few bad experiences with bullies and thugs that people were selfish and cruel-- she had the right to act in any way she wanted. Having to take on huge responsibilities at a young age, Ella is very street smart. She doesn't spend a lot of her time on her studies in school (not exactly book-smart), but she's intelligent when it comes to living life and reading other people and can be a bit sarcastic and a smart-ass. She's not entirely sure who she is, so she acts in extreme ways for a thrill-- just to see how people react. Ella's eccentric and she doesn't hide it at all. She's good at manipulating people and scaring them and she uses this to her advantage on several occasions. Ella realized starting high school that she's interested in girls-- after one to many bad experiences regarding her mom's several boyfriends, she finds appeal in girls. This made it extremely simple for her to shoo away the several guys that would try and peruse her. Ella's attracted to things that scare her, interest her, et cetera. She likes to attend parties where the music is so loud it vibrates the floor-- she finds joy in deserting the world. Listing to music is her way of escaping and it's rare to find her without her earbuds attached. Even though Ella isn't exactly the nicest person, she's protective and responsible. She's always going out of her way to make sure things aren't falling apart from home and has had to sacrifice several things just to keep her family safe.
Bio: Ella didn't have a normal childhood. She grew up with her mother, who was only fourteen years older than she was. And her twin sister, who had a different father than she did. At the beginning, they would move around quite a lot-- living at one of their mother's friends or boyfriends apartments until she had enough money to purchase a home of their own. Eventually, the dysfunctional family found a home in Oceanship in the upstairs of a clothing store her mother became the manager of. They didn't need to spend their nights going from one place to the other-- but that didn't mean they were completely settled. They needed more money. Ella took it on herself to take two jobs while her sister Caroline became massively popular and irresponsible. Even so, Caroline would tend to the housework. And their mother would spend a few hours managing the store, a few hours partying and drinking at night, and the rest of the time conked out on the sofa. Ella had all of the weight on her shoulders and she was determined to keep everything the home that they'd been blessed with.
Using all of her time to manage a job while also being eccentric and somewhat morbid-- Ella never made very many friends. She felt as though she didn't need them to be happy. She'd met several liars in her time and had decided then that people were disgusting. She was bullied and being in the slums on more than a few occasions, she's had a few violent encounters with thugs and drunk idiots out on the streets. She had one close friend-- she would do anything for him. Being bullied for being odd, they both seemed to be in the same boat. He was depressed, though, and wound up committing suicide by stepping out in front of a train. Ella wasn't quite sure if he cared for her the same way she cared for him and realized then that everyone was selfish. She resolved to protect her family in any way she could and whenever they seemed like they were in trouble, she would use a five finger discount or fool people out of their money. Everyone was selfish, so she felt she deserved to be selfish sometimes too. She'd also take uneaten food from the restaurant she worked at home in order to save some money. She was helping her family, that's all.
Once high school started, Ella started going to parties with her sister. Since they had a little more money to spare now, she also took an interest in clothing. She was drop dead gorgeous and several people had taken an interest in her. She was cold when it came to cutting people down, though, which eventually gave her an unpopular status with several of her classmates. She was mean, sarcastic, a smart-ass, and found a sick sort of joy in watching someone in pain. People weren't sure if she pretended to be the way she was or if she really was that morbid. Even so, she scared people and they kept away from her.The only friend she had committed suicide in the eighth grade, after all. They didn't know whether or not they wanted to be around her. Ella didn't mind, she preferred people to stay away from her. She smokes, since her mom constantly leaves half-full packs lying around in the house. She has a love-hate relationship with her teachers and is quite smart. Some guys still see her as a challenge and peruse her every once and a while. She's terrified of something bad happening and keeps her strange abilities a secret from everyone. She's longing for a safety net so that she can keep herself from going completely insane. Of course, she's unaware that her demonic heritage is partly the reason why she's the way she is. When she meets Ben and the team, it becomes the perfect opportunity for her to let her guard down for a little while.
Family: Brooke Dean, Ella's mother. She's misguided and always a bit disoriented. Growing up, she was reckless and dumb, succumbing to peer pressure among her group of friends when it came to drug use. Brooke is obsessed with herself. She cares a lot about the way she looks and how her relationships are going with other people. She prefers to pretend that she never had kids-- telling them both to call her by her first name and just act as though she's their older sister. Brooke works occasionally, but she's become sick of the life she's living and has no motivation to really do anything than drink and go to parties. Luckily, she has a few responsible friends that check in on the family from time to time, making sure that they don't go completely underwater. Considering the fact that she liked to sleep around when she was younger, it's wasn't all too surprising that she had bi-paternal twins and doesn't know who either of the fathers were.
Caroline and Ella are bi-paternal twins. Caroline is older by about four minutes and doesn't look a thing like Ella. She's the normal and well-behaved twin, loving sports and spending time with her friends. Although Caroline's a lot sweeter than Ella is, she's a lot less responsible and normally leaves Ella with finding work and taking care of their mom. Even so, Caroline is very close with Ella and does sacrifice some of her time do the housework in attempt to lighten the load a bit. The fact that Caroline doesn't do all too much work makes Ella resent her a little, but the two share such a tight bond that she normally lets this slide. Both of the girls share a love of attending wild parties-- Caroline lets Ella tag along whenever her friends invite her. Since Caroline has a different father, she isn't half demon and she doesn't have the abilities that Ella has.
Ella doesn't know her father. When she realized she had abilities and no clue on who her dad was, she needed to do some research. All she's found through research, is that he's some kind of demon. She's not an expert in demonology, but she's assuming he was an incubus or seiirim. Knowing she was half-demon was sort of odd for her-- but the feeling that he might come back into her life scares her more than anything.
Strengths: Ella's trustworthy and responsible. Although it doesn't seem as though she has a level head on her shoulders, she always pulls through one way or another when it comes to aiding someone she cares about. When she makes a promise, she keeps to it. She's surprisingly honest whenever she's dealing with someone she cares about and doesn't act quite as 'odd'. She's also a very hard worker and has a large amount of ambition, being able to work two jobs while trying her hardest to attend school every day that she can. Ella's also a very clever girl and knows how to handle herself in a rough situation. And although not a lot of people know this, she's amazing at baseball and has a soft spot for the sport. She also likes video games-- though she hardly ever has the time to play them. She has several layers to her and she's not quite as bad as she seems. Underneath her exterior, she's actually a very sensitive, caring person.
