Three Days to Hell - Partner search
The story takes place in the (fictional) city of Parsico in western Pennsylvania.
With a total population of 227,450 according to the 2010 census, Parsico has all the characteristics of a city of its size, both good and bad. Its citizens lead lives as interesting or as average as every other typical American city dweller. On September 4th, news reports started airing concerning civil unrest in some of the poorer districts. Details were sketchy, and the events were described as small, scattered riots. On September 5th, police mobilize in force to quell the rioting, which started in West Clataqua, but began to intensify and spill over into neighboring districts. Citizens on the northern side of the river were assured by city officials that the situation was already beginning to subside and would not cross the river into downtown Parsico.
They were completely and utterly wrong.
By 5:00 AM on the morning of September 6th, the violence had spread and the truth was out. The cause of the “unrest” was in fact an outbreak of a viral disease, which was given an acronym for an overly complicated scientific label for a name, that infected an individual via the bloodstream. It lodged itself in the brain of the host, rapidly deteriorating the infected individual's mental and bodily functions and eventually killing them. But here's the kicker - it didn't just kill you. No, that would be too kind. The deceased came back within a matter of minutes to further spread the infection. The perfect vectors, you might say.
The infected spread their disease to the living, adding more and more to their ranks. With no method to cure the virus, getting bitten is a death sentence. Their quickness and numbers are their strength, but their complete lack of intelligence and their susceptibility to the same injuries as before gives the survivors an advantage.

I've been really wanting to do another zombie RP, but the last one got very crowded and it was a little hard to keep track of where everyone was. So, I've decided to do this one as a 1x1 and I need a partner. Post here if interested or if you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer any you have. : )

This sounds great! Every other zombie RP I've seen's dissolved before it even started.
What sort of character were you looking to play against? Any preferences?

What kind of characters are you good at playing? I was hoping for another citizen, just an average Joe/Jane that has no idea what the bloody hell is about to happen. For instance, my character's a bartender in Windmont.

Average Joes/Janes are my specialty. Would you like me to play a guy or a girl?
Re: Three Days to Hell - Partner search
Either one works. That's your decision. I'll be playing a guy, plus any NPCs that my character knows, (anyone like coworkers, family, and close friends of your character can be controlled by you, just so it's clear.) I'll put up an OOC in a minute.

Sounds good. I'll work with what you give me.
Also, just so I don't walk into this unprepared, were you expecting a love interest? It's so common that I feel weird asking, but several RPs that have a more actiony type of plot, ones that easily crowd out any sort of romance (and the ones that don't often get hijacked by the romance), so I don't want to make any assumptions.

A love interest is fine with me, I don't mind.
