As though working an ass ton of hours the past few weeks to where I even gave up most of my weekends wasn't bad enough, some jackass decided to break into my car while I was voluntarily working today. Knocked out my passenger window. For what? Jack shit, there was nothing in my car of value to take! So thanks doucher, wherever you are, for making me all the more stressed out this month for no good reason.

Oh man, Loki, I'm so sorry to hear that. I hate how idiotic people can be sometimes. It's a good thing you didn't have anything of value in your car at least.

I'm basically getting screwed over this week by my committee, who are the people who signed on to support me in my thesis research. My thesis proposal is due in six days, but my adviser has yet to give me feedback on a section that he heavily edited on the last draft. I can't finish the proposal until he gives me some feedback. One committee members has had the latest draft for a MONTH and hasn't even looked at it! I'm sorry, I don't care how busy you are, but you signed on to help me and should carry out your responsibilities to your graduate students. And if you can't do that, then stop taking on even more students! And my boss (another committee member) who takes me out diving has just been MIA today, so I have no idea if our supposed dive trip is even happening tomorrow.

At the rate this is going, I'll end out the semester with no data and a crappy proposal when I should have been sampling every month and have even more pressure from my committee to get my data when it's not even my fault that I have NOTHING so far.

Okay, all of this has happened within the past couple of hours and is so ridiculous it's, like, morbidly humorous. So since my dive trip clearly isn't happening today, I figured I would sleep in a little because I was wiped out from stress yesterday. Well, my roommate apparently left her phone in her bathroom last night and had forgotten about it, because its ridiculously loud alarm started going off at 7:30, a full hour and a half before I was supposed to wake up. She was already gone, so I turned it off and went back to bed. Just when I'm about to fall asleep again around 8, the cat comes scratching at my door for no good reason other than she wanted in and couldn't get past the door.

After flailing around in bed for another half hour wide awake now, I decide I might as well get up and clean the litterbox. The cat had not one, but two messes to clean up OUTSIDE the litterbox. And just to add insult to injury, she sat in front of the box and started peeing ON THE FLOOR RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME.

I mean, really? REALLY?! My day hasn't even started yet and it's already failing!

Aw...those days are terrible, Silvan. I'm glad you had a good Halloween to make up for it.

I complain that facebook is not letting me upload my pictures easily. A ten minute process is taking me an hour and I'm not nearly done -_-

I also miss my husband. Loads.

Talas, you probably should have left her after the first time, but especially because this is the second time, you know she's not going to change. You should leave her and find someone better.

I've been having a parasitic little cold for the past few days myself. It's more an irritation than actually feeling sick, but it's annoying. It's like I'm getting to sample the Flu Buffet. "Here, sample a sore throat. Now a cough. Ooh, try some of this stuffy nose!"
That's pretty much how it's going. Razz

It's almost like a token winter-time challenge, like it's not even trying anymore, just going through the motions. "Runny nose? Ah, you're fine; Check. Been through the fever yet? Yup, yup, yer good. Check. Move along. Next!"

I waitress, and Wednesday nights are the busiest night of the week, which means the most money. This girl I work with wanted me to switch with her, guilt tripped me, etc., because she claims she needs to pay her rent. I told her no, because I need to pay my bills.

First thing I see when I check Facebook? A picture of her at the bar for tequila Tuesdays.

Bitch, don't tell me you need my money shift for rent when you've got plenty of money to drink does of tequila all night.

Well, that might depend on how attractive said co-worker is. She might be able to get free drinks all night. However, you need to money just as much, and are more responsible, so more power to you.

My complaint is having intestinal issues in Peru. Not sure what caused it, (yes, I know you can't drink the water) but it makes me tired and grouchy. Alas. Second compliant is not being able to make it to Machu Pichu before I have to be back for leveling classes.

I accidentally deleted one of my characters in my character thread here on FoG. I clicked Edit to copy the basic layout of my character sheet for a character I just created, but I started filling it in with new information on a character I wanted to make, thinking I'd just copy it all and go back to post a reply to paste it in. Instead, I hit Send, therefore overwriting the original character I had in that post.

I worked hard on that character too, since I had to do a lot of research because it was for WoW. Sad

I'm really disappointed that I did that. I was so excited that I thought of that character too. I'm so angry with myself. I really loved that character! Now I don't know if I can write everything about them again or even recall it. I don't even know if I want to. UGH.

Oh, no, Fayt! I'm so sorry! I've done similar things before, and I know how disappointing it can be!

You could try just finding the energy to update a little about the character at a time, and even if you don't recall everything, you could always maybe make up a little bit here and there to make it a little newer. It could be more like a reboot or a homage to that character than a complete rewrite?

I complain that I dream so vividly, and so randomly. I'll wake up dreaming about somebody I wasn't even thinking about (or I suppose I didn't realize I was thinking about, if you want to go with the dreams are our subconscious theory) and then I feel all weirded out with myself scratch