Weaknesses: Ella's scared of losing the people she becomes close with and keeps everyone at arms length by scaring them. She's not a very approachable or friendly person, which can cause several people to doubt her credibility. She's alluring and manipulative and can play around with people very easily, which can be both a good thing and a bad thing. She also finds a strange joy in pain, which is something she can't exactly explain. Ella's very confused and wishes that she could live a normal life and think normal thoughts like everyone else. And although Ella knows when something is right or wrong, she'll still rig things in a way where things go in the direction she wants. She feels that there's no harm in tricking someone who's too stupid to even realize that they're being tricked. Ella also smokes, which is a bad habit that she can't stop.

Although Ella doesn't have a lot of money to spend on things like clothes, she dresses quite fashionably and knows what to wear and how to wear it. She's good at making do with what she has. She has fair skin and coffee-brown waves that reach a little past her shoulders. Her eyes are a deep, oceanic blue that are very sharp and seem like they could cut through anything like a knife. She's considered very attractive and alluring, even when she's not all that approachable. She's slender and stands at an average height.

Re: Apple's Characters
Lorraine
Name: Lorraine 'Paige' Corvette
Age: 17 (Born on December 10th, 2000) ♐ (Sagittarius)
Gender: Female
Species/Abilities: Lorraine can fly and manipulate air and sound. She's clumsy on her feet and isn't the best fighter, but when she's in the air she's a dancer. She can blast opponents away with surprisingly forceful blasts of air. She also uses this typically to break down doors or blow obstacles in her path to smithereens. Lorraine is very good at taking out opponents from far away rather than up close. She can also unleash and manipulate sound. She can send powerful waves of sound at her opponents to bedazzle them or even knock them unconscious. She can also trick her opponents with sound, making it seem as though someone is coming up behind them when they're not. Lorraine's very clever and works very well with creating illusions with sound. So although she's not physically buff, she's still an asset in a fight. She's not very strong physically and isn't trained very well in any form of fighting-- so flying at fast speeds to avoid blows is her main strategy.
Personality: As a kid, Lorraine was known as the 'trouble child'. She caused problems and nearly broke everything she touched. She gave everyone around her a hard time, but she was hard to hate. Because while being so complicated and difficult, she was adorable at the same time. She was charming and had the largest smile. She was dreamy and a bit off, but people loved her nonetheless. As she grew older and even more eccentric, she clammed up. Lorraine hardly says a word anymore and no one really knows why. It seems as though she's lost, causing trouble in her own little world and keeping out of everyone's way in the real world. She ignores everything. Every problem seems to slide off her shoulders like butter. Her smile is still brilliantly big and she uses it to fend people off. They assume she's content with what she has and they move along. When Lorraine does say something, it's extremely weird or it doesn't match the conversation at all. Her actions are usually even more odd. She likes to make large, eccentric jewelry. She scribbles with magic marker in a sketchpad-- none of these scribbles are good, no one could call her an artist. Lorraine's not as innocent as she seems. She likes to sneak out at night and go to parties. She's wild and out of control most of the time when she's out with her friends. Lorraine's also quite the prankster and gets a thrill out of getting someone else in trouble for something she did-- which is something she pulls off on a daily basis at school. Not that her parents would ever notice any of this, as they're both so wrapped up in arguing with one another. The one thing that Lorraine really excels in is singing, having a chipper voice that would rival one of a Disney princess. She has a hard time understanding people and people have a hard time understanding her. Although she doesn't ever complain or scream about anything, what she craves most is attention. She's most comfortable with speaking around the team. She has random outbursts of excitement and will engage the group in an odd conversation at certain times. She likes cute things quite a lot and will light up whenever she sees something she deems adorable. She likes to decorate things and make them look sweet and welcoming. She'll doodle on any white surface with a bright-colored magic marker. Lorraine is easily distracted, which tends to confuse people and get on others' nerves in some cases.
Bio: Lorraine grew up with her mom, dad, and older sister, Roni. In photographs, they were the perfect family. All smiling, all together. But really, no one in the family ever got along with one another. Lorraine was oblivious to it as a kid. She was a bit of a trouble maker, always keeping her parents busy. Roni was a trouble maker too-- only a little more discreetly and in a more dangerous, serious way. Roni was a good eight years older than Lorraine was and was having issues with their parents. When push came to shove, she broke under the pressure of learning how to use her abilities and decided to pack a bag and leave without a single word. Roni was independent and a bit of a rebel, she didn't want to train or become a hero, much to her dad's dismay. Lorraine received a ton of attention from her parents after that. She never outwardly lashed at them, but being six years old and losing her sister, she always kind of resented them for making her disappear. After her sister's disappearance, her younger brother Kyle was born. With Roni gone, her dad decided to teach her how to use her abilities. Lorraine actually came to like it, as much as she didn't want to initially. Once she and her dad became closer over the years, he would take her out late at night to take down a few thugs. When that started happening, her mom began to worry that something bad was going to happen. She would sit at home with Kyle, worried sick that one of them would make one false move and lose their life. She expressed these fears and would always be brushed off about it. She'd lost one of her daughters due to this training and didn't want to lose Lorraine either. At this point, she was trying to convince Lorraine to peruse other things. And that's how she became involved with music and voice lessons. Lorraine came to love it. But it also inspired her to try harder to manipulate sound. Kyle never retained any abilities and was ignored by his dad, but also coddled by his mother. He and Lorraine became close, sharing in the pain that came with their parents separation.
One particular night Lorraine and her father were outnumbered by several thugs. Before Lorraine's dad could call for backup, she received an extreme blow to the back of the head. As a result, she fell unconscious, receiving a rather severe concussion. Her memory was a bit spotty for a few days and she could be a bit nauseous, but other than that, she was fine. She had to spend two days in the hospital and she was fourteen at this time. She was back up on her feet and ready to go at it again in two weeks time. Her mother didn't like the idea. Her father said constantly that Lorraine should do what she wants to do. The arguing got particularly heated at this point. Lorraine's mother and father competed for her attention and involvement in different activities. As her mother could tend to be a little too coddling at times, Lorraine would naturally choose her father's side in such cases. This gave her dad a big head and left her mother heartbroken. Her mom eventually left with Kyle without saying a word. This opened Lorraine's eyes to how serious this conflict was. First her big sister left, and then her mom and her brother. Her dad was pushing everyone away and she was beginning to follow in his footsteps. Lorraine didn't like that idea and began to pretend not to care about anything anymore. She wouldn't involve herself in the conflict anymore and visited her mom and brother a little more often. Her parents would argue about what 'Lorraine' thought was best-- Lorraine wouldn't intervene and kept her real intentions to herself. She didn't want to be a large part of what was happening and didn't want to have an influence on it. She didn't want to be at fault. At this point, Lorraine's friendships with those on the team were important. She felt truly happy when she was with them and spoke up a lot more often.
