Wonderland Divided OOC

[Psyche]

When Alice returns to the manifested world of her explicit imagination, she find that things have taken a turn for the worst. Wonderland has been bathed in the blood of its inhabitants since Alice’s last visit several years ago. A war has been declared between the Red and the White kingdoms, each monarch believing that their rule will benefit the land more effectively than the other’s. Of course, this initial disagreement sparked a relentless fire in the core of the Red Queen, which lead her to lose her head. She gathered her forces, consisting primarily of her army of cards, and ignited the White kingdom with brutality and bloodshed without a word of warning.

The battles occur sporadically throughout Wonderland, stirring up in locations that anyone might suspect is safe from any sort of harm. Lives are taken every day; no one is exempt from the imminence that is death in this bloody conflict. When Alice stumbles once more upon this world of her own, she must decide what actions she could take to set things right --- her life and sanity depend on it.

Name: The Mad Hatter
Gender: Female
Occupation: Former hatter/herbalist
Alliance: Vagabond
Age: Late twenties
Appearance: Tall and scrawny, Hatter usually has a slouched, uncomfortable-looking posture even in the presence of, say, royalty. She wears a variety of hats, though typically wears the same outfit every day of the week – whether or not she washes it is difficult to say. Her hair is long, scraggly, and white. She usually ties it in the back, for the sake of keeping it secure. She has a pale complexion and a bright red mark beneath her left eye, whose iris is a bright and intimidating yellow. Hatter dresses for the party she hopes to host constantly, always trying to look sharp and at her best. Protruding from the square of her back is a peculiar crank, its uses unknown to the common bystander.
Personality: Hatter is a chipper woman who could talk your ear off about just near any subject under the sun. She constantly loses focus on whatever she is doing, but is easily brought back to attention. Anyone’s mood can be broken, but hers takes extra effort to shatter. Hatter lives for the moment, no matter the consequences.

Always mysterious and sometimes paradoxically wise, this spectral feline is the unofficial guide to all who find themselves in this strange land. His motives are as unknown as his origins.

However, the desire to remain in such a state, for any length of time, is often very fleeting. Speak one word wrong, take one step out of line, allow a single hair to fall the wrong way, and look out!
