Setting/Story Overview:: The time is 1888 and the story takes place in a world almost matching to our own. The Victorian Era goes strong in White Chapel and the killer 'Jack the Ripper' is known oh too well. But it is far from human and it has a purpose of killing as well. As the killings begin to pile up, one atop of the other, the people of White Chapel continue to get more and more scared and the case of finding who truly is 'Jack' seems impossible. White Chapel in this story is not of the White Chapel from the past, it is a simply town in a forest near a large lake and waterfall and cut off from the rest of the world due to a large river surrounding the town. A single bridge crosses the river and it is guarded heavily to keep monsters from the outside world entering and the people in the town from escaping. In a world of humans and mortals what is to happen when someone of the 'mythical' race enters there midst?

I'd be interested in trying this, but before I offer a character, I'm wondering what the role of a monster hunter is? Is the name self explanatory and open to interpretation or is there some code of honor or background info on it?