Lorraine has begun to avoid nights training with her dad-- instead going with her school friends to parties or hanging out with the team or going on patrol. She acts on a whim and is out of control in some cases. Her parents were too caught up in fighting with one another to even notice what she was doing. Upon a few of her late-night ventures, Lorraine found that her sister is currently living in an apartment with her boyfriend, fighting some of the gangs with him as a team. They meet up sometimes and talk without even telling their parents. Lorraine has come to respect her sister's decision to leave and hasn't said a single thing to either one of her parents. Right now, Lorraine's trying her hardest to be happy and to figure out how to avoid her family's many problems. She spends her time with the team because that's where she feels the happiest. She feels like she's really a part of something and that she has a say when the team's involved.
Family:
Xander Corvette, Lorraine's father. Growing up, he came to work with a group of his childhood friends-- taking down thugs every once and a while. He went to college and quit being a hero for a bit-- meeting his wife, getting married, and having kids in the process. He began to associate himself with the league of heroes, realizing that this could be an opportunity for his daughters to use their abilities as well. He spends his nights taking down crime and his days as an aircraft mechanic. He can be very oblivious to problems and has a tendency to run from things when they become too complex for him to handle. He's not very empathetic and isn't all that great when it comes to reading others' emotions or their intents on certain things. He's relaxed and doesn't understand why a big deal has to be made of anything. He has a strong sense of justice that can be overpowering when it comes to dealing with both of his daughters. He can seem strict in training sessions, but is normally easy going. He loves the thrill of going out at night and tackling more than he can handle. He wants Lorraine to share this passion with him, as it's something his wife can't understand. Lately, he hasn't been the most patient person and becomes irritable often. He's been ignoring problems quite a lot and pretends like there isn't anything wrong.
Penelope Corvette, her mother. The complete opposite of her husband, Penny tends to be very overcautious and protective. She lost her dad at a young age-- he was a pilot and his plane tragically crashed in an incident. After this, she's been somewhat coddling to those who she loves. She's rather eccentric and has an odd sense of humor, something that Lorraine has picked up from her. Penny was probably the only one who could keep her husband under control-- until her own temper got in the way of things. They started to drift apart. She was a stay at home mom and has an undying love for her kids. It tore her apart to lose both of her daughters and keeps Kyle especially close. She's doing everything she can to get Lorraine back as well. Her behavior can be a bit suffocating, but Lorraine's visits give her some hope that maybe things will get better. She currently works part time in a charming boutique on the boardwalk.
Veronica-- or 'Roni' Corvette, her older sister. Currently 25 years old. After her father put too much pressure on her, Roni broke and ran away without a single word or note. At the time she was ignorant and didn't realize how this action would tear her family to pieces. Out on the streets, she struggled a bit and got caught up in some of the first established gangs-- before they were a huge thing. She later met a librarian who took her in. Roni went back to school and found a passion for reading. She didn't go to college, but she did meet someone who also had abilities. They currently both have jobs-- her as a writer and him as a chef at a local restaurant. And on the side, they fight some of the common thugs in the city. Although she didn't seem to have a passion for fighting crime at first, she's learned to enjoy helping and protecting other people. Roni has been debating whether or not she should rekindle with her family and has recently been meeting with Lorraine.
Kyle Corvette, her younger brother. Currently 11 years old. Kyle's a bit too young to truly understand what exactly is going on. He lives with his mother and frequently spends time with Lorraine. He knows nothing about his oldest sister and knows better than to ask his parents about her. He's become rather mature for his age and is frequently babied. He doesn't really care that much for his dad, who ignored him upon realizing that he didn't have any abilities. Kyle is protective of his mom and is on her side in the conflict-- he wishes that Lorraine could come and live with them permanently and frequently tries to convince her to give up on crime. He likes school so far and is rather popular with the guys his age. He's tall for his age and plays basketball.
Strengths: Lorraine is very caring for her friends. She has a lot of love in her and she constantly shows it. Although her antics are usually mischievous, she usually has a reason for them. To make someone smile or to keep everyone from losing themselves in a serious conflict. She likes to initiate things that are enjoyable for her friends. She respects others secrets and doesn't say anything cruel about anyone. Talking behind someone's back is something she's incapable of. Although a bit flighty and eccentric, Lorraine is extremely friendly. Lorraine enjoys singing and is quite good at it. She enjoys musicals and things of the sort, but doesn't join them at school due to her responsibility on the team. Her loyalties are firm and she stays with the team no matter what-- even though her mother and brother's attempts to get her to live with them are rather persuasive. Lorraine is trustworthy and always follows through on her promises. She's also quite skilled with creating illusions and almost always has good intentions-- even when she does lie a lot. She doesn't ever make a big deal out of things and is very easy going-- it's not easy for her to become enraged or angry. Despite her family-related issues, Lorraine is an extremely happy person-- almost to the point where it's infectious. Being able to make someone smile makes her day.
Weaknesses: Lorraine is somewhat clumsy and a bit of a trouble maker. Although her tricks are normally harmless, they tend to get on peoples' nerves. She also keeps too many secrets and doesn't always show all of her true colors. She's good at putting on a mask and hiding what she's really feeling about certain things. Sometimes she'll act out. She'll talk more often than normal and engage in dangerous things on a whim-- liking going to parties or experimenting with certain drugs. She doesn't do these things on a daily basis-- but from time to time, she will-- especially when tensions become high. She hides these things from the team. Lorraine has come to depend on the team and she doesn't want them to see her worst sides. Lorraine is scared of the cold-hard truth and relies of fairy tales and eccentric fantasies to keep her going. Lorraine also isn't strong physically-- throwing punches and coming face to face with someone she's fighting is difficult for her. No one really knows where her intentions lie half the time and she's a difficult person to read. This can come off as somewhat frightening to others, since she tends to be too good at figuring out what other people are thinking in turn.

Lorraine has dirty blonde hair that tumbles down to her mid back. It's normally a bit wavy and she likes to have it in curls. She has a wide set of light, brown eyes that are normally filled with life and mischief. She's very slender and lean but doesn't have any muscle. Her skin is pale and doesn't tan very easily. She's at about average height for a girl her age. Her front teeth are rather large, giving her an innocent, childish look. She likes to wear bright, vibrant colors and funky looking jewelry. Nothing has to match, she just grabs whatever she wants when it comes to what she wears. Floral designs and bright colors are her favorites.

Re: Apple's Characters
Meredith
Name: Meredith 'Leah' Sinclair
Age: 13 (Born on October 15th, 2004) ♎ (Libra)
Gender: Female
Species/Abilities: Her mom retained her abilities through an experiment while Meredith attained hers' through genetics. Meredith has the ability to change into any living creature. Only there's a catch. She can't change into anything she can't see. Her brother Zach and her mom can look at a page in a magazine of a giraffe and change into one. Being blind, Meredith has only been able to change into animals that she's made contact with before. Simple house pets are her current limit-- cats, dogs, hamsters. Growing up on a farm has given her contact with animals like horses, pigs, goats, cows, deer, raccoons, and recently she's been able to change into a snake. Due to some rare experiences out in the field with her brother, she's been able to kind of cheat and make contact with him when he would change into something a little more dangerous. Wolves, foxes, coyotes, bears. Anything that wouldn't stick out way too much in the field. Meredith has the potential to change into another person-- but cannot, it's way too difficult for her to visualize someone else's face. That's something she's been working on. But if she can't focus on what she's changing into, it can be a painful process and she'll force herself to change back. Due to her blindness, Meredith has been living her whole life putting her other senses to her advantage. Her ears and sense of smell are extremely keen. She knows whether or not she can trust a person based on their scent and their voice. She can also tell when someone's creeping up behind her or when someone is close to her. She can pinpoint her opponents locations based on even the subtlest sounds they make. Meredith can also make her hair grow at a fast rate. She uses this to conceal her identity sometimes. She'll have it short one day and the next it could reach her mid-back. She never typically did this before, but now that she's on the run she's been trying to conceal her identity with subtle little changes.
Personality: Meredith doesn't let her blindness cripple her. She's not a negative person-- in fact, she's extremely optimistic about everything. She's very active and loves sports. Swimming, basketball, and track. She needs someone with her at all times when she participates, it makes her appreciate company as well. Meredith has come to love being around people who don't treat her differently. She likes socializing-- although the only people she ever interacts with are her family. She doesn't like being told what to do because of her blindness. Several people have told her before what she could and couldn't do and naturally, she's treated differently because of her blindness. She went blind when she was three years old and is quite used to handling herself at this point. Meredith feels insecure around strangers who act stiff or awkwardly around her. She wants to be recognized as being normal. Considering the fact that she hadn't been taught, Meredith can only read a little brail. She enjoys listening to audio books and watching movies. She's a kid with a heart of gold. Meredith prefers to be outdoors, especially in fields that stretch on and on. There aren't any restrictions for her in areas like that. She can run just as far as she wants to without having to worry about bumping up against a table or tripping over the shoes someone accidentally left in the hallway. Meredith tends to be a bit careless and impulsive at times, which can land her into a little bit of trouble from time to time. She likes cat and dog forms best, it's easy for her to curl up and get comfortable. Her senses are also enhanced in these forms, as she uses them the most. Meredith enjoys exploring the world around her and experimenting with different shapes and forms. Meredith is rather forgetful and absentminded at times. Even so, she's actually quite strong physically and has learned to use her senses to her advantage. She can sense things that the others on her team can't-- track things and notice people who're creeping up behind them. Meredith doesn't want to be known as the weak link. Because of this need to be strong and happy, she bottles up when it comes to her past and despondency. She's almost too strong for a girl her age and this will sometimes give her a big head. She can be a bit spunky and feisty sometimes. She has a southern accent and typically loves woodsy, outdoorsy areas. She has a great sense of humor-- but sometimes her jokes are self-demeaning and can make the people around her uncomfortable.
Bio: Meredith grew up on a practically deserted farm in Kentucky with both of her parents and an older brother-- who has only recently gone off to college. Her dad was a a farmer who wrote and studied astronomy on the side. Her mother worked as a veterinarian for a little while before moving out to their farm in Kentucky. She does a little on the farm, but isn't a full fledged expert. Her big brother and her cousins would normally come out and help her dad in the field. Before she or her brother were even born, her mom signed up to be a part of a scientific experiment. Her blood type wound up reaction with the chemicals in the medication she was injected with, changing her DNA significantly to the point where she could quite literally change into absolutely anything she wanted to. For some reason, this had only happened to her. Scientists caught wind of this experiment and wanted to take her in for research. After a few bad encounters, she realized that these 'experiments' people wanted to put her through were extremely dangerous. She lived on the run, moving from one place to the other within months or even weeks. Once she met Meredith's dad and had her brother early, they decided to be married and move off to a deserted location where those who were chasing her couldn't find her. Both Meredith and her brother can shape shift and her mom was worried that someone might come for them if they weren't careful. Being blind wasn't that much of a hardship for Meredith, as she hardly ever received any strange treatment at home. Trips to town were extremely rare and when she made them, it was usually with her dad to buy a few groceries and other things they were low on. Being home schooled and living out in the country was a nice and relaxing lifestyle and Meredith grew up to be a little spunky, optimistic, helpful, and caring. Her big brother was just as good natured-- sending him off to college in the city had been difficult for the family. Their mom strictly forbids them from using their abilities in the presence of anyone other than family.
Considering Meredith always grew up in the comfort of her own home, her parents weren't qualified to teach her how to read brail. And so whenever she goes to town with her dad, she'll usually pick up audio books. She loves books and music and almost always has her headphones in her ears. She's also learned how to apply her abilities to every day life and doesn't typically use her white cane-- but will if she goes to town. With the help of her family, she also came to learn how to swim and run track-- things she only does with supervision, of course. Since her brother is eight years older than her, he tends to use some colorful language around her without noticing it-- being the reason why she's become somewhat spunky. Up until recently, she grew up in a loving environment. Her family was supportive and wouldn't lose patience with her, even when they weren't experienced with giving care to a young, blind girl. The only downside of living out in the middle of nowhere was the fact that outside of family, Meredith didn't have any friends or connections-- nor did she have any 'social experience'. She's optimistic and sweet, easy to get along with. She isn't shy. But sometimes she feels out of place in a group of people who are unfamiliar. Due to her heightened senses, she's come to recognize how trustworthy people are through their scents and their voices. She's still too young to really understand that some people can be deceiving, though.
One night the men who were chasing her mom broke into the house. After several years of searching, they finally found them. Meredith was disoriented, waking up to the sound of several gunshots and screams. Drowsy but definitely awake and horrified, she got out of bed and stumbled out into the hallway-- holding her stuffed rabbit in one hand and using the other to navigate down the hallway. She was in the process of trying to sort through the chaos when strong arms snared around her. Something sharp was stuck in her neck and she blacked out. The next time she woke up, she was in the back of a large car of some sort. The morons driving the vehicle were discussing their plans, thinking that the girl in the backseat was unconscious. The procedures were frightening-- putting her through dangerous tests and recording her reactions. Forcing her to try turning into different species of animals. And she knew this is what her mom warned her of. Meredith was unsure whether or not her parents were killed or not-- she holds onto some hope that they're still alive somehow. The gunshots and screams weren't very promising. Once they stopped for gas in Oceanship, one of the men in the car expressed his fear of the league of heroes that could possibly catch up to them. Scared out of her mind, the young shapeshifter escaped the car and turned into a cat, scampering off down the street and trying desperately to avoid the curb and the cars racing by. Out of her element in the city, Meredith holds onto the idea that she can try to find this league of heroes and get them to help her somehow-- or at least offer her some temporary protection before she makes some kind of contact with her family. Out on the streets alone, she encountered quite a few thugs and had to take a risk with changing in order to protect herself. A few rumors began to go around about her and a few of the gangs had tried to recruit her-- unsuccessfully. Being rather strong and being able to take on menacing forms, she can scare away almost anyone who crosses her path. Once she was finally offered some help from a girl a few years older than her, she feels that she's a step closer to finding this rumored league of heroes. She's scared to come clean about her predicament because she's scared to truly face the hard, cold truth that her parents might be dead.
Family:
David Sinclair, Meredith's dad. He was always the good natured, happy-go-lucky type who was deemed as a little absentminded by his friends. He was always the youngest of his group of friends and considered innocent, to an extent, just being a farm boy was good manners. Spending nights beneath the stars eventually inspired him to study astronomy. He studied it thoroughly and has only recently started writing informational books in his spare time. He hates that brail books on astronomy are so difficult to find and that he can't teach Meredith to read. Even so, he does whatever he can with her-- like swimming out in the lake or running in the fields. He equally spends time with both of his kids and is usually the one to initiate a family dinner or get together. He likes bringing everyone together and getting everyone involved in everything, Meredith easily gained her enthusiasm, goofiness, and charisma from him.
Winter Sinclair, Meredith's mom. She's the spitting image of Meredith, sharing her light brown hair and coffee-brown eyes. However, she's a bit smaller while Meredith is rather tall for her age. Although she's a bit more serious than her husband, Winter has a great sense of humor and can bring herself to relax on certain occasions. Sometimes the paranoia of the past experiments she suffered through haunts her to the point where she can seem overly strict on her kids-- she just doesn't want to see them go through the same things she's been through herself. Winter was always quite shy, but once she learned she could shape shift she began to study animals and eventually became a veterinarian before she went out on the run. Although she used to be a city girl, she got used to life in the country very easily-- it was so much better than spending her nights in train stations. It was nice to finally settle down, surrounded by family and no one else.
Zach Sinclair, Meredith's big brother. Being eight years older, Zach always saw Meredith as his responsibility. Alongside their dad, he would try to help her learn sports, figure out how to make a finger painting without going off the paper, and basically how to shape shift. The two would go out into the forest near their house and practice changing into certain animals. He'd sometimes play the occasional trick on her and they can be playfully hurtful with one another, but it's almost always out of love. After he made more frequent visits out to town to visit colleges and figure out where he wants to go, they wound up spending less time with each other. Nonetheless, they remain close. He, along with some of her older cousins, use some colorful language around her openly, which is something she'll sometimes use whenever she's feeling particularly feisty.
Meredith also has eight older cousins-- all guys, on her father's side of the family who come frequently to help out on the farm. Spending time with them has made her a little tougher, a little spunky, and has given her a knowledge of some words she probably shouldn't know about. She cares about them all a lot.
Strengths: Meredith has always had a heart of gold. She can be goofy and silly sometimes, but she's truly an optimistic and caring girl. She'll go miles on end to help someone she loves. She enjoys doing favors for others and doesn't want to be treated any differently than the others. Meredith likes the sound of laughter and will do absolutely anything she can to make somebody laugh. Meredith isn't threatened by anyone who seemingly towers over her considering she can't see and won't hesitate to attack anyone who hurts her or one of her friends. She can be menacing and rather protective in most cases. Meredith doesn't let a lot of things get her down and after a crisis, she'll be the one going out of her way to make sure that everyone else is coping all right. Meredith loves sports and being around people. She's also very trusting and genuine. Although she's rather innocent, she's still a bit spunky and will use colorful language sometimes. She's very charming around those who are older than she is-- she's always respected both of her parents a lot. Meredith tends to enjoy the company of people who won't treat her like a little kid. Meredith sees past appearances and doesn't judge anyone for anything very easily. She goes out of her way to spend time with everyone on the team. There've been some incidents where even Lorraine and Memory would argue for her attention.
Weaknesses: Meredith tends to be a bit haughty and overconfident sometimes-- she hasn't had a taste of how bitter people in the world can really be due to the fact that she's been shielded from reality her entire life. This makes her impulsive and it tends to get her into a little trouble. She can also be a bit spunky and cruel herself when it comes to feedback sometimes which can piss quite a few people off without her even knowing it. Sometimes her sense of humor can be a little self-deprecating, which will sometimes bring people to pity her when that's not her intention at all. Meredith also goes the extra mile to prove her worth and sometimes it winds up exhausting her or pushing her past her limit. Her blindness sometimes is at fault for some of her slip ups in battles and in some particular battles, it's wise to keep her out of it for the sake of keeping her safe. Meredith knows this in the back of her head, but doesn't like it a single bit. She can trust people a little too easily sometimes when she's desperate and doesn't realize that someone could simply be taking advantage of her. The sound of gunshots and screams tend to set her off-- ever since the incident where she was kidnapped. Facing even the simplest thug with a gun can bring her back to that traumatizing night and it'll throw her off significantly. Certain sounds manage to set her off quite easily. Since Meredith doesn't like upsetting people, she's keeping her traumatic kidnapping to herself-- and is also bottling up the fear that her parents could be dead.

Meredith has always been told that she's looks mature for her age-- being just a little taller than most girls her age. She has light brown hair that grows darker in the winter and lighter in the summer. Her hair never usually stays at a constant length-- she'll most usually have it very short, sitting above shoulder length. Sometimes in the winter she'll let it grow out rather long. Her eyes are mocha colored and rather large. She tans easily, especially considering the fact that she loves to spend time outdoors. Meredith typically just wears whatever her mom would pick for her and relies on the other girls in the group to help her with things like clothes. Because of this, she has a few tacky looking outfits (thanks to Lorraine) and a few sensible outfits (thanks to Memory). Fashion has never really been something Meredith cared too much about.

Re: Apple's Characters
Memory
Name: Mei Evelyn Song
Alias: Memory Song
Age: 16 (Born on April 26th, 2001)♉ (Taurus)
Gender: Female
Species/Abilities: Memory is half-demon, as her mother was a demon masquerading as a human. Everyone in her family has abilities relating loosely to knowing more than the average person, whether it be the future, past, or present. Memory can touch an object and know exactly where it had been made and who had used it. Same goes for a person-- she can see their memories if she makes contact with them. The visions give her headaches and she has a tendency to hear voices because of it. Memory can also communicate with the dead. She doesn't seek out ghosts, but sometimes they look for her to give messages to their loved ones. Memory tries to avoid people, as she knows well that her abilities make things uncomfortable for everyone who knows about them. She has no control over it and can't help knowing more about someone or something than everyone else-- there's no 'off' switch. It's taken her several years to have at least a little control over what she can do. She has the potential to read minds as well, but chooses not to, as she knows it would only make her go insane. Memory is also trained in acrobatics and can actually fare rather well in a physical fight. She's also quite handy with a first-aid kit, due to her time with the 'Reds'.
Personality: Memory was a troubled and paranoid child growing up who needed constant support. Her parents were generally there, but for the most part, didn't know exactly how to understand or help her with what she was going through. Isolation was their idea, which both helped and made matters worse at the same time. Being around others tended to make matters worse. Even so, aside from her younger sister, Memory had no friends and was not a social person. She was introverted and quiet, only speaking whenever she was asked a question. She didn't understand jokes that most people understood and felt as though she belonged someplace else.
Being misunderstood and lonely drove her into depression. Experiencing tragedy after tragedy only made things worse-- her parents passed and her siblings were attempting to see eye to eye on the matter of the gangs popping up in Oceanship. Even so, she forced herself to stay strong, calm and collected. She learned eventually to keep at least some control over her abilities and had tough skin. She was smart and had a sharp tongue. She developed a professional demeanor from working at an early age. Things weren't perfect, but they were functioning and Memory found herself climbing up and out from her depressed state. Things changed quickly. The two girls discovered that their older half-brother, Ryland had been in a gang all of this time, and although he was doing it partially for their benefit, it still managed to upset Memory. She knew her brother wasn't very trustworthy and began to feel weary of him. Lian's death wasn't taken lightly on Memory's part either. She began to fall back into depression. And at the same time, several more gangs of supernatural kids were beginning to appear in the city.
Knowing that Lian would want her to move on, she left and tried to make it out of the city. Memory earned some courage and determination and started to do what her sister would've wanted her to. Despite her cleverness and mastery over her abilities, she found that she was beginning to starve and attempting to find a place to stay was becoming fruitless. Hearing about her brother's death convinced her that she would probably die a lonely death in Oceanship, assumed to be a gang member. In trying to escape the city one last time, she was faced with a gang she couldn't conquer and was forced to join them. Memory was miserable. Some of the members of the gang she was in would die. They would be replaced with new kids. Memory only took kindly to the members who were younger than she was. She acted as a nurse and an investigator for the gang and some of the younger members grew rather attached to her-- she wasn't very gentle, but she still had a protective air around her that the kids seemed to be drawn towards. Memory ate their food and took shelter until she finally regained enough courage and strength to leave. She felt a little regret towards some of the younger kids she left, but decided that she'd only be doing them a service if she could somehow find a way to stop the gangs in Oceanship.
Memory is very lonely and carries her burdens silently-- but she also knows how to use her words in a way where they could cut someone like a knife. Although she isn't selfish sometimes her brutally honest remarks makes it seem like she is. She's strong… but underneath, she's quite vulnerable and is scared of loosing those who she cares about. Because of her experiences, she's generally empathetic to the common thug stealing from convenience stores to get by. Even so, she does want to try and help others, especially since she knows that's what her sister would want her to do. She has a sense of security and protectiveness about her that draw people to her in dire circumstances. As she's dealt with trauma before, it's rather difficult to impress her with a story. She's very business-like when it comes to helping others and doesn't take lightly to things. She has no sense of humor and isn't very easy to engage with. Memory also has a very strong work ethic. Her depression is mostly battled, as she's learned to let go of a little of her pain. Even so, some of it still lingers. She doesn't intend to waste her life.
Bio: Memory's childhood was a whirlwind experience, as she was given abilities that were extremely difficult to control. Everything she touched gave her visions and she swore the apartment complex she lived in with her family was haunted. After one too many horrible experiences in school, her parents decided to homeschool her and keep her away from other kids. She was traumatized with her experiences and her parents consulted someone to give her therapy. It took her a long time before she gained some control-- but her isolation lead her to become depressed. Her siblings were her only playmates and were also dealing with abilities of their own. Things took a worse turn when her parents passed in a car accident. Her brother, being twenty, got a job and tried his best to keep their home.
Financially, it wasn't enough. They moved to Oceanship to find a smaller and cheaper place. Ryland, her brother, tried to work and asked a few of the friends he had to watch Memory and Lian-- as they were still very young. Memory battled depression and Lian tried her best to hold things together. All three of them were denied the experience of actually going to school due to their statuses as half-demons and decided that working towards achieving better living conditions was their main goal once they were old enough to. Memory opened a fortune-telling booth in a local shopping center and Lian scrubbed tables at a rundown cafe. It took a while before Memory and Lian realized it, but Ryland had been earning money through working for a gang-- one of the first ones to form in the city itself. Both girls were shaken when they figured out. Memory didn't fight against it as much as Lian did, merely thinking that they'd do what they had to do to get by. But Lian was considerably heartbroken and ran off on her own. Memory ran after her. Lian was sitting by the ruins of an old bookstore when she found her, shivering. Lian had been teased by a few younger members of a gang and had some of that day's payment stolen away from her. Memory, upset, took Lian home and told Ryland that getting mixed up in these gangs wasn't going to do any of them any good.
They argued for quite a while and things were becoming tense for all of them. Lian, in effort to calm herself during these stormy times, took it upon herself to help others based upon the visions she frequently received in her dreams. Whether it be to help a stray find its' home or to do a little extra work at the cafe. After receiving a vision in her dream of a young boy being hit by a car, she decided that she wanted to change his fate With that in mind, she ended up pushing him away and was hit instead. She fell into a coma and died shortly afterwards. Soon after Lian's death, gangs were appearing everywhere throughout the city. The parents of supernatural kids were being murdered and the numbers of orphaned kids were piling up. Most orphanages refused to house kids with 'freakish' abilities.
Ryland eventually became a full-time gang leader and Memory was falling back into depression. She refused to join her brother, as she knew it would have upset Lian. Despite the fact that her best friend had been yanked away from her and she hadn't very much of a will to continue on, she let her sister's death be a reason to try and salvage the life she was living. She left on her own and took the few things that she had with her. She gave herself the alias of 'Memory' on the streets-- she believed there was a danger and vulnerability in revealing her real name to the gangs. In the end, however, she found herself starving and without a place to stay. On the streets she heard that her brother had been murdered during one of his missions-- she wasn't told how or when. Just that his second-in-command wanted to take over and killed him for the position. She felt a little regret-- perhaps, if she had been there, maybe she could have prevented it.
Eventually, she was too weak to hold on her own and was forced into a gang known as the 'Reds'. In her weakened state, she wasn't forced to fight. But she was asked to do investigational work in order to be one step in front of the other gangs. Her time with the Reds was rough and she made no effort to become close with any of the other members in the gang. She stayed in the base, sick, and only came out when she was demanded to. Even so, eating the food they provided her with and being able to rest gave her some of her strength back. Deciding after a few months that life wasn't worth living if she spent it in a gang, she took a fleeting chance and ran. And in doing so, she ran into Meredith-- who wouldn't give into the gangs and had a goal to find the rumored 'superhero team' of supernatural kids on the outskirts of Oceanship. After seeing a little of her sister in the girl, Memory decided to help her with a sliver of hope to change.
Family:
Norah and Hyo Song were Memory's parents. They both passed in a car accident. Her mother was a demon, pretending to be human. Memory knew them up until she was five and they tried to provide as much help as they could to try and ensue that she could control her abilities and were both relatively caring in that aspect. Although they didn't find the best solution in helping Memory cope with her problems, they were still always there when she needed them and losing them both started her depression. She doesn't' remember them really well and when asked, says that she doesn't miss them very much because she was never really given the chance to get to know them. Part of that statement is a lie.
Ryland Song, Memory's half-brother, older than her by fifteen years. He was always a little rebellious and loved a taste of freedom. He also tended to use his abilities everywhere-- he can basically get into people's minds to see their memories-- he can provide false memories or remove memories. He uses this ability frequently to manipulate people. Although he's rather gruff, he's somewhat protective of his younger sisters and does what he can to help them get by after their mother and the girls' father passed in the car accident. However, finding work was rather difficult for him, and he took to the streets and joined a gang because he thirsted for some excitement. His selfishness blinded him regarding how much more important it was to take care of Memory and Lian. As though to erase the pain of Lian's death, he goes on to become the leader of the gang that he joined, extending the invitation to Memory. He was somewhat hurt when she refused his offer, but didn't let it stop him from pursuing the life he wanted. In the end, his manipulative powers made his gang suspicious and his second-in-command wound up murdering him and taking his place.
Lian Song, Memory's younger sister. She was a troublemaker and usually could manage to wedge herself into the trickiest of situations. It was usually to achieve the greater good-- like saving a cat from a tree or helping someone else to find a lost toy, but her efforts are most normally fruitless. She also tended to be accident prone, leaving Memory to care for her in most circumstances. Aside from being a bit of a firecracker, she had a genuine heart and always tried to help her sister through her torment. Memory, in turn, had a slight maternal instinct whenever it came to Lian. She told her stories and brought her candy whenever she received her payment for work. Lian was there when Ryland wasn't. And in turn, Lian felt closer to Memory as well. Also being half-demon gave her abilities-- however, she merely saw visions in her dreams. Having one about a boy being hit by a car urged her to go search for him and save him. In the end, she wound up being hit instead. She fell into a coma and died shortly afterwards. Her death kills a part of Memory while also giving her a little strength and determination at the same time.
Strengths: Memory can take the harshest of insults without feeling upset or getting down on herself, as long as it isn't coming from anyone close to her. She has thick skin and it takes a ton to faze her after all that she's been through. Minor injuries seem like no big deal to her, even when they probably should. It's hard for her to feel any kind of pain when it comes to cuts and bruises and she works past it without flinching. Although it doesn't seem like she's very gentle, she's very protective of those who are close to her and would easily give her life for someone who deserves it. Memory is also incredibly smart and is especially good at planning ahead and thinking very carefully before she takes a step forward. She realizes that even the smallest of decisions could change or even end a life and she doesn't tread through life carelessly because of it. She knows a lot of random facts that not a lot of other people seem to know, as her isolation made her a bit of a bookworm. She's incredibly knowledgable in English and science-- knowing a great deal about health and what she should do should someone get hurt. Becoming a nurse for the Reds made her quite a healer and she's quite handy with a first-aid kid. She's quite ambitious and when she has a goal, she'll stop at nothing until she achieves it. After her sister passed, Memory became extremely selfless and ready to help anyone and anything she can. Through the sadness, she suffered through it and found a little light from meeting Meredith. Despite almost having given up so many times, she's still climbing up and trying to find a way out of what she's experiencing on the streets in Oceanship. She's quite skilled in reading a lie and can tell when someone's being genuine or not when it comes to offering her assistance to others. Thugs don't tend to bother her if they've got a good reason for doing what they're doing. She's somewhat empathetic but doesn't give anyone any slack when it comes to giving orders. She's a natural leader and people grow attached to her because she seems to know exactly what she's doing in most circumstances. Being withdrawn is the only real setback for her in that aspect. Her main goal is ending the gangs in Oceanship-- even though it seems endless. Memory is also quite good at keeping things to herself-- if she comes into contact with someone and sees some of their darkest memories, she'll keep quiet and won't reveal a thing. Acrobatics is also one of her strong suits and she uses it quite frequently in battle.
Weaknesses: Memory hides behind a shell and is very good at hiding the fact that she's actually very vulnerable and afraid of rejection. She doesn't want someone close to her to leave her nor does she want someone to suffer for her sake. Along with being socially inept she also does what she can to push others away from her. For one, she wants to let everyone have their privacy. If she does see someone's story through contact, she'll become sympathetic with them and may grow much too attached to them. She becomes protective and then blames herself whenever something bad happens. Memory's a skillful liar and can keep anything from anyone. If she touches someone's hand and sees their past, she won't reveal it. Even if knowing some of the information she's handed is useful, she'll still keep quiet. She keeps these aspects of her abilities a secret from the team, as she's scared that they'll grow scared of her because of it. She also hides the fact that she was a part of an extremely dangerous and well-known gang known as the 'Reds' on the streets. Being secretive and tough, to her, is better than being rejected for being scared and vulnerable. Memory is also battling with lingering feelings of depression. She tends to ignore it, but sometimes cannot endure what her abilities wind up putting her through or what feelings her memories give her. She likes to be alone and tries to convince herself that getting too close to the team will only hurt her and them in the end. The isolation is what started these feelings to begin with, so she's merely digging herself a deeper hole by separating herself from people. Memory also has an all-business attitude and no sense of humor. While on missions this can be a good thing, she still doesn't seem to remember that she's still just a kid and that she should try her best to enjoy life from time to time. Along with being mannered, protective, and knowledgable beyond her years, Memory uses her wit and sarcasm as a weapon when it comes to someone who particularly irritates her. Memory has also conjured a dislike for Lorraine, mainly for sharing many traits with her deceased sister. She tends to act like she knows more than everyone else and for that reason, sometimes people grow to dislike her.

Memory has short, straight brown hair with bangs swept to the right of her face. She keeps it short primarily because it's simpler to keep that way-- her hair is healthier and it's simpler to tend to. Without a lot of money, Memory tends to buy very plain and practical clothes. It's obvious that they're rather worn down and aren't as 'prim and proper' as she might seem. She has large brown eyes and is at an average height for a girl her age-- a little on the shorter side, even so. Memory has a guilty pleasure for headbands and clips as well as necklaces and dangling earrings.

Re: Apple's Characters
Anya
Name: Annaliese 'Bonnie' Pryce
Alias: Anya
Age: 12 (Born on April 24th, 20XX)
Gender: Female
Species/Abilities: Anya grew up having technological based abilities-- she can hack into any known computer with her mind, shut down an entire town's electricity, and control all kinds of vehicles with the simple wave of her hand. She can also fly at super speeds. Anya is later used as Max Van Denend's 'special project' and is basically turned into a cyborg. Considering she was caught in accident that cost her her right arm and gave her significant trauma to her skull, Van Denend replaced her arm with a mechanical one and also surgically altered her to the point where she became a weapon designed to carry out the Organization's mission. Her personality is nullified and her memories of who she used to be have been wiped clean entirely. Her abilities and the 'equipment' Max Van Denend used on her tend to go hand in hand-- she can change her arm into a weapon and apply it without having to push buttons. Anya can lie and manipulate others rather easily and doesn't have a second thought about it, as she's completely vacant.
Bio: Annaliese grew up with her parents and two older brothers. Aside from training sessions and having two heroes for parents, her childhood was relatively normal. Her parents would bicker, though it was never heated enough that it negatively affected anyone in the household. Whenever any sort of danger seemed to hit, her parents did a thorough job of diminishing it quickly. She and her brothers were trained, though she never found herself as enthusiastic about physical battles as her brothers were. She's timid when it comes to fighting altogether and doesn't really like the idea of hurting anyone. Anya's practically a genius and skipped a grade. She's charming and has a lot of charisma, she's often referred to as a teacher's pet and can bypass any suspicion with a smile. Because of her incredible wit, she's often a little too arrogant and cocky. Annaliese tends to be a little spoiled as well-- she knows she's the baby of the family and tends to use that to her advantage. She comes off as snobbish, which is part of the reason why she only has two close friends and prefers to keep away from larger groups of people. Underneath her exterior, she's actually very sweet and can't stand to see anyone get hurt. Along with being an A plus student, Annaliese also learned dance from her Aunt Audrey and became quite a bookworm. She felt that she might lead a normal life, despite the fact that her parents were involved superheroes and her brothers seemed intent on following that lifestyle themselves.
When Annaliese and her brothers are captured for some sort of sick project, her wit and technological based abilities get her further ahead of everyone else. She can break any lock without passing the tests set out for them-- and naturally, this angers her unnamed captor. Before she can help her brothers and the other kids escape, as she plans to do, she's tricked into a room intended to be a deathtrap. Anya manages to make it out alive-- just barely. She lost her arm and received a considerable amount of damage to the back of her skull. Supposedly knowing that Anya was going to die from those injuries and that her parents were superheroes, her captor put her in a time machine in attempt to 'hide the evidence'. Unknowingly leaving her arm and a trail of blood behind, leading her brothers in the future to believe that she'd died.
When she comes to, she finds herself wired to a machine and without any memory of what'd happened to her, where she came from, or why she had mechanical parts. She knows her mission is to successfully fulfill the Organization's plans and that she's designed to be a weapon. She decides that fulfilling the Organization's goals would somehow lead her to the truth behind what happened to her and joins Scorpius's team under Frost's request. She lost the charm, the charisma, and everything that made her who she was. The only thing she really keeps is her wit and an arrogant edge. The only thing she really remembers is a part of her name-- which processes as 'Anya' instead of Annaliese. As a cyborg, she lacks emotion and remorse-- though a small part of her remains human, just thriving to know who she used to be and what'd happened to her.
Strengths: Anya is an incredibly smart girl who probably didn't even need any assistance from the technology Van Denend implanted inside her. She knows random facts that no one else tends to know and can understand what's going on in most situations logically. Because of this, she's good at dodging and predicting what her opponents are going to do. She's incredibly flexible and can hide in small spaces without being noticed. She's witty and is very quick to shoot down any stupid remarks, plans, or suggestions (mostly coming from Vincent). She's tech savvy and can repair or hack into any system, no matter how complex. Anya tends to be persistent and ambitious, she'll keep going until she's physically forced to stop. She never quits. She's also striving to find her identity as she performs missions with her team as well as trying to grasp at the few threads of humanity she has left in her. Anya's a perfectionist and has to do everything right.
Weaknesses: Anya has come to a point where it's very difficult for her to convey emotions or any form of empathy to other people. She seems vacant and unfeeling, unaware of how her actions harm other people. At first, she's only working as a part of Scorpius's team to obey her programming and to find her identity. Helping her teammates is the last thing on her mind until she gradually learns to work with them. Without her memory, she's unnecessarily cruel at certain points in time and is somewhat oblivious to the fact that she tends to have a stony demeanor. Anya's stubborn, very much so, and this can sometimes land her into trouble-- she's persistent, which can be both good and bad. Due to her programming, she's actually a little manipulative and devious as well-- she knows that she's a weapon created for the Organization's success, and feels she has to follow through in order to discover who she is. She's also a little arrogant and easily underestimates most of her opponents. She's not entirely capable in terms of strength either, as she lost most of what she used to be able to do after Van Denend changed her. She's powerful from a long distance, but gets a little clumsy when it comes to throwing kicks and punches. Anya hasn't completely mastered flying at incredible speeds, so she chooses not to.

Appearance:
(Chloe Lukasiak)
Anya has wavy blonde hair and dark, chocolate brown eyes. Her skin is most normally a little pale, as she prefers not to be outdoors very much. She's got long legs and is incredibly lean. Her posture is usually very graceful and she tends to be a little girly when it comes to the way she dresses. Now that she's a cyborg, her right arm is completely mechanic. Otherwise, it's the same shape and size as a normal arm. She also doesn't care as much for the way she dresses, as her personality has been ripped from her. She still has youthful features-- but now she has a bit of a sophisticated and mature look about her, despite being only twelve years old.
